 I am not saying that MSN is distorting the facts, but they are trying. I was reading an article the day after the alleged "debate" and at the bottom of the story was one of those polls they want you to take. Here is the poll as it appeared:

Notice that they only listed five of the eight candidates. They failed to list Doug Burgum who is probably in last place. They also failed to list the two widely accepted frontrunners, DeSantis and Ramaswamy. I guess that by manipulating the question, you eliminate the need to manipulate the data you gather. So, this is how the media works. Thanks to MSN for demonstrating it so clearly.

I saw a clip of Schmuck Todd on NBC asking Bernie Sanders about Biden's age. He asked a guy older than Biden if age was a problem. Was Diane Feinstein not available for a coherent comment? 

Biden wants Congress to "Make Pharmaceutical Companies Rich Again" with a new COVID vaccine. He actually said, "This one will work". He will recommend that every American get the shot. Let me be kind, Joe. Take your recommendation and cram it up your ass. 

Biden and the CDC are professional con men. They are like the guy begging on the corner. If you will just give him another couple of bucks, this will be the day he finds a job. If we can just make Fauci rich again, we can all be healed. I would take my chances with a phony faith healer in a traveling tent show before I would get the new vaccine. 

What kind of cut are Hunter and Sleepy Joe going to get out of the vaccine? Is it a flat rate or do they get paid by the number of suckers they convince to get the shot?? Is Uncle Frank Biden getting a piece of the action? Do the grandkids get a piece? How is the Biden syndicate handling this? Inquiring minds want to know!

I didn't get the old vaccine. Why not? First, the CDC listed the several thousand Americans who died after getting the vaccine as experiencing an "adverse reaction". A rash is an "adverse reaction", death is pretty final. Second, I had COVID before it was all the rage. After recovering, I resumed interacting with other humans. I had natural immunity from both the disease and being exposed to other people. Unlike many of those who got the vaccine, I didn't get COVID again, much less multiple times.

I would rather hang out at a flea market or yard sale and take a chance on being exposed to COVID than sit in the living room wearing a gas mask, watching Fauci on television and waiting to die from the vaccine.

This time we have Mandy Cohen running the CDC. She was piloting the scam in 2020 here in North Carolina. Can the government not hire a doctor who has actually practiced medicine for a number of years? Can a supply clerk stay in the military long enough to chair the Joint Chiefs?

So, what's my final answer to a vaccine shot?   Thirty years ago, I worked at Casa Gallardo with a guy named Roger Jacobs. I don't remember enough about Roger to pick him out of a lineup, but I recall one thing vividly. What I do recall is Roger's response to really stupid questions. Here's an example: An employee asks Roger if he can have Friday night off. Roger responds, " Not just no! Not just no way! But no fucking way, Baby!!" Shall I transmit this to Crooked Joe?

News from Australia is that a USMC Osprey has crashed killing three and injuring twenty. If this aircraft were an automobile, the government would have recalled it years ago. They would shut down an amusement park ride with this safety record. If this were a railroad, Pete Buttgig would be all over it. Instead, our military members keep dying in accidents. How many more Marines will die before someone says, "There's a problem with this aircraft. Remove it from service!"

I realize that helicopters are a fairly dangerous mode of transportation. I read an article that claims that Ospreys are not helicopters that fly like airplanes, they are airplanes that hover like helicopters. Judging by the death rate, they aren't doing either of those things very well.

My brother-in-law was a helicopter guy in the US Army for eighteen years. Then he worked with helicopters as a contractor in Saudi Arabia for another ten years. After hearing all of his stories, I won't even step inside a helicopter at a museum. I am damn sure not going for a ride in one.

 However, this crash brings up another point, why are we in Australia? Our own country is being invaded at the southern border while the Marines are thousands of miles away practicing what to do if Australia gets invaded. Are you serious? 

Apparently, the preseason games for the National Felons League started a couple of weeks ago. Do they notify the local jail before a team comes to town? Stock up on the XXXL jumpsuits, it's almost game time!!

I guess that Biden hiding in Lake Tahoe on the anniversary of the Afghanistan pullout is just a coincidence. I read somewhere that Biden and General Milley Vanilli will make a joint appearance on August 30 to mark the anniversary of the end of the debacle.  Maybe they can be the last two guys on an Osprey out of Lake Tahoe. That could be the beginning of the Legend of Tail Gunner Joe.  The late Senator McCarthy won't be the last guy that Biden plagiarizes. 

Trying to build up more support in a friendly area, the Chris Christie campaign has arranged for him to appear in the Macy's Christmas Parade in New York City this year. He will be in the parade lineup right behind the Rocky and Bullwinkle balloons. So, when Chris goes past you, don't panic. It's not an eclipse, it's just the Jersey cow floating aloft between you and the sun.

The press keeps telling us that the Bidens are renting their accomplice's home in Lake Tahoe at the fair market rate. No one will disclose that rate or show us a check. Are we compelled to believe whatever they say? It doesn't matter what they "pay" him, he will just donate it back to the Crooked Joe Fund.

Contrary to the governor of Hawaii and his coaches and comrades in the federal government, the county of Maui reports that the fire was not caused by climate change. It was caused by the failure to keep grasses and brush cleared from beneath power lines. If only Hawaii Electric had not spent so much money on diversity, inclusion and equity programs, they would have had the funds to maintain their easements. 

We don't have a climate emergency; we have a common sense emergency.

Why do Democrats want to silence everyone who speaks against them? The party that endorsed the riots and demonstrations of the 2020 "Summer of Looting" wants to ban conservatives from speaking. Democrats are the party of homeless camps on city streets and organized retail theft. It would be funny if it weren't destroying the nation.

 I am tired of leftists who claim they are fighting for women's rights when they can't even define "woman". 

You can't pick your skin color or height, but people claim that you can choose your gender. The real problem is that they are rewriting the dictionary. Somebody on television the other night said, "I can't believe that they haven't taken the dic out of dictionary."

Despite all of the liberal claims to the contrary, there are only two genders. As to any other genders claimed by lunatics to exist, Conway Twitty sang it best, "It's only make believe".

Democrats are redefining everything. When the government shuts down the economy and puts a large segment out of work to fight a disease that they helped fund in China, people going back to work are considered "new jobs".  If gas is $4 a gallon, they claim that is a lower price than $2 a gallon. That's some of that common core math, I guess. Or in the 1960's, we called it "new math".

There's a great article by George Parry on the American Spectator website. The article is titled "Fani's gift to Trump".  George says that this case will give Trump an opportunity to produce all of the election irregularities from the 2020 election in a court room. If they charged Trump for challenging election results, he gets to tell his side of the story. That's going to take a long time in a court room. RFK Jr. told us everything that is going on at the Southern Border that the Democrats don't want to talk about. Then he had a few words to say about JFK's assassination that are sure to upset a bunch of folks at CIA Headquarters in Langley, VA. If RFK Jr. dies in a plane crash, indict Biden!!

 I read an article today that claims that Joe Biden's signature has changed over the last couple of years to a signature that resembles Jill Biden's signature. If a bill has a forged signature, is it still valid?

Roy Cooper vetoed an elections bill the other day. In 2020, the State Board of Elections changed the requirements for mailed absentee ballots. When challenged by the legislature, the board said that they had not changed the laws, they had only changed the rules. So, the legislature is changing the entire process so that the board can't change the rules again. They are also changing the laws on how the board is chosen. Memo to Roy and dim Dems: If you play with fire long enough, your ass will get burned. 

The annual Labor Day Flea Market in Hillsville, Virginia starts on Friday, September 1. As usual, I will set up in the VFW Post lot. Last year, the Trump Store guy was across from me. I think that he will be there this year. If not, I have a few "Let's Go Brandon" flags for sale. I'm the guy with the "Stuff For Sale" signs. News Reporters(?) are starting to sound the alarm about a possible government shutdown over the budget. I am trying to figure out what the downside of a shutdown would be. Will they stop shipping billions to Ukraine? Will they keep doing nothing in Maui? Will the Justice Department stop trying to frame Trump? Will the Special Counsel not offer Hunter Biden a New Deal? 

I took my wife to the orthopedic clinic for physical therapy after her recent surgery. Thom Tillis, the alleged Republican from North Carolina, has an office in the same building. I walked by his office at 10:30 AM to see that it was closed. No activity visible, no lights on, no traces of intelligent life were seen. Has the government shutdown already started? If not, how will we know when it does?

When I was a kid, we had paper straws and returnable soft drink bottles. People who are suggesting the same things today are acting like they have invented electric lights. Sorry guys, we had that stuff sixty years ago.

California and Nevada were hit several days ago by Tropical Storm Hilary. They also had a mild earthquake in Southern California. Whether you believe in God or not, there is a message in those events for you.

California was last hit by a tropical storm in 1939. So, is the climate changing or is it just going back to what it used to be? 

I watched a few clips from the alleged "debate". Mike Pence claiming that "We can't have on the job training" in foreign policy was a hoot. A guy who claimed that his biggest concern was that "Ukraine doesn't have enough American tanks" needs to remove his head from his ass. 

Maybe Pence, Haley and all of the others would be best served by being compelled to study George Washington's Farewell Address. Note: Pay particular attention to the part about "beware of foreign entanglements."

More than a week after the event, the White House issued a statement claiming that Biden had said "No Comment" in a response to a question about Maui because he did not hear the question. If he did not hear the question, why did he answer? Liar, Liar, Hair Club hair on fire!!

Asa Hutchinson is a walking argument for culling the herd in the Republican Party. After watching the Jersey cow, Chris Christie, attack Vivek Ramaswamy, I would like to second that motion to cull the herd.

The Fulton Couty DA who has charged Trump with challenging an election, will soon charge Trump with failing to plead guilty. It is a crime in Atlanta to disagree with Democrats. Trump would have gotten better treatment if he had looted a Dollar General during a "peaceful" protest.

I will become a regular viewer of the first network that has the balls to start posting a "political prisoner count" on their network.

Is Biden the new Lincoln?

 In the 1860 election, Lincoln promised to preserve the Union. In the election of 2020, Joe Biden promised to unify the country. They both turned out to be world class liars. But Biden still has time to take a clear lead in the "Who was the greater tyrant?" contest.

Lincoln started his preservation process by raising an army to invade the South. Biden started "unifying" the nation by trying to kill off all of the older people with a vaccine that does not function like every other actual working vaccine. He maintained an emergency shutdown of public activities that banned everything except protest and looting by BLM activists. Somewhere in hell, Lincoln watched this and was kicking himself in the ass thinking, "I can't believe that I didn't think of BLM protests." Biden then started his campaign to destroy the nation's energy structure. He also threw in his support of sexual deviants in their struggle to change the science of biology.

Lincoln banned the use of the writ of Habeas Corpus. Among other things, he had one third of the Maryland General Assembly arrested and held to prevent them from voting on secession. Biden ordered the Department of Justice to prosecute the former president after he announced that he would run against Biden in 2024. Biden then stopped the Department of Justice from charging his son with taking bribes from foreign countries and sharing the money with Joe.

Many people thought that Lincoln acted a little strange. Maybe it was because he was married to Mary Todd Lincoln. Mary Todd, there's a case study for a federal mental health grant. There are many who find Biden more than a little strange. Of course, Joe is married to Dr. Jill, who doesn't find it unusual that Joe likes to sniff little girls and is reputed to have showered with his daughter as she was growing up. No one has offered a time frame for when the showers stopped. Probably the first time Dr. Jill came home early from the office.

In 1865, the commissary general of prisoners reported that 13,535 citizens had been arrested and confined in military prisons between February 1862 and the end of the war. To get a total number of civilians held you would need to add those arrested before February 1862, those held under the State Department, those held by the Navy and those held in prisons of the assorted states. It is estimated that 38,000 would be a close estimate of the number of political prisoners.

The Biden Department of Justice has charged and convicted several hundred citizens claiming that they participated in an "insurrection" at the Capitol on January 6. Interestingly enough, not a single person has been charged with insurrection. The Biden administration has got to hurry to match the Lincoln totals on political prisoners. Rest assured that they are giving it their best effort. But those efforts don't include those BLM rioters. The BLM rioters who looted and burned billions of dollars in property are still walking the streets free from prosecution by the Department of Justice and local governments. 

When Lincoln vowed that he would "preserve the Union," he left out the part about that happening at the point of a gun. When Biden promised to be a unifier, he didn't say that his definition of unity was to put all of his opponents together in jails. The only unifying that Biden has done is to unite those who oppose his corrupt regime.

The damage done by Lincoln is still with us today. How long will the legacy of Biden's corruption stay with us?

What Debate?

 Tonight, in Milwaukee they are holding what is alleged to be the first debate of the 2024 Presidential Election Season. I have no plans to watch the event. Why or why not? First, it's not really a debate. They aren't going to be arguing any principles, they will just be attacking each other. Why put a family argument on national television in prime time? I'm sorry, I forgot that it being broadcast by Fox.

This is the political equivalent of professional wrestling. They are going to attack each other for two hours and then meet for lunch tomorrow. That's how Washington works.

It's not even good television. Two hours of this will leave me longing for a Jerry Springer rerun.

Unless you are actively involved in hiring people, you won't realize or understand how the hiring process has evolved over the last fifty years. There are more questions that you can't ask during an interview than you can ask. In interviewing people who were actually seeking employment and didn't just need me to sign a form acknowledging that they had applied for a job, I always ended with this statement, "Tell me why I should hire you."

That's what I want to know about the candidates tonight. But that's not what's coming tonight. The candidates will all speak briefly about what they will do as President and then attack someone higher up the debate stage than them. Infighting is not a good sight. All you are doing is furnishing Democrats and their partners in the media with sound bites. If Republicans want to win as a team, we probably need to act like a team.

"Tell me why I should hire you." They need to give me their vision, not tell me that Chris Christie is an overweight buffoon or that the average American can't find North Dakota on a map and certainly doesn't know their governor. You won't get the job by telling me bad stuff about the other guys (and girls) who have applied. Plus, I have already heard most of those insults, if I have not already used them.

So, what should they do? The moderators should start with a simple statement. "Resolved: That Joe Biden or JRB Ware, is a demented, liberal, crooked politician whose administration is destroying the future of the United States.  Tell us what you would do as President of the United States to reverse the process of national self-destruction that Biden has put into place."  Then give each speaker ten minutes. When the last speaker has given their vision, the show is over. If you have a live audience, let them vote on who to hire. 

Can Politicians Read?

 Back in the Stone Age when I was growing up, we all learned to read in school. If you couldn't read, you didn't graduate. Sometime in the last 50 years, the government ran ads claiming, "Reading is Fundamental".  The government has long since abandoned that idea.

Now, in the name of equity, we encourage people to be stupid. We don't care if our children can read, write or add. Just as long as they all get the same grades, the government is happy. As long as they are free to make up words for "their pronouns", everything will be fine. 

Ours is a society engaged in the pursuit of mediocrity. My latest example of this is the Fulton County District Attorney who has indicted Donald Trump and 18 others in her quest to make challenging elections a criminal offense. She also seeks to end free speech if it involves an election. I challenge both her legal and mental qualifications. 

The DA, that's District Attorney or Dumb Ass, you pick, seeks to try all 19 defendants in the same court at the same time. This is an act of such incredible stupidity that it defies belief.

While I realize that I am probably a generation ahead of the mindless DA, I am compelled to ask a single question about this idea. Woman, have you ever heard of the Chicago Seven? If you have not, get your ass to a library and get some reading material on the Chicago Seven. If you have heard of them, get your ass to a mental health professional or a real lawyer for some advice.

Trying Trump and 18 other defendants at the same time will make the Chicago Seven look like a day in traffic court. For starters, I doubt that the logistics of fitting nineteen defendants and their legal teams plus the Secret Service detachment into a courtroom at the Fulton County courthouse can be handled. Your first step should be to move that trial to the Georgia Dome.

I am fascinated by prosecutors who take years to assemble "evidence" and then want to go to trial in sixty days. The defense should be entitled to an equal amount of time to prepare. Of course, that would not achieve your real goal of interfering with the 2024 Presidential Election. 

I forgot that the Dumb Ass also wants the case to be televised. Even in Chicago, they did not televise the circus. This shows that Democrats get dumber by the day.

The trial of the Chicago Seven was an absolute circus. Before it was over Judge Hoffman had cited all of the defendants and most of their lawyers for contempt of court. The trial took over four months. Five of the defendants were found guilty of crossing state lines to incite a riot.

Everything was appealed to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, where the contempt cases were either overturned or remanded to a different judge for trial. The judge and the prosecutors were censured for their behavior. After more than two years, every criminal conviction was overturned. So, the country spent a fortune to stage a circus when Ringling Brothers was still available for people to watch at a bargain price.

How do you think a trial with nineteen defendants and thirty or more attorneys is going to go? Based on previous large trials, it won't go well. Of course, one would have to have read about past similar trials to know that fact. 

History is circular, the future is in the past. 

Maui Wowie??

 First thing, yesterday's post about the New York City "Skip the Stuff" law was my one thousandth post on this blog. I would like to thank liberals for the longevity of this blog as I thought it would only last about a year. Those folks keep my blood pressure up and the insults flowing. If they hadn't elected Obama and Biden, I would be assembling model ships or something as a hobby now. Thanks for reading!!

Yesterday in Maui, Biden hit a new low in Presidential speaking. While addressing a group at the site of fires that have destroyed a community, killed more than a hundred and left more than a thousand people missing, Biden decided that one of his tall tales would comfort them. 

He told a story about a fire in the kitchen of his Delaware home that was put out in twenty minutes. He said that he almost lost his wife, his 1967 Corvette and his cat. He smiled when he mentioned his Corvette. Incredibly, this demented son of a bitch thought that this story would somehow comfort a group of people who have lost their friends, their families, their homes and their businesses to a fire. Are you shitting me, Joe?

Why didn't someone on his staff stop this story from being told? Do they not have some kind of a buzzer that they can shock him with to stop his speaking? Could Jill not fake a heart attack and collapse?  Why didn't any of the local officials call his crazy ass out on that speech? Where are all of the media experts on this? Maui Wowie is no longer just some strain of marijuana, it's Joe Biden's stupid remarks in Maui. WOW!!

This is Joe Biden's America. A mentally ill person is running the nation, and no one will speak out lest they lose their position in the loon's administration.  Where are all of the liberals who wanted to use the 25th Amendment to remove Trump? Where have all the sane folks gone??

Liberals are so desperate to remain in power that they are willing to destroy the nation. It's more important that they rule than the country survives. Why is it more important to send money to the Ukraine than to our own citizens in Hawaii? Who decided that $700 per family was even worth sending? Charity starts at home.

"Skip the Stuff" is Stupid

 New York City has passed a "Skip the Stuff" bill. This bill is aimed at reducing plastic waste associated with carryout food orders. Restaurants and delivery services will be fined for putting items like condiments and utensils in carryout orders that are not requested by the customers. 

This is a law written by and pushed by people who have never worked in a restaurant. They don't even have a clue about how the carryout food business operates. The people involved in passing this environmentally friendly, yet human being hostile bill don't know anything about the average carryout consumer.

I can tell without looking at a picture, that this bill was crafted by a group of guilt-ridden white liberal activists with the appropriate number of minorities included to make it look right. I can also tell you that there is a pattern in condiment and carryout utensil needs requested by customers that can be defined by racial and socio-economic characteristics. 

In 1975 I ran a Waffle House at the Golfair Boulevard exit on I-95 in Jacksonville, Florida for a couple of months while trying to train a new manager. About 30% of our business was carryout. On weekends, the percentage was even higher. This was at the height of the CB radio craze. People would get carryout orders and then sit in their cars in the parking lot and talk to their friends in the parking lot on their CB radios. Before leaving, they would throw the trash from their orders out onto the pavement. I ran the only Waffle House that had an employee whose job it was to spend two or three hours every morning cleaning the parking lot. No customer ever came back inside and said, "You gave me too many napkins." or "Here's that extra straw back."

In over fifty (50) years in the restaurant business, absolutely NOBODY ever called and told me "You gave me too many condiments." That's no one, no person, zero, zilch, nada, the null set, not a soul. By now even the slow among you can get the picture. However, I had more calls than I can count about not enough condiments or not enough utensils. 

The "Skip the Stuff" bill is a jobs program. To prevent being fined, restaurants will have to hire someone just to take care of the condiment situation. This will require an increase in prices to reduce the amount of condiments and utensils being distributed.

This is a typical government decision. It attacks a problem that only a few dumbasses in the government can imagine exists. The same government that banned everything but takeout during COVID, now wants to destroy takeout. Gilbert's Law says, "There is nothing in your life so small that the government doesn't want to control it."

If the government believes that carryout orders all contain the straws that will break the camel's back, why not just put a $1 "environmental charge" on straws? Why not treat straws like tires? When you buy tires, they make you pay a disposal fee. Why won't the government tax straws?  Because the demographics of straw users are the same as those of the swing voters that keep liberals in power. 

Why doesn't New York City just ban takeout orders? Why doesn't the city fight crime as boldly as they fight straws and extra ketchup? See paragraph above!

Are extra condiments evil? I just checked the drawer in our kitchen where I keep extra condiments. There are 8 packs of BBQ sauce, 5 packs of ketchup, 6 packs of teriyaki sauce and a couple of plastic spoons. I don't have to open a new bottle of sauce if all I need is enough for one sandwich. If I lived in New York City, the police would be staking out the house.  Memo to self: Pick up a couple of straws at Cookout.

Political Pontification

 I voted for Doanld Trump in 2016 and 2020. I attended two Trump rallies in Greensboro and another one in Greenville, NC that year. I also supported Trump in 2020 as well. Having said all of that, I didn't want Trump to run in 2024.

I didn't want Trump to run this year because I am not sure that he can win. It has nothing to do with his performance as a President. I don't want Trump to run because I believe that Trump Derangement Syndrome is real. People hate Trump without any logical thought process. They don't know why; they just know they hate Trump. I believe that half of the people who voted for Biden did not actually support Biden. They just had to vote against Trump. They will do the same thing in 2024.

I have asked a bunch of folks why they hate Trump. They can't put it into words, they just hate Trump. I have asked a few folks, "What is it you hate about Trump? Is it the tax cuts? Is it the booming economy? Is it the lack of a war? What is it?" No one has an answer. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real mental disorder that causes people to act irrationally and vote for demented Democrats.

If anyone should know, Donald Trump should know, "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public." H.L. Mencken authored that quote and surely Donald Trump should be familiar with it. The election of Joe Biden proved Mencken was right.

As long as I am pontificating, I don't think that Joe Biden will make it to the election of 2024 as the Democratic candidate. His mental condition deteriorates more every day and soon they will be unable to hide it. 'There is a rumor that Michelle Obama will run if Biden drops out. I would love to see Big Mike run! She is a sarcasm writer's dream candidate. Maybe Barack will come out as gay to help her campaign? 

While I will support Trump if/when he is the nominee, I am not doing that in the primary elections. Who am I going to support in the Republican primaries? I like Ron DeSantis, but he's not my pick. I have settled on Vivek Ramaswamy as my candidate. While some of you are catching your breath and clutching your chest, let me explain why I like him. Bear in mind that the primaries are months away and I am able to change my mind.

Ramaswamy is an outsider, he hasn't held political office before. I think that it is time to turn the country over to some younger people. The country is being run now by a bunch of guys like Biden who have spent their lives in Washington and in politics. I will turn 70 in a few weeks and in Washington they would call me "Kid". Let's get some fresh ideas and move the seat of the federal government to the plains of Kansas. Don't waste your time trying to drain the swamp. Burn the house and go west, young man!!

One of my favorite ideas from Ramaswamy is that we as a nation are suffering from oppression by a minute minority. Two or three percent of the country are sexual deviants who demand that the rest of us get on the "preferred pronoun" bandwagon. It's okay that you are insane, but I'm unwilling to play along. The government should stay out of this and let it die a natural death.

Anyway, right now Ramaswamy is my candidate of choice. I will keep you posted on any course corrections. In the meanwhile, Viva Vivek!!

Random Rants

 I went to Fantasy Land today. Yes, I went to the Barnes & Noble bookstore at Friendly Center in Greensboro.  Twenty years ago, I used to stop there a couple of times a week. Of course, that was a different time in a different place. We have both changed a lot in twenty years. I think this was my second visit since 2012. Ten feet inside the door, I remembered why I stopped going to Barnes and Noble. 

They had a table filled with books with a sign that read "Banned Books". I was left wondering that if the books had indeed been banned, why were they there for sale? I was not curious enough to ask an employee about this.

I looked around and realized that in their passionate desire to display their self-righteousness by stocking banned books, they neglected their own censorship practices. There are no gun magazines for sale at Barnes and Noble. You can buy hunting and fishing magazines but not gun magazines. They banned gun magazines years ago despite there never being a mass shooter who claimed he was inspired by a gun magazine purchased at Barnes & Noble. To sum it up, they ban gun magazines while criticizing others for banning books. What's the hypocrisy index rating of this practice?

Judging by the appearance of many of the patrons, one might surmise that they were holding tryouts for the circus. Sorry, I forgot that Ringling Brothers had shut down. I mistakenly assumed that the clowns had left town.

It wasn't the Barnes & Noble that I knew years ago. Now, they have shelves filled with "graphic novels" or "comic books" as we used to call them. I am sorry, but I prefer Archie, Betty, Veronica, Beetle Bailey and Thor.

There were many racks of books labeled "Manga". Afraid to actually touch them, I resolved to research them when I got home.  At home, surrounded by history and science books, I looked up "manga books" on Mr. Google. It turns out that they originated in Japan and are basically just another variant of comic books. Pardon me, they are another variety of "graphic novels" / "Comic books". I remember when we tried to get our kids to read books with words. At least, they weren't 18 when this happened, I think they were 4. I left B&N pretty quickly. I rushed home and held "A Brigade of South Carolinians" by J.F.J. Caldwell before hacking out this post. Having held a real book, I feel better.

In things not involving a 21st Century Bookstore, these thoughts. Why don't women identify as men so they can play men's sports? What if a woman did use the men's locker room? Wouldn't some big brassy bull dyke trans man be a laugh in the locker room? Can you imagine the insults? "Hey big fella! You didn't need a cup to protect that. You could have used a thimble." What's in that sack, a pair of dice?" "That's not a schlong, that's a short!" Where's Rosie O'Donnell when you need her? Maybe Roseanne Barr will go over to the other side, just for a day. We all know that won't happen,

In trying to get some of Joe Biden's emails from the National Archives, Comgressional Republicans have found that Joe Biden has been copying emails to names that in fact are pseudonyms that Biden has created. These fake names include Robert L. Peters, Robin Ware and JRB Ware. Joe scores no points for creativity. He's certainly no Pierre Delecto. Thanks, Mitt, for using that one on Twitter!!

We know that the National Archives has these emails, otherwise they would have had the FBI raid Biden's home and then have him indicted. If it works on Trump, then it must work on Biden??

My wife had surgery on her neck several weeks ago. She had to go back to the surgeon today for a recheck. The orthopedic clinic was filled with people who have been crippled by exercise. Should we rethink think this whole exercise thing? Just a personal point of view, but if I am the healthiest guy in the room, we need to regroup.

I'm a year late on this one, but I found out that one of my favorite authors passed away last year. He was Roger Welsch, who had written more books than I can name, but I will name a few.  His books include "Love, Sex and Tractors", "Everything I know about Women, I Learned from My Tractor," "Diggin' in and Piggin' Out, the truth about men and Food" and about two dozen other titles. He also did "Postcards from Nebraska," a feature for years on CBS Sunday Morning. Charles Kuralt called Welsch "America's Storyteller". I am saddened by his departure, but I will pull out some of his books and get some good laughs in his memory. 

Last shot! Biden is scheduled to attend the G-20 Summit in India in September.  Is he going on Air Force One or is he taking that Transpacific railroad to India that he said we are building??

LB Joe??

 They say that Lyndon Johnson used to tell people to drop money through the transom window of his office so that no one could say that they had seen him take a bribe.  Joe Biden is not LBJ smart. He had his son pay his bills instead. Why would someone's child pay his father's bills, especially if his father was Vice President of the United States? Inquiring minds (which excludes all mainstream media reporters) want to know. The Democrats are waiting for someone to have a picture of Joe at the bank with a check made out to "The Big Guy" before they will believe that Joe is taking bribes.

Joe isn't as sophisticated as the Clintons and the Obamas. They waited until after they left office to start raking in the big money. What happened to all of those books and movies that the Obamas were going to produce? All of that money was just delayed payment bribes. Where does the Clinton Foundation distribute their funds? Seen any signs in economically distressed areas proclaiming that the Clinton Foundation is financing a project? Maybe the New York Attorney General has time now to see how the Clinton Foundation operates? Back in the 1990's, the American Spectator ran a series of articles about "TrooperGate" that reported on Hillary's actions around the governor's house in Arkansas. She was a bitch even then. Her attitude is not anything new.

Do you think that Obama is actually running the country? The nation is showing all of the signs with the lousy economy and the growing racial divide. I read that Obama is the only President, other than the stroke-impaired Woodrow Wilson, who has remained in Washington after his term expired. Obama claimed that they were waiting for his daughters to finish school. That ran out several years ago and the Obamas still remain in DC. Writer David Samuels points out that there are over a thousand reporters in Washington and not a one has staked out Obama's house to see who comes and goes. Are they really that disinterested, or do they know? 

If you don't believe that Obama is calling the shots, who is? Don't even waste your breath telling me that it is Joe Biden. It might be Jill Biden, but it isn't Joe. Have we completed our imitation of the Soviet Union and are now running the country with a committee? 

Some rag is running a story about how Tommy Tuberville is still getting royalties from the "Blind Side" movie. When they finish with that, maybe they can do a story about people at the NIH are getting millions of dollars in royalties from different drugs they developed. This for work they did as government employees.

Murkowski and Romney vote with the Democrats way too much. They just need to go ahead and go over to the other side. It's not like it will make a difference in the voting anyway. If we can catch McConnell on one of his coherent days, have a real Republican explain this idea to him.

The Hawaiians now understand the old joke that ends with "We're from the government and we are here to help". Hang tough guys!! Biden will be there Monday, if he doesn't fall down the steps somewhere. I hope you haven't already spent that $700 per family that's coming to a mailbox soon. That is, if your mailbox didn't burn.

Missing Lyndon LaRouche??

On the days that Democrats are on television expressing the degree to which they loathe Donald Trump, I miss the days that Lyndon LaRouche campaigned for the presidency. I believe that it was in the 1980 campaign that LaRouche described Ed Muskie as "a stooge of the Soviet KGB". There was nothing else like turning on the television and seeing an hour of Lyndon LaRouche uncensored. That was one of the nicer things he said. Here are a couple of Lyndon Larouche quotes.

"In politics, when you become serious, you become a threat to somebody. And they usually aren't too nice about it."

"If you look at the history of Obama, with the crimes he's committed, in office, publicly, and gotten by with that, you understand two things: First of all, that he's a criminal, really, by any standard of decency, and he's a great liar."

Larouche was also a proponent of the October Surprise theory that the Iranians were going to hold the American hostages until Reagan was inaugurated and then release them. Despite his idea being widely scorned and ridiculed, that is exactly what happened.

LaRouche used to say incredible things in his campaign appearances. LaRouche took advantage of the Supreme Court's affirmation of the ruling that "Political speech is Protected Speech". Evidently the Fulton County DA, Dumb Ass, is unfamiliar with this concept of protected speech and is trying to convict Donald Trump on charges that he made false statements about elections. I am not a constitutional attorney, but this doesn't smell right to me.

The federal government ended up jailing LaRouche years later on a mail fraud charge. LaRouche once shared a cell with Jim Bakker of PTL fame and fortune. Bakker wrote that LaRouche got an intelligence briefing every day in the mail and seemed to know things days before they happened. 

In 1995, former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark sent a letter to Clinton Attorney General and Bull Dyke, Janet Reno. Here's the first paragraph:

Dear Attorney General Reno,

I have been an attorney in this case since shortly after the defendants were sentenced in January 1990 and appeared as co- counsel on appeal and on the subsequent motions and appeals in proceedings under 28 U.S. C. sec. 2255 and F.R. Cr.P. Rule 33. I bring this matter to you directly, because I believe it involves a broader range of deliberate and systematic misconduct and abuse of power over a longer period of time in an effort to destroy a political movement and leader, than any other federal prosecution in my time or to my knowledge. Three courts have now condemned the Department's conduct in this prosecutorial campaign. The result has been a tragic miscarriage of justice which at this time can only be corrected by an objective review and courageous action by the Department of Justice.

As I have said often, history is circular. One needs to look no further than Donald Trump to see the same government machine at work to destroy a political opponent.

Joe Biden has said that he made a lot of money after leaving the Vice Presidency by giving speeches and writing books. Why would anyone paid Biden $100,000 to make a speech when you could get the guy whose speech he plagiarized, to give it for $5,000? Which Biden books have you read? I heard that he wrote a children's book called "Joe and Jill". Spoiler alert!! They both fall down the hill.

In a speech yesterday, Screaming Joe said, "Name me a single objective we’ve ever set out to accomplish that we’ve failed on. Name me one, in all of our history." If you insist, Bozo, here's a starter list. I haven't got the space to go back 250 years.

Wet & Wild Wednesday Wit

Before the Fulton County grand jury had finished interviewing witnesses, a document announcing Trump's indictment was posted on the court's website. Nothing says "The fix is in" like a premature announcement. What are the odds that tomorrow they will announce Trump's conviction on those charges? Justice is way overrated?  

The Fulton County DA seeks to make contesting an election illegal. Why didn't she start with Stacey Abrams? Hillary Clinton still claims she won in 2016. Jimmy Carter claims that Trump did not win in 2016. Has Jimmy or Hillary been indicted?

If the DA lusts to indict people who interfere with elections, go down the street to CNN. You will find all of the false election information that you can carry back to the office at that location. Why doesn't she investigate what the Democrats are doing to RFK Jr? Isn't that election interference? 

The DA claims that Trump telling people to watch a television show about the Georgia election was part of the conspiracy and a crime. The real criminal conspiracy going on in this nation is the Democrats conspiring to interfere with the 2024 election. I am sure that it is only a coincidence, but isn't Atlanta hosting the Democratic convention in 2024? Will field trips to Trump's trial be on the calendar at the convention? 

RICO statutes were passed to prosecute gangsters, now we use them for people challenging election results. Jack Smith charged Trump with violating a law passed more than 150 years ago to combat the Klan. Brain Tumor Bragg in New York can't explain what law he used to indict Trump. How long before Trump files suit for them violating his rights with frivolous charges?

In Florida, Smith used an out of state grand jury to charge Trump with violating the Espionage Act. Why is this even legal? You can indict every white guy in the nation if you use D.C. grand juries. Trump had the power and the right to declassify any or all of those documents without checking with Jack Smith. Jack Smith is just Sheriff Ed Earl in the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Nobody said it better than Miss Mona, "You're just a chicken shit sheriff in a chicken shit town!" Write that down, Jack!! 

Jack Smith has a lengthy record of having failures in cases of charging public officials. In 2016, his conviction of former Virginia governor Robert McDonnell was overturned by a unanimous decision of the United States Supreme Court. Smith seems to specialize in leaks to the Washington Post. As long as we are on that subject, how does the New York Times always get the stories about Trump that are leaked? Maybe we need to investigate the DOJ to see how many people there are on the Times payroll. Maybe Jack could get some convictions there.

How's that investigation into Biden's secret papers going? How many of those documents did Biden lawfully possess? 

The House needs to end financing for Jack Smith's operation with the end of the fiscal year on September 30.  That's not good enough. Cut the funding for the DOJ by 50%. 

Banks around the world have had their computers hacked, yet we are told that voting machines cannot be hacked. I am thinking that a guy who can hack a Bank of America computer can probably get into a voting machine. But someone would have to look to find that problem. 

The people who are charging Trump with interfering in the 2020 election are interfering in the 2024 election. Trump was impeached after he left office. Who knew that would only be the first in a long series of stupid charges? 

The very existence of the Democratic Party today is based on a single question. Can we keep Trump from winning in 2024? Maybe they should just put forward a Presidential candidate who is semi-coherent? If they run another guy who is going to "unify" the nation, the country is doomed.

Ma Garland appointed David Weiss as the "Special Counsel" in the Hunter Biden case. He ignored the law requiring that he appoint someone from outside the government. Garland claims that his excuse for this is that someone else has appointed Special Counsels from within the government. Mom said it best, "If Johnny jumps off a cliff, are you jumping too?"

The only thing that David Weiss has done in more than four years is put together that absurd plea deal for Hunter. We should be paying him only for work actually done. A law school dropout could do a better job. 

Here's a simple question for the simpleton in the White House. What national interest of the United States was served by him demanding that the Ukrainian prosecutor be fired? Are they firing people now to get additional billions of dollars in aid? In how many other countries did Biden decide who the government hired? Asking for the reporters without the brains or balls to ask these questions.

The Biden Administration has announced that every family involved in the Maui fire will get a check for $700. WOW! Lose your home and get $700 bucks from Uncle Joe. Maybe if the Hawaiians would "identify" as illegal immigrants or even as Ukrainians they could get more help than that from the government.  

Of course, by next week Dementia Joe will be telling reporters that he was at that fire in Hawaii. I think that Joe and Nelson Mandela teamed up to work one of the fire hoses and actually put out the fire.

Why do most of the folks doing all of these smash and grab thefts in California look like they are all related? This is what happens when you legalize theft.  This is incontrovertible evidence that Gavin Newsome is a moron, and that California is America's Shithole State. We will just abbreviate America's Shithole State as ASS.

RMOL Rates Hate?

 It's not easy being the chief loon at Random Moments of Lunacy. Actually, since it is a one man show, it's really pretty easy to be the loon. I am fascinated by the left who label everyone with whom they deal as "haters." Am I a hater? Yes, but aren't we all? Liberals hate everyone and everything conservative, but they claim that they are not haters. It is funny how that works. It reminds me of an employee years ago who had a bumper sticker on her car that read "Mean People Suck". I asked her "Isn't it mean to tell someone they suck?". She tried to argue with me but failed. After that day, she never came back to work.

So, today's post is about groups of people who profess to love but call everyone else haters. We will start with the big haters.

1. The Southern Poverty Law Center.    The SPLC is the gold standard for hate groups. You know this is true because they are busy labeling every conservative or religious group in America as a "hate group". They have labeled so many organizations as "hate groups" that "hate groups" has lost all meaning. 

The Southern Poverty Law Center actually has nothing to do with "Poverty". They operate in a building referred to as "The Poverty Palace" by their own employees. They have assets of more than $475 million. They abhor racism everywhere but in their own organization. They may be more serious about sexual issues since they fired their founder, Morris Dees. There are rumors that Morris took too many dips in the secretarial pool.

The SPLC is basically a training ground for liberal extremists. At the SLPC, they learn the phrases that will excite leftists to give their money to the SPLC and add to their huge endowment.  Before you blow off that idea about fundraising, I should tell you that Morris Dees was the king of direct mail marketing. He and his business partner, Millard Fuller used it in their businesses in their college days and afterwards. They were also in the church cookbook printing business. Morris may have been a degenerate, but he knew how to raise money and he instilled that knowledge at the SPLC, His college business partner Millard Fuller went on to found Habitat for Humanity. Morris Dees may actually have done some good work against the KKK in the early days, but like my hair, those days are long gone.

2. The DOJ   The DOJ is America's largest hate group. Their funding is almost unlimited as is their capacity to violate the laws that they are charged with enforcing. Their enforcement group, the FBI, plays the role of the Gestapo to Biden's role as Hitler. Biden wants to exterminate conservatives. The only problem is that Dementia Joe can't remember why. Ma Garland is reportedly in charge at the DOJ, but he repeatedly denies any knowledge of what is happening there. The FBI routinely kills those who oppose their message. Ask the folks at Waco or Ruby Ridge. How about the 75-year-old guy they killed last week for issuing threats against Biden. Their M.O is to use heavily armed SWAT teams in a pre-dawn raid. Then when the terrified homeowner pulls out a gun, they kill him to avoid the trouble of a trial. When they raided Roger Stone's house a few years ago, they even had a scuba diver in the water in case Stone tried to swim away. Yes, that's overkill, but that's how the FBI operates. They are supposed to enforce the laws, not violate them.

It is probably just a coincidence, but the DOJ and the KKK both came into existence in the same time frame. 

3. The Democratic Party.  The Democratic Party is busy right now trying to destroy one of their own. They are trying to censor a challenge to King Joe by Robert Kennedy Jr.  Kennedy's father and uncle were both assassinated in their political careers. That's ancient history for modern day Democrats as they cry "What have you done for us lately?" Kennedy's big problem is that he believes in freedom of speech. Those who support Biden, the Halfwit Hitler, are opposed to free speech for anyone other than themselves.

Nobody can hate like a liberal. Nobody can lie about hating like a Democrat.

4. Liberal Media Sources.  I realize that "liberal media" is redundant, but I will say it anyway. Whether it is MSNBC, NBC, CBS, CNN, or ABC it is all leftist swill. When Trump decide to run for President in 2016, these media outlets gave up even the pretense of objectivity. It Trump said it or did it, it must be wrong. These guys are so one sided in their reporting that I find myself missing Dan Rather. In the old days on television, an editorial would be clearly labeled as such. Now it would be easier just to tell us which stories aren't editorials. The answer to all of this was found with Joe Friday on Dragnet, "Just the facts, Ma'am. Just the facts."

So where does all of this end up? It's hateful to label other people as "hate groups". By labeling others as hate groups, you are doing the same thing to others that you allege to despise. Mean People Suck?

From Washington, DC comes the "news" that Christopher Wray lied in his last appearance before the House Judiciary Committee.  If his lips are moving, he's lying. He works in the most corrupt department in the federal government, the Department of Injustice. The DOJ is so corrupt that the Pentagon sends people to the DOJ to learn how to lie or to improve their delivery on lies.

I am amazed at the time management skills of the Fulton County District Attorney. With a city overrun with serious crimes, she found enough time to put together another bullshit case involving Donald Trump. The Atlanta Braves didn't move to Cobb County to be closer to criminals. 

Hauled a truckload of my finest wares to the 311 Flea Market in Sophia, NC yesterday. Yes, it was hot. It was a good sales day, and I was still able to wrap it up and leave around 11:00 AM. I didn't see anyone with a "Biden" hat or shirt, but there was a guy wearing a Clinton-Gore shirt and a MAGA hat. You don't see that many schizophrenics at a flea market. 

What do I hate about flea markets? The pricks who watch American Pickers, Pawn Stars or Storage Wars and think that reality shows are real life. WARNING!! If you tell me that I need to "leave some meat on the bone", I am throwing your ass out of my space. I am a retailer, not a wholesaler. I don't mind negotiating on some stuff but if I tell you the price is firm, the price is firm. No one who needs to know this will read this blog, so I am just ranting.

I am tired of television ads for electric vehicles. I will believe in electric vehicles when Duke Power no longer needs to control my air conditioner at peak usage periods. 

The Biden administration wants us to import everything we need to provide energy in this country. We don't want to use our own resources; we want to be at the mercy of foreign countries for our energy needs. Does anyone in government remember the Arab oil embargo??

From the "Don't you ever throw anything away file?" comes some comments from Russell Baker in a 1973 newspaper clipping about the "energy crisis". Some things never change.

Russell wrote several questions and answers about the "energy crisis". I am going to quote a couple of them. You can decide on their relevance to current events. Remember, these are 50-year-old comments.

A. The energy crisis is the finest all-purpose alibi in America today. If you can't deliver the goods, it is because of the energy crisis. If you want to raise prices, it is necessitated by the energy crisis. If you want to cancel a visit with your wife's relatives, tell them, "Sorry, it's the energy crisis." If your children bump into you leaving a pornographic movie house, just explain that it's the energy crisis.

Q. Why was the energy crisis begun at this time, just as I was finally beginning to get interested in Watergate?

A. The government reasoned that since fewer and fewer people believed anything that the government said anymore it should hold the energy crisis right away while there were still a few people left to believe in it. 

In closing, there was a cartoon above the column that showed a couple in a cave sitting on rocks and watching television. The caption read, "Seems there will always be enough power to broadcast the latest crisis message."

Smartphones and the End of Civilization

 When the book about the collapse of civilization is written in a few years, "smartphones" will be the cause of the collapse. 

Regular readers should not be surprised by my hatred of smartphones. They are a regular target of my comments here. Why do I hate smartphones? Because people don't know anything anymore and cannot function without whipping out their phones. 

When my kids were in school in the 1990's and early 2000's. they were not allowed to use a calculator in math class. Why? Because they needed to learn how to do math. Teachers would say, "You aren't always going to have a calculator with you.". Now you do with your phone. I wrote in an earlier post about a school where no fifth grader can pass the state math test. I am willing to bet that they all have a smartphone. Smartphones=stupid students. Do the math!!

A couple of months ago, I was out for lunch with some friends. The waitress brought the checks and a friend whipped out his phone. I looked at him and asked, "Are you calling the bank to see if you have enough to pay the check?" I am really understanding about things like that. Sure! Anyway, he told me that he was trying to figure out what a 20% tip would be so he could put it on the charge slip. Stunned, I said "Your bill is $19.86. Ten percent of that is about $2.00. Twenty per cent will be about $4.00. Leave her $4.00 and let's get moving!" I sat through math classes in several years with this guy and I am sure that he knew how to do math at one point. 

Why don't people know math now? It's really pretty simple. The easy access to a calculator prevents your brain from exercising. It's like having a healthy person walk with a crutch all of the time. After a few weeks, they can't walk without the crutch. If you don't exercise your mind, it turns to mush. 

Another point of my hatred is the GPS function of your phone. Why bother learning where you are when the magic box can tell you? The problem is that the information in the magic box has not all been field tested. I am told that only a very small percentage of GPS info is faulty. The bad news is that if that small portion is part of your route, it is a big problem.

Here's my best GPS failure story. Last year, my beloved and I were headed to Louisiana. We were on I-20 in South Carolina and had traveled a few hours from home. My wife suggested that it was about time for a stop. I told her that there was a Love's Travel Center about 15 miles away and we would stop there. She pulled out her magic phone and located the Love's on the GPS. She told me that it was going to be at the next exit, according to the GPS. I assured her that the Love's was not at the next exit. The GPS and my beloved insisted that it was at the next exit. With the veins in my forehead about to explode, I took that exit. When we got to the light, I asked "Where is the ##**## Love's?". It wasn't at that exit. We got back on I-20 and went to the exit where I knew that Love's was located. After calming down, I explained why I was right, and the magic GPS was wrong. I told her that I had traveled that road several times and always stopped at that Love's. In addition, it was located at the exit for Gilbert, South Carolina. My name is Gilbert. How could I forget that? The GPS remained off for the rest of the trip. 

People don't know anything anymore because they can whip out the magic box and look it up. I love to quote some obscure fact and then have someone say, "How do you know that?" My response is always, "Look it up!" That tends to end most discussions.

So, what's the point of all of this? Humans are no longer thinking and reasoning. We are reduced to swiping and scrolling on the magic box. Break free!! Pick up a book and read. Get a pencil and a piece of paper and do a little math. Sharpen your thinking skills and not your digital dexterity skills. 

I frankly believe that smart phones are bringing Orwell's 1984 to real life. Who knows what the motives are of the people programming those phones? Smartphones are just an indoctrination device. You get the message every time you use it.  Smartphones may be the "number of the beast" written about in the book of Revelation. The Department of Injustice has already proven that cellphones are a tracking device. Who uses that information?  In addition to all of this, most phones are made in China or other foreign countries. Who knows what they are putting into those phones??

The Thirteenth of Never?

 At the Grand Canyon the other day, Brain-Dead Biden (Joe, not Hunter) spoke about the beauty of the Grand Canyon. Joe called it one of the nine wonders of the world. Nine? Yes, nine. While everyone else in the world knows about the Seven Wonders of the World, only a demented old pedophile knows about the nine wonders of the world.

What's the good news in Biden's latest oral error? First, if Trump had said that the media would refer to it as a "lie". But it's Biden, so it is a "gaffe". Second, I have never heard or read of anyone talking about the nine wonders of the world, so Joe probably didn't plagiarize someone else's statement. It was possibly a Biden original. However, acting on the side of caution, we are waiting to hear from Neil Kinnock before giving Biden credit. 

When asked about the "Nine wonders of the world", Pedojoe went wild. "What are you talking about? I have been to the six corners of the world, visited all ten continents, and sailed the eight seas. I do know shit!" He kept screaming as Jill and the Secret Service dragged him off the stage.

What's next for the Dean of Dementia? At the White House Christmas party this year, Pedojoe will lead the crowd in singing, "The Fourteen Days of Christmas". This will be followed by a rousing rendition of "We Four Kings".

Secretary of State Antony Blinken wins the coveted "Brain Dead Biden" Award of the Week. This award goes to the stupidest remark made by an official of the Biden Administration. To be honest, the winner is normally Joe Biden. Here's a "tweet" from Blinken: 

"The United States strongly condemns Russia’s conviction of opposition leader Aleksey Navalny on politically motivated charges. The Kremlin cannot silence the truth. Navalny should be released."

Did Blinken hit "send" before reading this? Is he blissfully unaware of what is happening with the Department of Joe's war on Donald Trump?

I can only assume that Blinken has not heard about the Biden Administration's persecution of Donald Trump. What log is Blinken sleeping under? Were any brain cells working when Blinken posted this? Did he not get any help from Winkin and Nod on this statement? Just for shits and grins, let's change a few words to see what the truth may actually be.

I'm sorry Blinken, I forgot that it is a "Do as we say, not as we do" situation.

They keep telling us that the judge in the DC trial of Trump was randomly selected. First, "Only God can make a random selection." Let's choose a judge again and this time let an independent entity make the selection in a public setting. The Department of Joe has no credibility. 

One day soon, the Department of Joe and Ma Garland will need a decision from the Supreme Court to silence Trump. Will the Supremes remember that Garland failed to enforce the law about protests at the homes of Justices? The Department of Joe swings no weight at the Supreme Court.

The irony of the DOJ trying to silence Trump from talking about his case involving First Amendment rights is lost on Ma Garland and his band of twits at the Department of Joe. 

Today is National Pickleball Day. I read that this sport is growing in popularity. I know nothing about the game, but I will hazard a guess that pickles don't go well with balls. 

The Biden Administration keeps claiming that it was only pressuring social media companies to keep disinformation and misinformation about COVID vaccines from spreading. The real disinformation came from the government when they claimed that the vaccine would keep you from getting COVID or spreading COVID. How many people who were vaccinated have had COVID more than once? Too many for the information to appear online.

New Center for Disease Control Director Mandy Cohen has a plan to build our trust in the CDC. I didn't trust Cohen when she was Roy Cooper's Secretary of Health and Human Services. She went on television regularly to lie to us all. I still think that her best bet would have been to just scratch her ass and say "Hell, we don't a clue about what's happening." I trust a doctor who has never actually practiced medicine about as much as I trust a mechanic who has never driven a car. She's never treated a single patient but is willing to tell 300 million Americans how they can stay healthy. What could possibly go wrong?

PBSNC Snark Fest

A few weeks ago, I was watching television on a Saturday afternoon and strayed to the PBS NC Channel. The show on was State Lines. It was a knockoff of Front Row, which I later discovered had been cancelled for going too far to the right for PBS. The show followed a similar format as Front Row. It was the host, a Republican, A Democrat, a journalist, and a politics professor from Duke University. It was even duller than I anticipated.  At the end of the show, they asked for viewers to comment and assured folks that every e-mail would be read. 

So, incredibly enough, I sent an e-mail expressing my disappointment with the show. I offered a few suggestions on improving the show. I suggested that rather than using the same types of guests which are politicians, journalists, and alleged political experts and teachers, they change the makeup of the guests. I suggested that they find four or five people from around the state who could put a few sentences together and interview them. Why not get their opinions on politics in North Carolina?

I actually got a response the next day from PBSNC. I was told that they weren't interested in doing a town hall. I had not suggested a town hall, I had suggested four or five regular, non-office holding people. I also suggested they change the participants every month. The writer told me that it is difficult to get regular people to appear on a television show. I was told that they are based in Wake County and that is the center of politics in North Carolina. I was told to let them know if I found a show that met my expectations, and they would look at it.

If you have already guessed that I went into Rapid Response mode, you are correct. I explained that 88% of the North Carolina population lives somewhere other than Wake County. I ranted on, "I will remind you that as PBSNC, you are charged with serving ALL of North Carolina. All 100 counties in the state hold elections. To believe that the only politics that matter are those in your center of operations is the height of arrogance. As Tip O'Neill was famous for saying, 'All politics are local'." 

I had told him in my first note that I was tired of hearing from the rulers, I want to hear from the ruled. I have seen scores of politicians talk about what a great thing the new Toyota battery plant in Liberty is going to be. Have you seen a show where they interview the people who lost their property to the state for the roads needed for the plant? I am willing to bet they don't think the battery plant is a great thing. Just a quick thought on that plant. We are building a battery plant for a foreign company which is going to have to import materials from foreign countries to build batteries to sell us here in the United States. What could possibly go wrong?

I am stunned that PBSNC is so contemptuous of everyday people that they don't think that they can find four or five reasonably intelligent people in a state with a population of ten million. I am going out on a limb here, but I think they are afraid that regular folks won't go along with the politicians. WOW!! Fear of free thought??

Why not have some television shows where they talk to real citizens about how government is working? Do we have to wait for town halls during elections? Can't the network supported by taxes and donations from the public air a couple of shows where average people air their views and grievances? Why is the government afraid of hearing from the public? Why isn't public television listening to the public?

PBS is a bastion of leftists from the news to the programming. If you have ever seen a favorable show about Donald Trump on PBS, send word immediately. The folks at PBS couldn't find the middle of the road if you painted the white lines on their asses. 

Let's end government funding of PBS. That which deserves to survive, does. 

Monday Morning Mania

 When we will be jailing Ma Garland for obstruction of justice in the Biden Industries corruption scandal? Nixon AG John Mitchell went to prison for 19 months for similar charges. Of course, John may have just needed to get away from his wife Martha, for a little quiet time.

Former Baltimore Police Commissioner Darryl De Sousa went to Federal prison a few years ago for ten months for not paying $67 thousand in income taxes. The Justice Department wants Hunter Biden to get probation for not paying more than one million dollars in income taxes. The same dumbass Democrats who claim they want equal treatment for all, want a white guy to get out free while a black guy went to prison for a lesser amount of taxes. Where are all of the liberal voices for equity? What happened to equal justice?  Why aren't the television networks all over this? No one wants to point out the obvious!!

So, at the end of the day, the question is this, are they giving Hunter Biden a free pass because he is Joe Biden's son or they doing it because he is white? Asking for a black friend.

Why doesn't Congress look at tax cases and see how many people got no prison time for failing to pay more than a million dollars in income taxes? Ask your Congressman.

Democrats want everyone to pay their taxes and obey gun laws. For liberals, everyone does not include people with the last name of Biden.

Cornel West is a Democratic candidate for President. Wikipedia describes him as a "public intellectual". Who writes that shit on Wikipedia? Wikipedia is for those people who lost their copy of Encyclopedia Moronica. But back to my story. Cornel West wants to raise taxes to heights no working person would suggest. West is obviously a liberal as he owes the IRS more than half a million dollars in unpaid taxes. Yep! The guy who wants higher taxes has not actually paid his own taxes.

I picked up a Udall For President pin/button the other day. Before that brain fart overwhelms you, let me help you. Morris Udall was a Democrat who ran against Jimmy Carter in 1976. 

Memo to the Justice Department: Former President Jimmy Carter is on video saying that Donald Trump did NOT win the election of 2016. Hurry up and indict him before he dies. 

If you are old enough to remember the empty cans sold in tourist traps as cans of "Florida Sunshine", you are old enough to appreciate my newest product. I will be hustling empty cans as "Filled with the products of Biden Industries". On second thought, maybe some horse manure in each can would be more accurate? Coming to a Cracker Barrel near you. If you disagree with this, just tell me what product the Bidens are selling.

Closing thought, what would politics in America be like if Howard Cosell was still around to cover politics instead of sports? Imagine Cosell describing Biden's fall off a bicycle. How about Cosell covering an announcement by Biden? "Will the President find his way off the stage today? Is the Secret Service prepared to walk him off? What is your thought Dandy Don?"

DOJ Department of Joe?

Has the Department of Justice become the Department of Joe? For the slow among you, we are talking about Joe Biden.

You won't find it on the major networks, but the Internet is alive with calendars showing that every time a Biden gets in trouble, the Justice Department does something to Donald Trump. After the first time, it can't be passed off as a coincidence.

I am reluctant to criticize the leadership at the Department of Justice, but I will just point out that when Joe Biden farts, Merrick Garland is the first to know. Periodically, Merrick should remove his head from Biden's ass long enough to see what is happening in the Department of Justice. Then he might be able to answer members of Congress when they question him about activities at the DOJ. 

America wants to know, What the hell is going on at the DOJ and why are they doing these things? Lady Justice is supposed to be blind, not corrupt and mentally retarded. 

The DOJ is not advocating for justice for all, they are giving Democrats whatever they want. At the least, they should at least offer the illusion of fairness. They don't even bother to fake impartiality. Then, when questioned by members of Congress, DOJ leaders and employees all develop amnesia.

No "leaders" at the DOJ seem to know what is going on in their department. Ma Garland doesn't know what his US Attorneys are doing, and Chris Wray doesn't know what FBI agents are doing. Josh Hawley showed Ma Garland pictures of a SWAT team at a misdemeanor arrest and asked Garland what happened. Garland claimed that he disagreed with Hawley's description. Hawley asked what he disagreed with, and Garland was unable to answer. Garland and Wray blame everything thing on other nameless folks at the Department of Joe. They do not understand that "leadership" concept. If Congress had any balls, they would just zero out the budget line for the Department of Joe. 

What's the difference between the FBI and the KGB? The initials. What's the difference between the FBI and the Gestapo? The Gestapo never used tanks against German citizens. 

The team of Ma Garland and Chris Wray do not grasp the concept of responsibility. Garland told a questioner that there were 120,000 employees in the Department of Joe. That's the only fact that Garland has in his inventory. That is Garland's reason for not answering all of the other questions. 

The Department of Justice is not mentioned in the Constitution. It was established in 1870. It should be disbanded in 2023.  We are never going to be able to change the culture at the Department of Joe. There is but one possible solution. 

It's time to shut this freedom-hating branch of government down. Fire everybody and tear down their headquarters buildings. Destroy every bit of physical evidence of this corrupt culture. Let's give these guys a taste of what they did to American citizens at Waco. What's good for the goose is good for the Department of Joe.

Freedom of Information Friday

 The liberal Moron Mayor of Chicago is demonstrating the insanity of the Democratic Party. After more than 400 young people looted and vandalized a 7/11 in Chicago, he criticized reports that it was a "mob action". The Moron Mayor said that it was a "large gathering" and that it is wrong to label them a mob just because they looted and vandalized a store.

This is another case of Democrats wanting to change our language. Unable to admit that a mob looted a store, he wants to call it a "large gathering". Let's go with that concept. He's not a "mayor", he's a "fairy tale writer". He's incapable of calling a spade a spade. Pun intended.

Fox filed a couple of Freedom of Information Act requests with the FBI and the Secret Service about the White House cocaine story. The Secret Service denied their request. The FBI denied the request saying that it was NOT " a matter of widespread and exceptional media interest in which there exist possible questions about the government’s integrity which affect public confidence." It was only on every network. Dissolve the FBI! Tear down their headquarters and fill a swamp with the debris!! 

KJP, the Press Secretary with the Jiffy Pop hair is going to her grave denying that the Bidens were at the White House on June 30 despite the video that shows Joe and Hunter boarding Marine One that evening. Lie 'til you die, Jiffy Pop!

The Secret Service interviewed no one about the cocaine. After a week, they closed the case and incinerated the cocaine. Right now, Richard Nixon is somewhere thinking, "Damn, I should have done that with those tapes."

That is either a coverup going on in DC or we have the biggest group of morons in the world working there. After writing that, I realized that both of those things could be and probably are true.

I am going out on a limb here, but if I were Joe Biden, I wouldn't be letting anyone charge Trump with conspiracy. There is way too much evidence about Biden talking to Hunter's associates. Conspiracy is basically just talking about something. Here's an example. You ask me, "Do you think we could rob a bank?" I respond, "Yes."  Congratulations! We have just committed "conspiracy". "Conspiracy" is the legal equivalent of "farting". Everybody does it, few get charged. 

After Biden's term as Vice President ended, Burisma cut Hunter's pay by 50%. We don't need to bring Sherlock Holmes back from the grave to figure this one out.

A Democrat acquaintance of mine said " I can't believe that Republicans are going after Biden for $20 million in bribes, look at what the Clintons have taken." I offered to administer a field sobriety test to him, but he turned it down. I guess the truth does eventually come out.

You know that Hollywood is controlled by liberals. If you disagree with this, all you have to do is show me an episode of Murder She Wrote featuring the Clintons. I will go wait by the phone.

There's great video of a guy trying to steal from a 7/11 in California. He actually gets his ass beaten with a large stick. Gutfeld said it best, "The stick works better than the carrot."  Look up the video!! Gutfeld said that he would show the entire video on his show.

The Ukrainians claim that they killed hundreds of Russian soldiers with the missile system that we sent them. The Russians remain in Ukraine. You decide who to believe.

"Disinformation" is anything the government doesn't want you to hear. "Misinformation" is any lies the government spreads. Misinformation is also known as "propaganda". Propaganda is spread by government agents like PBS, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, and the biggest liar of them all, MSNBC. 

I picked up a Nixon 1972 re-election pin at a thrift shop the other day. It's one of the smaller pins and not noticeable enough for me to wear at sales. My favorite is a pin from 1960 that reads "Nixon and Lodge". The "and" is in very small letters. Lat year, I was wearing it at the Hillsville Labor Day Weekend Flea Market. Some young guy asked me, " Is Nixon Lodge some kind of hotel?" "No, kid. It means that you are an idiot!" He didn't buy anything, but the girl with him was laughing as he staggered away.

I am a geek/nerd. I write in black ink. Long ago, I wrote with blue ink. Somewhere in the mid 1980's, I changed to black ink. If you are wondering where this story is going, hang on.  In high school, I ran with a pretty tough group of nerds. We all used leather pocket protectors. I don't use a pocket protector anymore but I do carry more than one pen. At work, I used to carry three or four pens. One day, a customer asked me if he could borrow a pen. I told him that I didn't have one that he could use. He said, "I hate to point out the obvious, but you have four pens in your pocket." I replied, "Yes and I have them because I don't loan them to other people." I walked away. He may still be standing there with that slack jawed look on his face.

What's the point?  I have noticed that the people who make fun of the number of pens in my pocket are carrying a backpack or a purse the size of an overnight bag. What are you hiding in that bag? 

Why is everyone carrying a backpack everywhere? Hunter Biden boarded Marine One for a flight to Camp David with a big red backpack. Do they charge for checked bags on Marine One? How many dime bags of cocaine can you carry in a pack that size? Did he have one bag more than the capacity so he just left that one bag in a locker at the White House?

I actually have a computer backpack that I keep my laptop in when we travel. I don't carry it around with me. If I have a thought, I just get one of my pens and my spiral-bound database (a 3X5 notebook) and write a note.

Hunter Biden was spotted on a sidewalk in Hollywood yesterday running a three-card monte game. In his defense, the judge did tell him to get a job.

My wife and I spent some time in the mountains of Virginia on our recent expedition. I love being in the outdoors.  Rarely does a day go by where I don't see someone doing something incredibly stupid in the outdoors. Just a reminder that nature does not have an affirmative action program. Write that down! Do something stupid and you will pay the price.

At a convenience store on the road to Natural Bridge, I tried to find a snack. When what to my wondering eyes should appear but a brightly colored bag of "Cracker Jill". Was Cracker Jack just too sexist? Is a product name of over a century not worth keeping? It turns out that Pepsi (owner of Cracker Jack) did this about a year ago . They claim that they are trying to promote women's sports. Pepsi issued a statement saying that the team heading up the ad campaign is "fueled by powerful female and non-binary voices".  I settled for a bottle of cheap water and a Little Debbie cake. Fuck you, Pepsi!

Moving on, this was my first trip to Natural Bridge. It was incredible and well worth the $9.00 admission per adult. So, my wife and I saw an incredible miracle of nature for the price of a couple of Big Mac meals.

Let's move the nation's capitol to Nebraska and start over. Give Washington DC back to Maryland. That will take Baltimore out of first place in the "Worst city in Maryland" competition. Turn the Pentagon into America's largest self-storage building. Put Hillsdale College in charge of the monuments and the Smithsonian. They will put on a presentation about real American history. Call in Sherman to burn the rest!!

Wisdom from the Road

 My wife and I recently returned from an extended trip to practice my travel trailer towing skills and improving my set up times at the KOA. 

A few thoughts from the road must start with this tidbit for drivers everywhere.  FYI, that thing sticking out of the left side of your steering column is your turn signal, trust me. Forget about visualizing "world peace". Visualize yourself using that damned turn signal!! I promise you that it won't hurt to use it. One more thing, if you are driving down the road and the turning signal is blinking and you are not turning, turn it off!! Leave any questions in the comments section.

In an recent interview, John Fetterman described Joe Biden as "sharp". The alleged reporter failed to ask him "As compared to what?" There are also reports that Fetterman described Diane Feinstein as "hot". I am pretty sure that last comment won't make the video.

In World War 2, the government urged citizens to plant Victory Gardens to make sure that we had plenty of vegetables. Today, we plant our vegetables in Washington, DC. In 2023, we have a bumper crop of vegetables holding office. How have we managed to elect such a group of losers?

In other "news", Donald Trump was indicted by a Washington, DC grand jury for trying to change election results. First, an indictment of a Republican by a DC grand jury is not news. Since the population of DC is dependent upon the federal government for their existence, they vote Democrat at a rate of greater than 90%. A Republican simply cannot get a fair trial in DC.  Second, an old guy with dementia who campaigned from his basement after Democrats changed all of the election rules, won the election with a record number of votes. Could there possibly be anything wrong there? 

Democrats keep denying election fraud saying that there are no issues. Fraud, by definition, is not obvious. Democrats refuse to make the thorough investigation required to find fraud. How many US attorneys have been commissioned to find issues with the election? One, the guy who had Trump indicted in DC.

In a real democracy, the Department of Justice would be indicted for obstruction of justice. It's time to fire everyone at the DOJ and burn their buildings to the ground. 

The House needs to move to impeach Merrick Garland tomorrow.

You know that retail theft is at a record high when the fitting rooms at the Goodwill stores are closed. What kind of scumsucker steals from Goodwill? 

My wife and I were out today looking for unusual items at a few thrift stores. Mary L.Trump's book about Donald Trump was on the 50 cent rack and was still overpriced. I can't remember if the "L" in her name stands for loser or liar.

I was able to buy a bundle of six Dr. Seuss books for $3.  The bundle of books included the racist, xenophobic, now banned from publication, And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street.

Last month, I acquired a street sign that reads "Mulberry St."  I am going to pair it with the book and sell it as a "Beginners Bigot Bundle". I am anticipating a quick sale!

Any doubt that the Department of Justice is anything other than a political cesspool died over the weekend when the DOJ asked a federal judge to send Devon Archer to prison before he could testify to Congress today. Who knew that federal judges even worked weekends?

The mainstream media continues to attack and ridicule the DeSantis campaign. These are the same folks who were ridiculing Trump in 2015. 

Why are liberal Democrats attacking RFK Jr.? I realize that liberals eat their own, but isn't this going just a little too far? Do the Democrats have a Plan B in case Biden can't run?

Liberals tell us that impeachment is just a waste of time as the Democrats in the Senate will not vote to convict. This from a party that impeached Trump when he was no longer even the president. Hey guys, don't waste your time with any moral pointers!! You have no credibility. Your children cannot even spell credibility.

Evidently, there is trouble in paradise. The "I Promise" school in Akron has a class of eighth graders which has not a single member who has passed the Ohio state math test in three years. Some reports indicate that it may actually be five years since someone passed the state math test. Not a single student has passed the math test. The alarm bells should be sounding at "I Promise". Does anything say "failure" more completely than absolutely no one passing the test? The school board needs to end this experiment before someone stupids themselves to death!

The LeBron James Foundation which has given the school more than $1.4 million has issued a statement that they "are in it for the long haul". I wonder if any of those eighth graders can spell "long haul". By the way, what are their reading scores?

The math debacle at the "I Promise" school is not the fault of the James Foundation. It merely demonstrates the continuing failures of public education. I am compelled to remind anyone who may be reading this that public education is an experiment which is failing miserably. Memo to teachers unions and their supporters, there is no correlation between teacher salaries and student test scores. The amount of funds expended is not how the quality of education is measured. 

I am going to give teachers a break here and point out that why Johnny and Jane can't read starts at home. I have had scores of former employees who told me that they didn't have any books at home. These are people who go to Barnes and Noble for the coffee. 

I am sure that LeBron knows the numerical difference between a two point shot and a three point shot. Do those eighth graders know? Apparently not.
