You never know how much it means

Received this message from my older son Walter, a couple of hours ago

You never know how much it means....
I got this truck from my Uncle Bobby who served in Vietnam. He had this license plate on the front. I've left it on for the years that I've owned the truck, have thought about replacing it a couple of times but stopped because it reminds me of him and I believe it's an important message. One of the corners is broken and its dirty and worn but it's still there. At a gun show a few weeks ago, I looked for a new one. They had plenty of plates for the recent middle eastern conflicts but no POW/MIA plates. I asked the guy running the booth and he told me they just didn't sell. Ok, I'll order it online.
Today I am at the gas station vacuuming the truck out. I catch movement out of the corner of my eye at the rear of the truck. It is a middle aged lady. With tears in her eyes she thanked me for my license plate. She went on to explain that her father was captured in Vietnam and was one of the POWs who never got to return. Today was his birthday and she was so grateful to see people remember his sacrifice. With that she turned around and was gone.
I went home and ordered a new plate.

Democrats and "Mental Masturbation"

Democrats and "Mental Masturbation"

Pelosi has said that the House will pass a War Powers Resolution limiting what President Trump can do against Iran.
If they actually do that, what are the chances that the Senate will pass that resolution?
If both houses pass the bill, is there anyone with more than a room temperature IQ who thinks that Trump will sign that bill?
When he vetoes the bill, and he will, what are the chances that the 2/3 majority in both houses exists to override the veto?
If they can override the veto, they will have to go to court to enforce it, because he is going to ignore it. The only previous occupant of the White House who has been to court about the War Powers Resolution of 1973 won that battle. That President stated that the War Powers Resolution is "constitutionally deficient". For liberals, that President was Bill Clinton.
If they can win in District Court, you know that it will eventually end up in the Supreme Court. I am not a constitutional scholar, but a bill passed by Congress giving itself more power while limiting the executive branch is probably a violation of the "separation of powers" concept. But how many Dems have actually read the Constitution?
If they are serious about this, they need to pass a constitutional amendment. They can't get that done before the November election, so they are not interested.
So we are back to title of this story. There is no way they will succeed. They are only doing this for headlines that their accomplices in the media will run attacking Trump. That tactic did NOT work in 2016. Why waste their time doing it again this year?? Why? Because it's mental masturbation for liberals. They can shut their eyes and pretend they are winning.
