L. Louise Lucas, Loser-at-Large??

Virginia State Senator L. Louise Lucas surrendered this morning to federal authorities in Norfolk, Virginia. A federal grand jury returned the indictment last week.

This from CBS News, "According to a 45-page indictment filed in the Eastern District of Virginia, Lucas and six other co-defendants are charged with conspiring to distribute and possess marijuana, conspiring to launder money, laundering money and committing bribery by distributing large quantities of illegal marijuana under the auspices of her legal medical cannabis business."

Virginia Governor Abigail Spam-burger criticized the DOJ for releasing the indictments just before the elections. Attorney General Todd Blanche pointed out that Virginia is not electing state officials this year, they did that last year. He also said that the 60-day-rule is an unwritten protocol and is not in the DOJ Policy Manual.

So, in Spam-Burger world you can't arrest anyone in an election year. Of course, that rule obviously only applies to Democrats, you can drag a former Republican President into a New York City courtroom at any time. For Democrats to bitch about Republicans prosecuting Democrats is a comedy from the DC Theater of the Absurd. Blanche also pointed out that the investigation started several years ago in a different administration.

Attorney General Todd Blanche pointed out the fallacies of both Senator Lucas' and Governor Spam-Burger's comments. To his credit, Blanche is a much more restrained man than I am. If Spam-Burger had said that to me, my response would have been a simple, but eloquent, "You're shitting me, right?"

Senator Lucas, of course, blames this all on Jim Crow laws. I realize that she is 82, but can someone tell her that the Jim Crow laws are gone with the wind. An 82-year-old black female is the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Virginia legislature, and she is complaining about Jim Crow. She is actually responsible for making the laws. This is the kind of leftist, Communist, racist thinking that you can't even make up today. She has been in the state legislature since 1991. This is the best argument for term limits that I have heard this month.

I am delighted that Senator Lucas did not try to take all of the graft and corruption money by herself. She has six co-defendants, including her two daughters and a grandson. There may be Italians and Sicilians somewhere who are following this story and thinking, "Why didn't we do that?"

The charges show that Lucas directed the purchase and sale of over 100 kilograms of illegal marijuana. The motivational posters on her pot shop walls must read, "Go Big or Go Home!!"

Just to demonstrate that I am not just now ranting about the disgraceful Sen. Lucas, I posted about Sen. Lucas and her "pot plantation" on May 7, May 11, and May 15 on this blog. Here's three links:

The Political Wit and Wisdom of Wednesday

Ilhan Omar, missing for several days, has been spotted in Texas. Shoppers across the state are reporting that her face is now on the sides of milk cartons, replacing James Talarico who finally surfaced again last week.

I am still trying to understand how a devout Muslim woman and her devout Muslim husband, owned a winery. Who do they think that they are, Baptists??

It has been revealed that the explosion in autism rates among immigrants in Minnesota is somehow related to the fact that recipients with autism get paid more. Helen Keller could have seen that one coming.

The walls in the Walmart restroom are alive with the sound of poetry. Spotted in the Reidsville store's men's room today was this masterpiece:                                                                                                         "Here I sit on the pooper,

 giving birth,

to a voter for Cooper."

If you are not in North Carolina, former NC governor Roy Cooper is running for the United States Senate. After screwing the citizens of North Carolina for 40 years, Roy is taking his campaign of graft and corruption to a national market. I don't think that Roy is healthy enough to last the six years. I will post more about this when I get a "cease and desist" letter from his attorneys about that remark.

My beloved and I will be out of the state on Election Day, so we went to the county seat of Yanceyville to vote early today. There were more people there than I expected.

There is only one location in Caswell County for early voting. Unlike college students in Greensboro, no one gathered a mob to march and protest the lack of a polling place within a five-minute walk. We just drove to the early voting location.

At the polling location, you have to present a Photo ID to vote. In the twenty minutes that we were there, I saw exactly ZERO people turned away for lack of ID. Everyone had a photo ID. They actually verify your ID against the voter registration rolls. If little Caswell County can do this, the leftist dickheads in North Carolina's larger cities and counties should be able to pull it off.

The county liquor store in town also requires a photo ID. I saw no one protesting there, either.  Maybe we just aren't as stupid as people in large cities.

Let me go ahead and put a couple of other leftist claims to rest. Libtards (Democrats) are claiming that women who are married and have changed their names will have trouble getting a photo ID with their married name on it. My wife and I have shared a last name for 47 years, she's never had a problem getting an ID. NEVER!! The loser libs also claimed that adoptees would have trouble getting an ID. Sorry dumbasses, but I was adopted as a child. I have never had a problem getting any kind of ID. If you see me, I will show you my photo ID, if you will show me yours!!

Top Ten Tuesday Tales, Topics and Taunts

 1. Angie Nixon, Democratic US Senate candidate in Florida. has caused me to expand my definition of "whacko broad". This woman has left "whacko broad" in the dust and has moved to "lunatic bitch". If she were a dog, someone would have put her down by now to keep the breed from spreading.

2. Is Angie Nixon just Gavin Newsome in drag? Are there any pictures of them appearing in public together? Inquiring minds want to know!!

3. In the absence of a President with dementia, Federal judges are trying to run the country. From what trees can be cut to what fountain people can use as a swimming hole, Federal judges think that they run the nation. Attorney General Todd Blanche needs to get the attention of the judges by pulling all of the US Marshalls out of the federal courthouses. Once they have experienced the peril in which they have placed all of the rest of us American citizens, maybe they will come to their senses.

4. Regardless of their political affiliation, I will vote for the first son of a bitch who proposes five-year terms at each level for federal judges. Five and farewell!!

5. Texas Senate candidate James Talarico disappeared for nine or ten days a couple of weeks ago. He then claimed that he had the flu. Democrats are spending more than half a billion bucks on this guy's campaign, and nobody hired a spokesman? You're shitting me, right? What happens if he gets elected and decides to take a powder for ten days while the Senate is trying to pass some actual legislation? Is CNN on his campaign payroll?

6. Can you imagine the state of the news media if Trump didn't show or call for ten days? Of course, this is just another example of the hypocrisy of liberals. Rules for thee, but not for me??

7. No one has seen Ilhan Omar in days. Who does she think she is, James Talarico? Just to be fair, she could be doing a Mitch McConnell impression.

8. Democrats hate successful people. Why? Because successful people don't need all of the free shit to which Democrats are trying to get the rest of the population addicted to so that they will vote Democratic.

9. Next weekend is the GHOE. That is the Greatest Homecoming On Earth at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro. If you hate waiting in lines, stay away from liquor stores, restaurants, bars and hospital emergency rooms. By the way, this will be the 100th celebration of homecoming at A&T.

A local bookie is taking bets on the body count for the annual festivities. He works on a Thursday to Sunday total if you are interested. He won't take bets from law enforcement people. He claims that would be "insider trading".

10. Adam Hamilton is the Democratic candidate for the US Senate seat in Kansas. Hamilton is the lead pastor at The Church of the Resurrection, a United Methodist Church. Hamilton is a talented speaker/preacher. However, five minutes of listening to him reminds me of why the United Methodist Church split. If you live in Kansas, vote red!! Think of Dorothy's ruby slippers!!

Monday Morning Mixture

This weekend a young man in Michigan asked Abdul El-Sayed if he would disavow the Muslim Brotherhood. El-Sayed spent more than four minutes attacking the young man for asking the question while not bothering to answer the question. His lack of an answer is the answer to the question.

Abdul El-Sayed is claiming that for people to ask him about the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to John Kennedy being asked about the Vatican and the Catholic church during his 1960 campaign. That's like someone claiming that asking them if they are in the KKK is like asking Jimmy Carter if he was a Baptist. El-Sayed's chain has no links.

It's time for us to redefine the term "Doctor". El-Sayed has a medical degree. He has never done a residency. He is not licensed to practice medicine. He has served as the director of the Detroit Health Department, but he has never actually practiced medicine. So, a guy who has never actually treated a medical patient is deciding how people should receive medical care. Based on what I see online, there's a strong possibility that I may be the only breathing human in our solar system who thinks that this concept is incredibly stupid.

Why in the name of all that is holy do we let "Doctors" who have never actually seen a patient tell us all how we should handle a medical issue? The name Dr. Fauci comes to mind right now. Mandy Cohen is a close second. Fauci, Cohen and thousands like them may be "scientists" (and I am not sure about that), but I don't believe that they are real doctors.

If Dr. Jill Biden and Dr. Phil have not completely destroyed the idea of "Doctor" having real meaning, then I believe that Dr. Fauci may have administered the "death ray" for the term.  If you want to be called "Doctor", practice medicine.

If that doesn't make sense to you, let's go another direction. I love history. I love to study wars. I have been to hundreds of battlefields. If I see a historical marker about a battle, I stop. Do I tell people to call me "General"?  Hell, no!! Let's end the practice of labeling every schmuck who stayed in school too long "Doctor".

I checked the schedule for the World Series this morning. If the Series goes for seven games, the last game will be played on October 31. It's a night game, so there's a possibility that it could be the first World Series to end in November.

The Series scheduling is kind of like the "Super Bowl". The Super Bowl used to be played in mid-January, now it's fighting Valentine's Day in mid-February for attention. They have never played a Super Bowl on Valentine's Day, I am guessing that they never will.

In the North Carolina US Senate race, the law firm of Marc Elias is representing Roy Cooper. Last week, the Elias Law Group sent the North State Journal a "cease and desist" letter for asking if Cooper had any medical issues that would prevent him from serving the six-year term if he wins the election. The Journal had sent Cooper's campaign eight letters without a response. Cooper's opponent, Michael Whatley's campaign answered the Journal's question on the first try without needing an attorney. If something sounds strange here, you are correct. What's the Cooper campaign concealing?

Does the El-Sayed campaign use the same attorney as the Cooper campaign?

Sen. Slutkin, Fascist at Large?

Elissa Slotkin, who went from the CIA to the Senate has violated the long-standing policy of both the CIA and the Democratic Party. That rule is "Don't say anything that is coherent."

It's an old theory, "If you can't be quoted, you can't be misquoted."  Or "If you can't be understood, you can't be misunderstood." There's the always appropriate "Better not to say anything and have people believe that you are an idiot than to open your mouth and confirm that you are an idiot."

I found this picture of Senator Slotkin on this Democratic Party recruiting poster online.

She appeared on a program at the University of Chicago last week telling people that we need to prosecute young people who participate in the Trump Administration to keep them from supporting Trump. Leave it to the Communist from the CIA to publicly say what they didn't want us to know. They want to prosecute people based on their political beliefs. She needs to be removed from the Senate and any future public offices.

The arrogance of liberals is simply breathtaking. This is just another case of a whacko liberal broad who thinks that conservatives are below them. She should be committed to an insane asylum while they try to cure her Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Know Kings???

Today was marked by another round of "No Kings" rallies and marches attended by hordes of old hippies across the nation. Apparently, they either skipped school or burned a nickel bag in the restroom on the days that we studied Civics in high school. Memo to the peckerheads marching in these rallies, we haven't had a king in 250 years and the rest of us are pretty sure that we aren't starting to have one this year.

A quick look at the news showing groups across the land marching on a beautiful fall day when they could have been at a picnic tells me exactly how stupid or desperate for some Soros cash in their pocket, that these folks really are. Why waste a beautiful fall day protesting a problem that we don't have?

These protestors and their leaders are making the case for a mandatory vaccine against Trump Derangement Syndrome. These protestors are probably still lining up for the COVID vaccine. If they are, it's a miracle that this many are still alive.

I caught a few minutes of the march videos from across the land on the news. These protesters were the same losers who were marching against everything in the 1970's. I guess that old habits are hard to break. Their parents were probably losers too. I will bet that their parents went to school with Maynard G. Krebs. It's obviously hard to break that family tradition of bad decisions and lack of thought. There's a country music song somewhere in these first few paragraphs.

I am obviously not a good judge of aberrant behavior by people who I thought were "normal" or whatever word you use in your world. I saw a post from an acquaintance who I knew more than twenty years ago and was stunned. This guy has a PhD, which just helps make my case against the proliferation of useless college degrees. I may have to check just to see if he went to school with Dr. Jill.

I am so damn tired of leftist halfwits labeling everyone on the right as fascists and Nazis, I may have to drive my Panzer tank through the next "No Kings" rally. If you just got home from the "No Kings Rally" and are reading this, the Panzer tank thing is something that your side doesn't understand, humor.

Cuntry singer Kacey Musgraves launched a tirade against Christopher Columus yesterday calling Chris a "loser". Let me know when the nation starts celebrating "Musgraves" Day. Kacey just makes the case for the risk of brain damage caused by heavy marijuana usage.

We don't have a President who ignores all of the laws and does what he wants, regardless of the law. The last federal official to do that was Jerkoff Jack Smith. Jack Smith violated almost all of the rights of people who he disagreed with politically. If we really did have a king, Jerkoff Jack Smith would be rooming with a big guy named Bubba right now.

I will wrap this rant up with a single, simple thought. If you are out protesting against Donald Trump, ask yourself, why aren't Trump and the rest of us real Americans having your worthless, lying asses put into jail for protesting?

Thom Tillis Tribute??

On the days that I think that I spend too much of my time hating Senator Thom Tillis, something happens that causes me to realize that there are other people who hate him more than I do.

I saw this online this morning as I scanned for the morning political updates.

Democrats and Sex Offenders?

Democrats are trying to go ahead and cancel the upcoming election since they think that they are ahead in all of the polls. They may be, but let's go ahead and vote anyway.

How about that MS-NOW telling people that Kash Patel was landing in Moscow while he was actually at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia? Maybe they should hire a geography expert?

Here's just a quick refresher for you on history. Despite the polls and the newspaper headlines, there was never a President Dewey.

It's quicker to write "communist" than "Democratic Socialist". Stay tuned for more tips on synonyms.

Here in North Carolina, the polls tell us that Roy Cooper is way ahead of Michael Whatley. I am a registered Republican, and I think that Whatley is running a horseshit campaign. Here's a pointer, Michael. If you are fighting with a pig, you are going to have to get down and dirty to win, Cooper is a political pig.

I am fascinated by the liberals in the Cooper-Whatley race. Democrats are all upset about a sex offender who is in the Whatley campaign as a member of the NC Republican Party. Despite Roy Cooper's claims, Whatley did not hire Harvey West for that. West is a member of the party structure; he was already there. Shall we survey the list of Democratic party members for sex offenders? Do you honestly believe that the Democratic Party structure is free of child sex offenders? This is what makes the sight of Democrats screaming about Epstein laughable. Two words, Bill Clinton or Bill Gates

For Democrats to scream about a sex offender in the political system is the absolute height of hypocrisy as there is no evidence of them ever labeling one of their own members as a sex offender and condemning him or her..

Here are my thoughts on sex offenders because I have employed several over the years. First, once convicted they need mental health treatment. If that doesn't work, they may require surgical modifications. I think that all need supervision and that would be human contact, not an electronic ankle bracelet.

Allow me to state what I believe are some obvious facts. I believe that they need intense supervision to keep them from becoming repeat offenders. I also believe that many of them can still contribute something to society.

Over the last fifty years, I have employed several sex offenders. Let's also realize that not all sex offenders are not all child sex offenders. "Sex offenders" covers a pretty broad spectrum of criminal behavior. Let's be honest here, if these people can't work and support themselves, they will probably get into more trouble. As a society, we have an obligation to give these people another chance to live a life outside of a prison. Some will take it; some will end up quickly back in prison.

Employing sex offenders is like hiring other people with criminal records. You must place them in a job that will not enable them to repeat their crimes. You don't let embezzlers work the cash register. You don't let child sex offenders work with young people. You don't hire delivery drivers with a record of several DUIs. We probably don't hire prostitutes to work as hostesses, but then again?

If we are going to make this great experiment of democracy and individual freedom work, we are going to have to solve some of these problems with criminals. We can't build enough prisons for everybody. We have to try another plan. If you don't agree with my plan, what's yours?

There Ain't No Free Lunch!!

The title of this post is my favorite quote from Zig Ziglar. Zig checked out in 2012, but I still reread some of his books. I went to a couple of seminars over the years and heard him deliver the message live. People usually left a Ziglar seminar feeling better than when they went in.

Zig could do an hour about "There ain't no free lunch!" He said that the world would be a better place if people would just take the time to understand that concept. There ain't no free lunch!

The entire Democratic Party and other liberal groups are all opposed to this simple concept. The Democratic Party exists to counter Zig's claim. They are in fact the party of the "Free Lunch". Or as I prefer to put it, "Free Shit."

We are a couple of weeks out from Election Day and the Internet, the television and even the radio are all filled with the promises of "The Free Lunch".

All politicians use the lure of the "Free Lunch" to win voters. It never works out. Someone has to pay the bills. But who?

Politicians are bad at math. the numbers never work. Check state and federal budgets for more proof of this. Check the national debt if you have the stomach for it.

I hear people telling me, "Democrats are for the working man." Hell, Dims don't even know a working man. They wouldn't know a working man if one bit them on the ass. Dims have become the party of the "non-working man".

Don't believe me? How's that Obamacare working for you? Did you keep your doctor? How far down have your costs for medical care gone? If you don't have all of those numbers, feel free to get back to me later on that.

Luckily for the United States, I have the answer. What's the answer? Simple, require everyone to contribute. You have to put something in to get something out. Whatever you reward, you reinforce. If we pay people to not work, they aren't ever going to go back to work. They just won't.

Here's some examples: People who live in government housing should help maintain the place. We shouldn't have to hire people to clean up after residents who are living there for free. Housing projects should be the cleanest places in any city. Hint: They aren't right now. If you don't have a job and are receiving unemployment benefits, you should have to report every day to an employment center where they can help you find a job. If you need training, you should be in some kind of school every day.

I think that I have the support of a majority of Americans when I say that I am not willing to pay somebody to hang out on the corner waiting for a chance to break the law. If you want to sell drugs or use drugs, do it on your time with your money, not mine.

Politicians are using our tax dollars as an incentive to reward their voters who don't want to contribute to society. We are headed towards an economic catastrophe because politicians are using our tax dollars to provide for those unwilling to contribute.

There ain't no free lunch! Taxpayers are paying for that, and we are tired of doing that. You politicians can buy votes with your own frigging money!!

Top Tuesday Taunts and Topics

Keisha Lance Bottoms debated no one on Monday night and came in second.

Ilhan Omar's home being raided by the FBI has wakened all of the sleeping liberals who were okay with Jerkoff Jack Smith raiding Trump's home at Mat-A-Lago. Apparently, the (D) behind the name is supposed to provide the brother f----r with some kind of immunity.

After watching Letitia James try to justify her statements in the Cornell case, I am grateful that a Supreme Court seat didn't open up when Biden was President.

Apparently, Letitia didn't get the memo about feigning impartiality in the Cornell case. It is rumored that her first move in the case will be to set a sentencing date.

I think that the most interesting thing in the whole Cornell case is that no one wants to talk about the obvious problem of drug and alcohol use and abuse by all of those involved in the incident. Are you sending your kids to college to learn how to use drugs?

I am certain that a young woman who is under the influence of something should not go by herself to a fraternity house. It's just not a good idea. With everyone having consumed alcohol and/or drugs how do we decide who is telling the truth? And that's providing that anyone is telling the truth.

It has been more than fifty-five years since my two years of French class in high school. So, in answer to a reader's inquiry, I do not know if "Letitia" is French for "lard ass".

I don't know what title LA James will use for her book about the upcoming trial, but I will just point out that "Rush to Judgment" has already been used.

LA James has a very qualified candidate running against her in the election next month. Saritha Komatireddy wiped the floor with James at a debate a few days ago.

Don't bother searching MS-NOW or CNN for those debate highlights. There weren't any highlights for James. Titanic Tish struggled to name a past New York attorney general she admired. The only name she could recall was her own. Gomer Pyle said it best, "Surprise! Surprise!"

If Kathy Hochul or "Froze Face" is ready for some real justice, I can recommend a personal injury law firm to handle her suit against the doctor who has performed her last several facelifts. They should have at least given her a discount for multiple purchases.

If James and Hochul are both defeated in the upcoming election, there is a possibility of the State of New York sinking into some form of actual democracy.

The award for the "Most Patient Politician" is shared by President Donald Trump and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin.  They wasted two hours of their lives on the phone with NYC Commissar Mamdani about an illegal immigrant who Mamdani wanted freed. They should bill New York City for that time.

I don't understand what took two hours. At about the five-minute mark, I would have said, "Write this down! We are not going to do that! If you do not understand the preceding phrase, inquire in writing immediately." Then just hang up the phone. Just for the record, I have used that process and those words on multiple occasions.

Trump and Mullin aren't married to Mamdani. There's just no sense in wasting that much time. It's not like New Yor City is filled with Republicans or even actual US citizens.

They could have saved time and money by having Tom Homan explain the actions to Mamdani. Homan could have explained it to him and had enough time leftover to bust another couple of illegals.

Mamdani is a true Communist. He doesn't understand the whole concept of someone being a criminal. Wait until he encounters mass shoplifting in his city owned grocery stores. I need to check the odds on those stores ever opening.

The Major League Baseball are well underway. I liked it better before the playoffs involved most of the teams in the leagues. When I was a kid, the teams that finished first in each league after 162 games played each other in the World Series. Now they have stretched that process into a month-long process that consumes October.

With apologies to James Whitcomb Riley, "The frost is on the punkin" before the World Series is finished. In a couple of more years, the World Series will be competing with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for television time.

AI or SI or BI??

I don't understand what all of the fuss is about with Artificial Intelligence, Super Intelligence or Barely Intelligent. A couple of weeks ago, I used the AI function on Google to search this blog's name. I also searched the name on Microsoft's Bing Co Pilot.

Bear in mind that this blog has been on Blogger, a part of Google for more than 21 years. The results are interesting at best.

A couple of weeks ago, this was the response from Google's AI, Alleged Intelligence.

"Random Moments of Lunacy" is primarily known as a personal reflection blog (randommomentsoflunacy.blogspot.com) authored by Dennis Barry, featuring commentary on life, culture, and politics.

The phrase also appears across creative media in the following contexts:

• Film Criticism: It is used as a descriptive phrase in reviews for the 2003 romantic comedy film A Guy Thing, describing the movie's sporadic, chaotic attempts at whimsy.

• Fan Fiction: The phrase is featured as dialogue in Harry Potter fan fiction, such as the archived story Potter's Charm by Secret Lily.

Google's AI didn't even get my name right. They credited the blog to a classmate who I have mentioned a couple of times.

A few minutes later, I used the AI function on the Bing search engine to research my blog name. Here's what I got.

Saturday Morning Roundup

How many American citizens have been shot or otherwise killed by illegal immigrants this year? Apparently, the news media only tracks how many illegals are shot by ICE or other law enforcement agencies.

North Carolina needs Roy Cooper in the US Senate like I need profanity lessons.

If Roy Cooper gets elected to the US Senate, we need to bring back literacy tests before we allow you to vote.

The Waffle House index kicked in yesterday in Pensacola as they shut down some locations in anticipation of Hurricane Isaias late night arrival in the area.

Let's pass a law requiring that hurricane names must be in simple English. I once had a guy tell me that he wanted to apply for a job. I asked him his name. I can't remember his name, but after he said his name I asked, "How do you spell that?" He replied, "Just like it sounds." If you are a regular reader, you know that he didn't get a job. He didn't even get an application.

Jim Bakker of PTL/Heritage USA fame and failure passed away earlier this week. His second wife announced his passing on Monday evening.  After spending a few years in prison, Bakker had taken a different direction in both his ministry and his marriage. Of course, by that time, he no longer had to keep Tammy Faye, his first wife, in makeup and midnight shopping trips to Kmart.

I read an article about Bakker the other day that stated this: "The Associated Press also reported that in June 2021, Bakker and his Morningside Church Productions Inc. settled a lawsuit accusing him of falsely claiming the health supplement Silver Solution could cure COVID-19. The settlement called for $156,000 in refunds to people who paid money or gave contributions to obtain the product in the early days of the pandemic."

WOW!! Bakker made the same claim about Silver Solution that Dr. Fauci and drug makers had made about COVID vaccines. But no one was allowed to sue Dr. Fauci, the NIH, the drug makers or the countless public officials who told us that a shot of the vaccine would keep the disease from spreading and that it would not harm you. Thousands died from the vaccine, and no one knows how many died from the disease spreading among the vaccinated. Of course, somewhere on that path, it became necessary to get a booster and keep wearing a mask. Bakker wasn't the world class liar that Dr. Fauci was and continues to be. I am sure that Dr. Jill knew what she was doing when she pardoned Fauci.

If you believe that Gavin Newsome should run for President, on the next US Census form in 2030, please list your occupation as "moron" or "retard". If that offended you, Thanks.

Xavier Becerra is the Democratic candidate for Governor of California. I watched part of a debate between Becerra and Republican Steve Hilton. Becerra is redefining the term "empty suit". If Dems start euthanizing the brain dead, Xavier will be past tense. Of course, as a Democrat, he still qualifies for the governor job.

I got your 25th Amendment hanging right here!!

The Democratic Party is sounding the alarm about Donald Trump and his mental fitness. They want to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove him from office.

I can only assume that all of those dumbass Democrats were asleep for the four years that Sleepy Joe Biden was in office. When Special Counsel Robert Hur decided that he would not prosecute Joe Biden for his handling of secret documents, Hur described Joe Biden as a "sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory". He noted that a jury would likely view him, similarly, making a conviction difficult to secure.

There's a reason why we have seen the transcripts of Hur's interviews of Biden, but they won't let anybody listen to the tapes. If we ever get to hear the tapes, the jig is up for the Dims. The long gaps between incoherent thoughts will prove that I am right and Democrats are serial liars.

Just for the record, "the elderly man with the poor memory" was the guy with the nuclear launch codes. I don't recall any Dims mentioning that fact.

Joe Biden couldn't find his way off a stage when he was through not speaking coherently. If the Secret Service had not taken action, he would still be on that stage at North Carolina A&T from his trip here three years ago. If not for the Easter Bunny corralling Joe at the White House Easter Egg Roll, Joe would still be out on the South Lawn at the White House wondering who decided to rebuild the East Wing.

Five will get you ten that when the new ballroom is through, Biden will try to take credit for it.

I still believe that it was Joe who shit on the White House carpet and blamed his poor dog, Major. Jill should have kept Major at the White House and shipped Joe back to Delaware. That might have left room for Hunter.

Trump stops and takes questions for hours. Joe would only answer questions from selected reporters who had submitted their questions for approval. Yet Trump is the mentally incompetent guy?

Let's question the Democrats and have them explain what makes them think that Trump is failing mentally. Other than he is ridiculing them constantly.

Let's have a committee examine all of the videos from White House press conferences and see how many questions Trump has answered compared to Brain Dead Biden.

Democrats get upset when someone mentions the C-Word in describing their problems. If you guessed that the C-word is "credibility", I will let it pass for today. On second thought, the Dims surrendered every last scrap of credibility when they constantly denied that anything was wrong with Biden. Sorry guys but have already proved that judging a President's mental competence is not your area of expertise.

We all saw Biden live at that debate in Atlanta. You didn't need to be a medical doctor to see that Biden was struggling. Apparently, no one with a (D) behind their name watched the debate.  Maybe his doctor was Dr. Abdul El-Sayed and Joe was his first real patient.

Dr.(?) Jill was so excited by his performance that she praised him like a child being toilet trained. "Joe, you answered all of the questions." was hardly a ringing endorsement of his performance. Maybe, if he had answered all of the questions with coherent responses? I guess that Jill considered an evening out where Joe didn't shit his pants to be a good one.

Obviously, the Democrats who claim that Trump needs to be removed for being mentally unfit are living in some kind of parallel universe. Hey guys! How about just shutting up until you sober up? STFU?

"How to Lose Friends and Antagonize Presidents"??

The title of this post is also the title of the new book by Sen. Thom Tillis. One would think that Tillis would have waited until after he left the Senate to write this "tell nothing" spellbinder. That Senator "Shit for Brains" appeared on MSNOW to talk about his book tells me everything that I need to know about it.

Tillis should have titled it "How to lose Voters and antagonize Presidents". He decided not to run again in 2026 after realizing that he didn't have a snowball's chance of winning again.

I don't understand how Tillis can claim that he lost friends, I can't believe that he had any to lose. The only reason that Tillis won re-election in 2020 was that Democratic candidate Cal Cunningham was a bigger scumbag than Thom. That election was a "lesser of two evils" choice for voters.

I don't want you to think that I just started hating Tillis recently. Here's an excerpt from a post here in 2022. " I saw that Thom Tillis, the North Carolina Idiot-in-Residence, is proposing a "pathway to citizenship" for the Million Man Mexican Mob that has invaded our country since the communists installed Joe Biden in the White House. Liberals long to change the name of that building to the People of Color House. They will probably start with some "street art" on the front walls. But back to Thom Two Face and his "pathway to citizenship". Thom, write this down! There is already a "pathway to citizenship"!! The people who he is trying to help have chosen to ignore that pathway and try to force themselves on us instead. "

I am not a recent convert to the Church of We Hate Thom. I have communicated with his office several times but have never received a reply. Color me stunned!!

Tiny Thom should have considered another title for his collection of crap that some publisher is trying to pass off as a book.. He doesn't have any friends left to lose. Let me break it to you Thom, if I tell you that voters hate you, you can take that to the bank. I am not a Johnny come lately in the gentle art of offending and/or annoying people and I'm telling you that your time is up. Don't even think of coming back here to run for governor or county commissioner! Everybody in North Carolina has caught their limit of Thom Tillis.

Final shot; You aren't a bluegrass banjo player or anything, so ditch the little string ties. Ernie Lee at WTVT in Tampa used to wear that kind of tie in the 1960's and 1970's. He played a guitar for a living, you don't. As unpopular as you are, it's probably not a good idea to put something that looks like a rope that close to your neck.

Dear Virginia, (Virginia Foxx)

 Dear Virginia,

First, I am not writing about the existence of Santa Claus. I am writing concerning the existence of an even more mythical figure, the United States Postal Service. As I believe that the use of the word "Service" is questionable, so I will just call it the "Post Office".

Yesterday, I wrote a post for my blog, Random Moments of Lunacy, about my recent experience at the Post Office in Ruffin, NC. I thought that it was a great piece of work, but you are free to make your own decision. I have attached a copy.

After writing it, I attempted to send it to you by e-mail. I went to your official Congressional website and attempted to do that. Your system would not allow me to contact you because I do not live in your district. Imagine my confusion. The Ruffin Post Office is the one assigned to my address, but through the magic of constant redistricting, I live in a different congressional district. So, this system requires that I contact my congressional representative to deal with a problem outside of his district. I believe that the current trendy expression would be "Make this make sense!"

I spent my working life in the restaurant business. If I go to the McDonalds in Reidsville, which is in your district and have an issue, they don't tell me to contact the McDonalds in Yanceyville, in Brad Knott's district. I realize that good service and the government rarely share the same time/space continuum, but I am writing to you anyway. If it makes you feel any better, I am also writing Rep. Brad Knott about this even though the Ruffin Post Office is not in his district.

I live about one mile from the Rockingham County line, which is where your district starts or ends, you pick. What I find most interesting in this whole thing is that the letter that I found in the trash can at the Ruffin Post Office was sent to a person with a PO Box address at that Post Office. Does your system try to determine whether his actual physical address is in your district?  Or does his zip code +4 at the Post Office Box allow him to contact you?  I am just curious about how this works.

Since the low-cost e-mail won't work, I will return to Ruffin and send this through the Postal Service.

Thanks for allowing me to burn up some staffer's time to read this.

Sometimes, they just write themselves?

Sometimes, I have to think for a while about what to moan and groan about in this space. But once in a while, they just write themselves. Today's post is one of those.

Last week, I was mailing something to my brother, who never mails me anything. Sorry, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to complain. I decided to go to the Ruffin post office, which is the closest to our house. I knew that the counter was only open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, so we drove up there and arrived at about 12:55 PM. I waited until 1:00 PM and went inside. The counter area was closed.

I waited a couple of minutes and then went outside to let my wife know that I was waiting for them to open. I went back inside and started reading the usual notices on the wall while I waited for the service counter to open. There was a trash can beside the counter in the lobby where the PO Boxes were. I looked at the trash can and realized that it was full. On the top of the pile of trash was a letter from a member of Congress to a constituent.

The letter was from Rep. Virginia Foxx to a local man who had complained about the poor service being provided by the Post Office. I was reading this letter in the lobby of a Post Office that was scheduled to open at 1:00 PM and it was 1:09 PM and it was not open. WOW!! This was like a gift from God for a blogger. I folded the letter and put it into my pocket.

I looked outside and there was a car backing into a parking space out front. A woman got out and walked across the parking lot. She was wearing shorts that were way too short to be considered proper office attire at any business that doesn't include tipping dancers. She was carrying a couple of items, one of which was a bag from Panda Express.

As she passed me to unlock the door to the sales lobby, I naturally made a remark about the Panda Express bag. I told her that I liked the Honey Sesame chicken. I can't remember what her favorite menu item was. She took my envelope and weighed it and announced the total. I paid her and headed out the door.

The sign on the door said that the Post Office was open from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. I didn't come back at 5:00 to see if they closed early or stayed open later to make up for being ten minutes late opening.

The Post Office should open on time. Opening late proves to the tax paying public that they are correct, the Post Office just doesn't care about when you get your mail. In addition, we probably need a dress code for postal workers. Wearing too short shorts when you are working in an air-conditioned building is just not appropriate wear for a postal employee. Add the short shorts to being ten minutes late opening the counter and you have complete customer dissatisfaction.

I am going to go ahead and forward this post to Virginia Foxx. Here's the letter from Rep. Foxx that I found in the trash can.

Sunday Shorts

Democrats are on an endless campaign complaining that Trump isn't releasing all of the Epstein information. They believe that he is hiding some connection between him and Epstein. If there were anything tying Trump to Epstein, wouldn't Jack Smith, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg or Phony Fani Willis have released it? Why didn't Joe Biden release it during his four years in office? Wait! Let me rephrase that last question. Why didn't Barack Obama release it during his third term through Acting President Jill Biden? Maybe Hillary is waiting for Bill to die to write her side of the story? It almost certainly involves her or Bill and young girls.

The Leto High Class of 1971 wrapped up their 55th year reunion last night and I remain alive. I knew that there would be no consequences for not attending. My beloved and I attended the Bellamy Brothers concert in Reidsville instead. It was about 679 miles closer than the reunion. Plus, I saved about $1000. Maybe I will make the 60th year reunion.

The NFL minor league (college) football season is in full operation. UNC lost to Notre Dame yesterday in a game that should have only surprised someone covered with Tar Heel tattoos. Bill Belichick should have just retired and enjoyed his time with his 22-year-old girlfriend instead of taking the Carolina job.

There are rumors that some form of "professional" football is being attempted in Charlotte again this year. They may have already won one game this year. The bad news is that they have played more games than that. It doesn't bother me; I lived in Tampa when the Bucs started "playing".

Sen. Martha Blackburn of Tennessee is suing "Special Prosecutor" Jack Smith. She would have been better off slapping the bastard with a glove during his recent Senate appearance and challenging him to a duel.

New York AG Letitia James has criticized Cornell and the white men involved in her online posts. Now, she has a responsibility to conduct an impartial investigation. I was laughing so hard after I typed that I had to go get a drink of water and try to calm down. The girl who will be her main witness will be her worst witness.

If it takes several weeks for you to decide that you were raped, you weren't. It didn't bother her until others started talking about it.

If Jane Doe claims that she made bad decisions because she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, can't the frat boys claim the same thing?

The administration at Cornell needs to grow a pair or several pairs and stand up for fair treatment of their students. At what point do you have to notify the police before losing all credibility?

Kathy (Frozen Face) Hochul and Letitia James need to realize that they have a responsibility to serve ALL of the people in New York, not just the females. So, for them to claim that the frat boys are guilty BEFORE even conducting an investigation, is both immoral and illegal.

For years, Yankees ridiculed justice in the South. Memo to Yankees: Check a mirror! Clean up your own house!

Saturday Morning Confusion, If you think that you can sleep, it's an illusion

If you remember that line from "Saturday Morning Confusion" by Bobby Russell in 1971, this is my tribute to my high graduation class from Leto High School in 1971. I think that the song has aged far better than I have.

In Tampa, the Leto High School Class of 1971 is gathering tonight to relive and remember the "good old days". As I am unable to think of any good in those days, I am just staying home. Maybe in 2031? Probably not. I regard the three years at Leto High as the three worst years of my life.

In my senior year in high school, I had the same teacher for an advanced physics class and an engineering concepts class. I finally stopped hating that guy a few years ago. He died. He actually lived about an hour's drive away from me here in North Carolina. I have friends and relatives who thought that this man was a great teacher. I thought that he was an arrogant, pompous prick. I guess that it is time to put that one behind me.

I was talking to someone about the class reunion last week and they said, "I didn't know that you went to school in Tampa Bay." I responded, "Tampa Bay is a body of water. I went to school in Tampa." Do I get extra credit in Geography or English for that snappy response?

Lindsay Clancy may not be insane, but her attorney Kevin Reddington is showing definite signs of dementia or stupidity, you pick. Recently in court, Reddington claimed that there is no evidence that she killed her three children. What planet is this clown doing time on? I may have to redefine "stupid" to list Reddington as an example.

Senator Thom Tillis demonstrated again this week why North Carolina Republicans hate him and want to bring back tarring and feathering. With Jack Smith on the stand, Tillis decided it would be a good time to criticize President Trump and his Justice Department. Tillis' picture is beside "useless piece of shit" in the English/Profanity dictionary.

Some woman complained in an online forum that at the Liberty Antiques Festival there were some vendors who would not accept "reasonable" offers on their items. I pointed out that offering someone 50% or less of what they are asking is hardly a reasonable offer. I suggested that she go to the food vendor selling the $10 funnel cakes and offer him $5. I told her to let me know about his response. At the next festival, I will watch for a woman with a funnel cake hanging out of her ass.

Memo to Muslim Morons: Be prepared for a fight when you try to highjack an airliner filled with Israelis. It's not going to be the easy job that you thought it would be.

The Justice Department needs to charge Jack Smith with attempting to overthrow the government with his unlawfully obtaining phone records of Representatives and Senators by not telling the judge to whom the records that he wanted belonged. The Congress needs to impeach Judge Bozo Boasberg for failing to ask. Smith and Boasberg need to spend some quality time in "jail therapy". Let's turn the case over to Sheriff Grady Judd to investigate. Maybe Trump should appoint Grady as the FBI Director?
