Kerry Me Back?

Democrats are aflame after the Kennedy Center board decided to rename the center as the Trump-Kennedy Center. Kerry Kennedy claims that she will go down there on January 20, 2029, with a pickaxe and remove the Trump name. Just another sad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I can't believe that they even kept the Kennedy name on the building. I don't want to further inflame the enraged Kennedy chick, but I don't think that balling Marilyn Monroe made John F. Kennedy a patron of the arts. Possibly someone needs to share with Kerry the stories of how JFK and Kerry's father RFK, passed Marilyn Monroe around like a loaner car. What was it about JFK's support of the arts that caused them to name the center for him? Wasn't there a massage parlor or spa up for a naming?

Let's be honest about this, Kerry. The Kennedy Center isn't like the Lincoln Memorial or the Washington Monument. Millions of people visit those monuments a year. The number of tourists who have the Kennedy Center on their must-see list is pretty limited. Much like the Kennedy Administration, the Kennedy Center exists only to keep some of the wealthier locals entertained.

Will your late uncle be best remembered for the Bay of Pigs fiasco or sending US troops to the quaint Asian tourism hotspot of Vietnam? Will they one day discover that Lee Harvey Oswald was just another jealous husband with a rifle? I have a free minute, tell me about all of the great things that your uncle did during his Presidency. I hate to be brutally honest, but the main memory that most Americans have about John F. Kennedy is that he was assassinated. If you think that I am wrong, stop a stranger on the street and ask them to list the five top accomplishments of the Kennedy Presidency. Be prepared to wait.

Maybe as a liberal Democrat, you might remember when your tribe removed the names of anyone who was on the other side in the Civil War from any public building, park or street? At least, Trump left the Kennedy name on the building. Deranged Democrats like yourself want to remove any mention of Trump because of your unhinged and unlimited hatred of Donald Trump. You guys need to get someone to put together a twelve-step program for treating Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Let's be honest here. Your judgments about Trump and other conservatives are called into question by your fifteen-year marriage to Andrew Cuomo. WOW!! A woman who slept with Andrew Cuomo hates Republicans. That's like finding out that the world is round.

I saw some highlights of your driving record online. I can only assume that you are emulating your Uncle Teddy with his driving skills and habits. I will bet that you are never asked to drive the carpool.

Finally, a pickaxe might not be the best tool to stand on a ladder with and use to remove letters. That statement shows how out of touch with physical labor and actual work that Democrats really are.

Foul Mouthed Friday?

Jussica Tarlov on The Five on the Fox News Network has caused the folks who write the English-Profanity Dictionary to redefine "Cunt".

Nothing in history has ever been the fault of the Democratic Party. That's their story and they are sticking with it.

If Democrats are correct, they will all see Donald Trump again when they arrive in Hell. Safe travels, fellows!!

In nearby Randolph County, North Carolina the Public Library Board of Trustees voted 5-2 in October to keep a book about a transgender boy titled, "Call Me Max" on the library shelves. Last week on December 8, the Randolph Couty Board of Commissioners voted 3-2 to remove the Board of Trustees. There's a lesson in there for anyone interested in learning. Voters talk; trustees walk!

The whole transgender thing is a plot by drug companies and doctors.  What happened in our country that caused a massive outbreak suddenly in people who claimed that they were transgender?  What happened is that doctors and drug companies realized how much money that could make by performing life altering surgeries that would cause people to have to take expensive medications for the rest of their lives. Boys have given up doing things that would irritate their parents and instead are claiming that they have decided that they are really girls. Things like this are making parents wish that they had just watched a movie instead on the night that their child was conceived.

What kind of horseshit parent thinks that a six-year-old is qualified to make a decision that will mutilate them physically, compel them to a lifetime of expensive drugs and which they may regret before reaching adulthood? If your kid tells you that they want to be a Marine, do you ship them off to Parris Island for boot camp at age six?

Just to question the whole process here, if your child comes to you and says that they "identify" as an amputee, are you going to let them have a leg removed? Of course not, but sexual organs are okay to remove? If you believe that, your child is not the only one who needs professional mental help.

When I was a kid, the teacher's pet was either the smartest kid in the class or the kid who was the biggest brown noser. Now the teacher's pet is the boy who wants to get his dick lopped off or the girls who wants her breasts cut off and to get fitted for an artificial penis. We need to end this shit!

If you decide to host a Christmas party and have everyone bring some kind of dish, don't invite Kameltoe Harris. All she will bring is that damned special recipe word salad. Well, that and one of those gallon boxes of cheap wine. And she is only bringing one glass.

It's been six days, and we haven't heard from a single student who was in that classroom at Brown University during the shooting. Are they using Maxwell Smart's Cone of Silence? Authorities will neither confirm nor deny that the shooter shouted something. Is the Providence police force really this incompetent? Before identifying a shooter, do they first have to determine whether or not he (or she) was a member of some "oppressed group"?

There's a Keystone Cops remake being filmed at Brown University. In the background music is a loop playing "Car 54, Where Are You?" The radio is blasting "One Adam 12, See a man about some murders at Brown!" Andy has told Barney to put his bullet into his gun.

Doing some research about the Providence police chief, I "Googled" his name and got an article about DEI hires and a picture of the Frito Bandito. But the Bandito was much taller.

My favorite piece of asinine wisdom in the claims from Brown University is that the building was too old to have cameras. Have any of those schmucks been to or even heard of the White House? Yeah, there's more than a few cameras at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. By the way, the White House is a little more than 200 years old. I don't believe that there is a space open to the public where every square inch is not on camera. Yes Brown, you too, can install cameras in an old building.

I can't believe that with the tuition rates at Brown that every student doesn't have a personal security guard.

A few days before Christmas fifty years ago, I went to a meeting of Waffle House managers from our area. After the meeting, several of us gathered for dinner. One of the guys was telling us about how his youngest son had lost a tooth a couple of days earlier. He went into detail about how he and his wife had the boy put his tooth under his pillow for the tooth fairy. He also described the struggle to get the tooth out and put a dollar bill under the pillow without waking the boy. When he finished, one of the other guys said, "I know exactly what you are talking about." Knowing that the second guy was neither married nor had children, I asked. "How do you know anything about the tooth fairy, as you have no children." He replied, "Every night, I put a pair of women's panties under my pillow before I go to sleep." I asked the logical question, "Why?" He laughed and said, "I keep hoping that the pussy fairy will visit my house!" Fifty years later, I can still see all of those guys laughing.

Ending where I started, Fani Willis testified before a Georgia Senate committee yesterday. The cunt in question had hired a lawyer who had never tried a RICO case at a rate higher than ever paid by her office to any other lawyer. I can only assume that any man willing to ball her was entitled to the extra money. It's a moot point now, but since she claimed that the decision to prosecute Trump was hers alone, I offer this question. Why did her employee/lover/friend/ fuck buddy meet with the White House Counsel twice? Inquiring minds, and there are none in the Democratic Party or their wholly owned subsidiary, the news media, want to know.

Thank God It's Thursday!!

Somewhere in the United States today, a federal district court judge issued a ruling against Donald Trump that will be overturned by a higher court in a few weeks. This is some kind of liberal judge's mental masturbation that makes no sense to the rest of the world. These decisions are a waste of time and money.

This is a problem caused by lack of accountability. In the last 230 years, there have been only fifteen federal judges impeached and only seven of those were removed. There is a better chance that a federal judge will be hit by a meteor than they will be removed from office. It's time for terms for federal judges. Frankly, I think that they should be limited to a single five-year term at each level. While we are at it, let's end retirement benefits for judges. Last, we need an age limit. I think that judges need to be between 40 and 75. I just don't think that anyone under forty has enough actual life experience to decide difficult cases. And I don't want to bet on the mental skills of everyone over seventy-five.

Moving on from morons in the judiciary, how about some term limits for Congress? I am sorry, but I just don't believe that government work should be a career field. Eighty-year-olds wanting to shake down the public should just do like the Somalis do in Minnesota. Call Tim Walz for more info and a complimentary corruption startup kit.

If we have to subsidize Obamacare, solar panels, electric vehicles and windmills, are they really practical?  Would any solar panels be sold without the tax credits? The odds are good that we will soon have another government shutdown about Obamacare tax credits.

Is turning American farmland into solar farms, wind farms and public housing really the best use of our limited land resources? Georgia Power likes to brag about this enormous "solar farm" that you drive by for miles on I-75. I am so old that I remember when we used to grow food in those fields. Food costs more because there is less land left to grow it on. Even the slow among you can grasp this concept.

The saying "Nothing lasts forever" is a concept not recognized by the federal government. The excise tax on tires started n 1918 to help finance World War 1. More than one hundred years later we still have those excise taxes. Apparently, excise taxes are where the rubber meets the road. In the old days, the rubber met the road when you tossed a condom out the window on Lovers' Lane. But I digress. My point is that taxes never die. Personal income taxes first started during the Civil War. Those were just "temporary". They didn't become permanent until 1913.

As the polar ice caps continue to grow, I keep looking for one of those polar bears that Al Gore was so worried about, to float down the creek in our back yard. I will post a picture when he shows up. I went outside yesterday morning at 5:00. Our dog hasn't learned how to flush the toilet, so I just take her outside to annoy my neighbors at that hour. It was 11 degrees. Global warming, my ass!!

Former Michigan coach Sherrone Moore was fired for having a relationship with a subordinate. The subordinate was not terminated. I am sure that somewhere in America, a woman has been fired for having sex with a superior, but no one on the Internet has ever heard of it. I just can't believe that no woman has ever had sex with their boss hoping to get some special treatment or favor out of it. Who knew that they were all so innocent?

Boycotts and Other B.S.

I read an article yesterday about the Canadian "boycott" of Florida. Ontario Premier Doug Ford said that he will be abstaining from his usual winter vacation in Florida. He claims that lots of other Canadians will not be traveling to Florida also.

I hate to burst the bubble of Mr. Ford's imagination, but I feel compelled to let some of the air out of his balloon. My mother dragged us to Florida when I was six years old. I lived there until I was thirty and then returned home to North Carolina. While working more than six years at the Waffle House in Florida, I learned all that I needed to know about Canadian tourists.

The first thing to know about Canadians is that there are a lot of restaurant and other hospitality employees who would rather deal with a New Yorker than a Canadian. The old joke is, What's the difference between a canoe and a Canuck? The canoe will tip! There are a lot of waiters and waitresses celebrating at the news of a Canadian boycott. Beyond that, Canadian tourists are not known for their friendliness. "Haughty", "aloof", "pompous", and "arrogant" are all used to describe Canadian tourists. Pick the description you like and run with it. Memo to Canucks: Those New York license plates that you see all belong to other tourists. This is the South. Learn to love it!

The handling of the shooting at Brown University has risen to a score of 10 on the Cluster Scale. Is there anybody left from Barney Miller or Hawaii 5-0 who is still alive to help these guys? If not, we may have to deputize Gomer and Goober to help Barney Fife with this case.

It seems like everybody in America has a smartphone and takes pictures of everything. Tell people to check their selfies that they deleted because someone was in the background. That's probably the shooter who strayed into their selfie.

There is a communication problem between government officials and the press corps covering the incident. I don't believe that the first team is playing on either side. One thing that is obvious to even me, is that there is no one clearly in charge of what is going on in Providence.

I watched the twenty or thirty seconds of video that the Providence police are sharing. They have 800 cameras on the campus at Brown and most of the neighbors have Ring cameras. If those are all of the pictures of the killer that are available, he must have parachuted onto the campus. How about some video from the stores and restaurants in the area? He must at least have walked by some of these places on his way to the campus.

What is the one thing about this about which I am absolutely certain? If that murdering SOB had been wearing a MAGA cap, his ass would have been in jail on Saturday night.

In Biloxi, Mississippi yesterday, a 33-year-old woman from Texas was arrested for putting razor blades into loaves of bread at two Walmart stores. She also placed a fishing hook into one bakery item. No one has been injured, yet. If you guessed that she has facial tattoos, you are correct.

No Topic Tuesday

Democrats are releasing scores of photos of different people with Jeffrey Epstein. Really? My wife used to have a photo of Scotty McCreery (country singer) and me on her desk. Does that mean that I was once friends with Scotty? Of course not, it means that he did a concert at a Bojangles management conference and they took pictures of us there. Yeah, someone (Scotty) was being paid to pose with me and others.

One night at the Waffle House years ago, someone took a picture of Andre the Giant with two waitresses and me. Did Andre and I hang out together? No, we were just 3:00 AM Waffle House friends. I am pretty sure that I never met Epstein, and I am certain that I never made it to his island. I am certain that there is not an authentic photo of Epstein and me. What does all of this mean? It means that public figures (and even private figures like me) are not always actually involved with people with whom they are pictured in photographs.

Last word on this. People are selecting which photographs of Epstein they are releasing. Either give us all of them or none of them. Stop culling the herd!

I think that it is tragic that Rob Reiner was apparently killed by his son. Hopefully, he is not one of those people with conservative views that Rob Reiner was constantly trashing.

On several occasions, Reiner said that everything that Trump said was a lie. If this was true, why are people mad about what Trump has said today about Reiner? If Rob was right, wouldn't that make it all lies? In the meantime, direct me to all of the nice comments that Reiner made about Trump after the Pennsylvania shooting.

My mother used to tell me, "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything." I don't recall ever taking that advice. I am going out on a limb here, but I am guessing that Trump didn't always listen to his mother, either.

If you have guessed by now that I am never asked to speak at funerals, you are correct. But to be honest, there have been a couple of times that I didn't wait for someone to ask me to speak.

The search for the shooter at Brown University appears to be about a nine on the Cluster Chart. To be a ten, Barney Fife would have to be the lead investigator.

I had my annual physical on Monday. Apparently, the odds are pretty good on my making it for another year. I am smart enough not to ask Trump for a comment.

Evidence that the liberals have hit bottom surfaced on Monday in a piece by the editorial board of the Washington Post. Incredibly enough, one of the most liberal newspapers in the nation said this in an editorial titled "Chicago has lost its mind".

The Post board wrote. "The mayor proposes to increase the tax on the lease of ‘personal property’ like computers, vehicles and software from 11 percent to 14 percent, and to bring back the city's ‘head tax,’ which would result in large employers paying $33 per worker, per month, By making it more expensive to do business or hire workers in the city, these measures threaten Chicago's future economic growth and tax collections."

WOW!! A liberal rag like the Washington Post is excoriating Brandon Johnson. It's a good day to be a right-wing extremist!!

If I were a betting man, I would put some money on another government shutdown coming in the early New Year. Washington is filled with slow learners. The most anti-American group in the country is the Democratic Party. They will keep shutting down, because they want to punish Americans for voting for Trump.

Monday Morning Medley of Moans

On Sunday, Australia provided solid evidence that gun laws don't actually work in preventing shootings. Gun laws provide unarmed victims for people who don't obey laws and don't worry about the consequences of breaking gun laws.

I swapped insults yesterday with a friend who lives in England. I asked if he had converted to Islam yet and the insults went downhill from there. It must be great to live in England where they outlaw guns and knives and incredibly enough, people keep getting killed by those who don't obey the law. Who could have seen that coming?

In an under reported aspect of the shootings Saturday at Brown University, no reporter has addressed the timing of the killings in relation to Hannukah. No word on whether or not there were any Jewish people among the victims. Is there something here that no one in the media wants to talk about?

In the Biggest Balls International competition, an Australian television reporter took the prize by describing Australia as "a very successful pluralistic country". This as he was reporting on the slaughter of Jews on Hannukah. WOW!! He must have an ancestor who was a spokesman for Hitler or Goering.

How many more people will be killed by followers of "The Religion of Peace"?

If you need some help hanging the Christmas decorations or raking the leaves in your yard, the former head football coach at Michigan is looking for work. Just a warning, it is rumored that he has some anger management issues.

There was a story earlier about how the now unemployed Michigan football coach was very active on Instagram and Only Fans. This would be a great story if I only knew how either one of those things actually involves coaching football. I will say that from what I have been told, Only Fans has nothing to do with fans of college football.

Rob Reiner and his wife were killed yesterday, but no details have been released. The police apparently aren't looking for anyone and don't think that there is any threat to the public. This is how crazy stories and rumors get started. Don't worry, they have probably already solved the case and captured the killer on "X". Of course, Reiner lived in the same neighborhood as Nicole Brown Simpson, so we may never know who did it.

The illegal immigrant who stabbed a man on the Light Rail in Carlotte on December 5 is also being held on an ICE detainer for his actions. If they release him in Charlotte without turning him over to ICE, the police chief needs to be fired, and the mayor needs to resign. Interestingly enough, he had been banned from the Charlotte transportation system couple of months earlier. I guess that they don't actually enforce those bans. It shouldn't come as a surprise, but the attacker had a facial tattoo. Who could have guessed?

In the shooting at Brown University, it turns out that there are very few video cameras on the campus. Apparently, college students, who record everything in their lives on their smartphones, have some kind of issue with security cameras. How does that make sense?

The Coming Civil War?

Winston Churchill once said, “If you fail to learn history, you are doomed to repeat it.” In the United States today, we are on the verge of proving that Churchill was correct.

There are no exact numbers like we keep today, but about 620,000 soldiers and sailors died in the first American Civil War. Basically, about one in every four men who went off to war did not come back. More Americans died in the Civil War than any other war in our history. If you didn't know that little fact, don't worry. Most Americans know very little about the American Civil War or The War Between the States or whatever they call it in your state.

Why do I think that there is a coming civil war? First, I actually study American history as opposed to those know nothing about anything that happened before smartphones. Beyond that, we all need to actually pay attention to what some of the liberal dumbasses being elected around the nation are doing and saying.

In the federal government, the level of a state's voting power is represented by the population of that state. That's why in the Constitutional Convention; they had to compromise on how slaves would be counted. Free states did not want them counted; slave states wanted them counted. The compromise was that the slaves would be counted as three fifths of a person. The Civil War ended that process. WOW!! It only took a war with 620,000 killed, to end the idea that someone could be counted as three fifths of a person.

In today's world, we count illegal immigrants in the census. The more illegals that a state has, the more money and representation the states get. So, despite bureaucratic protestations to the contrary, Democrats adore this concept because more population gets you more representation and thus more power and money in the Congress.

In 1860, the issue of the power of the federal government was being described as an issue of "states' rights" by those in the Democratic Party. Almost all of those were in the southern states. The northern states were all led by Republicans. This brings us to today, when most of the old South is controlled by Republicans and the Democrats are in control of the North and West.

Now, states such as California, Illinois, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington and Michigan are claiming to be "sanctuary states". Cities in those same states are claiming to be "sanctuary cities" where federal immigration laws don't apply. These are some of the same states that went to war to "Preserve the Union". What the hell happened?

Pardon me, schmucks, but you might want to pick up a history book. South Carolina tried to nullify federal tariffs during the Andrew Jackson administration. It didn't work out for them then, either. The first Civil War was fought to prove the supremacy of federal laws. Ironically, the states who believed that in 1861, now push the whole "sanctuary states" bullshit. I think this may be the best example of "flip flop" that I have ever seen.

After the war ended, people in the South gradually and finally accepted the concept of the supremacy of federal law. It only took a little more than one hundred years and the civil rights movement to do that. If you run into Gov. Orval Faubus or Gov. George Wallace in Hell, they can explain that to you. If they can't explain it, ask for MLK, he's there with them.

The irony of today's situation is that the states who went to war to preserve the supremacy of the federal government are now claiming to be ready to go to war over states' rights. They want the right to bring in cheap labor from abroad. You have to love the irony in this situation. The same states that "fought to set men free" have now decided that slavery is worth another try. If not slavery, at least "indentured servitude".

If you are unfamiliar with "indentured servitude", allow me to give you an example. Let's say that Gavin Newsome will offer some young Mexican man American citizenship, if he will first work for below legal wages for ten years as Newsome's "pool boy". Democrats' plans for immigrants are just a high grade, 21st century version of slavery. Dims aren't fighting to bring in doctors and computer programmers. See Nancy Pelosi's 'We need people to pick our crops...." comment for more details. These are the people whose ancestors sang "As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free" as they marched off to make war on the South. I can only assume that they have changed their minds. Flip, flop!

Why have people in the states that were on the winning side in the Civil War, suddenly have taken up the banner of "states' rights"? Because the eternal search for a class of people to do your dirty work has come to the surface in our nation in the 21st Century.

Why do people in the states of the Old South oppose this? Because we have experienced both sides of this discussion. The South was virtually destroyed in the Civil War. "Reconstruction" was Yankee propaganda. For more than 100 years after the war, the South struggled to rebuild. Northerners "helped" us by bringing textile mills and other manufacturing plants to the South. Did they do this to help their fellow Americans rebuild? Of course not.

Manufacturing has always been about the pursuit of cheap labor. Northern manufacturers took advantage of the distressed economy in the South to staff their mills with cheap labor. The manufacturers just didn't want people to staff their mills; they wanted to control their employees' entire lives. Research "mill villages" and "company towns" if you don't believe me.

In the 1950's and 1960's, cheaper labor became available in other countries. But after thirty or forty years of the onslaught of cheap Chinese shit, Americans decided that they wanted products built here in America. So, we started to increase US manufacturing. Today, instead of farming out industry, we are bringing in cheap labor to keep prices down. Instead of importing cheap goods, we are importing cheap labor. We have to learn Spanish so that we can keep shopping at the dollar store!

This is all complicated by government programs that pay people not to work. Combine that with programs like food stamps and free medical care and you have today's disaster. In their drive for political power, our "leaders" have forgotten the basic laws of human behavior.

This is the biggest principle of human and pet behavior: "Whatever you reward, you reinforce." If you give people money for not working, they aren't going to work. If you give people a place to live and feed them for crossing the border illegally, they are going to keep crossing the border illegally.

When I attended the University of Waffle House more than fifty years ago, I worked for a guy who was always trying to help people advance in the company. He did this because he said that it made his job easier. If When you screwed something up, he would talk to you about it. He always started with this. "The road that you are on is not going to take you to where you tell me that you want to go." From there, he would help you resolve your issues.

Before we end up in a new civil war that will kill millions, let's take a few deep breaths and learn from the past. The road that we are on is not going to take us to where we tell people that we want to go.

Friday Night Snark & More

California governor Greasy Gavin Newsome is still riding the "trans train". Somebody needs to introduce him to an actual scientist. Sorry Greasy, but the tranny train does not run to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Greasy is the only major candidate who still thinks that normal people (that means people outside of California) want boys in the girl's locker rooms.

I will be happy to lead a fund-raising drive for the first Senator or Representative who will introduce a  bill funding research into a vaccine for Trump Derangement Syndrome. Imagine the surge in Congressional productivity if they stopped wasting time trashing Trump. It's time to cure TDS!

Since most congressional Democrats seem to be talking out of their asses, let's require a mask on their ass to "slow the spread" of TDS. Following the lead of Dr. Fauci, let's require that they stay 10 feet away from each other to "slow the spread" of TDS. Only one can ride the elevator at a time. That would get Congress into better physical condition as they would have to take the stairs.

Joy Reid claims that "Jingle Bells" is "racist". This is because when it was written in the 1850's, it was performed by minstrels who sometimes used blackface. It started in that hotbed of old South racism, Boston, Massachusetts. Someone needs to break the news to Joyless Reid that the Star-Spangled Banner shares the tune of an old British drinking song. No word on the blackface on that one.

Last week I turned my phone off to avoid Penn State's search for a head football coach. Now, I am dodging the desperate people at the University of Michigan. Just as a side note, how does a guy coaching a college team with more than 100 players on the roster have the time for an affair? The guy they fired has a bright future. All that he needs to do is to start teaching time management classes!!

Judge Bozo Boasberg in Washington, DC is making a strong case for a single 5-year term for federal judges. What's the difference between God and a federal judge? God doesn't wake up in the morning thinking that he's a federal judge.

Representative Al Green of Texas needs to be tested for rabies or distemper. He is redefining "one trick pony" as all he wants to do is impeach Donald Trump.

Sen. Elissa Slotkin was an analyst with the CIA before becoming the Mindless Michigan Moron in the Senate. This helps explain why the CIA is wrong so often.

There are days that I just can't turn on the news. I just get tired of hearing the same shit over and over and over. Donald Trump has been in office for a little less than eleven months. He was elected to a four-year term. He's got a little over three years left. We have seen more of Donald Trump on television this year than we saw of Joe Biden in four years. People in the news media are causing me to question the value of the First Amendment as they spend their time telling lies, half-truths and blatant falsehoods. If those folks want to know why their ratings suck, it's because nobody wants to hear all of their lies. Throw me a bone, guys! Try for a little balance or at least throw in some facts. I am not at all interested in your opinions. Got any questions?

Just Thinking on Thursday?

University of Michigan coach Sherrone Moore was fired yesterday and then arrested and taken to jail. Those Michigan people really take losing a game to Ohio State pretty badly.

How stupid are judges? The judge in the trial of murderer Luigi Mangione has ruled that the media cannot take pictures of Mangione in shackles because it might influence the jurors. Will watching the video of the shooting be allowed as it may influence the jury?

One of the Altoona policemen testified that in searching Mangione's backpack, they founded a loaded magazine wrapped in wet pair of underwear. I really don't want any more details on that. No wonder police officers wear gloves for a search.

I have never been as happy to be a Methodist as I was when I found out that Jasmine Crockett attended an all-girls Catholic high school.

MSNBC NOW SHIT needs to go just ahead and pack it in. Nobody is watching, nobody cares what you think. Rachel Mad Cow appearing one day a week is only making it worse.

Senator Raphael Warnock of Georgia campaigned for Roy Cooper's U.S. Senate run here in North Carolina the other day.  I can only assume that Hunter Biden was too busy to make an appearance.

It's not "Affordable Care" if I have to pay for it for you. There is nothing affordable about the Affordable Care Act. The Inflation Reduction Act actually drove up prices and increased inflation. Democrats have a gift for mislabeling and misrepresentation or as we call it in the South, "Lying in Labeling".

Democrats are aflame about the United States seizing an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela. But they are okay with the federal government seizing the property of American citizens.

If Democrats were as concerned about the welfare of our children as they are about the safety and well-being of foreign narco-terrorists trying to smuggle drugs into our country, they might have a brighter future in politics.

If we counted all the paid anti-Trump protesters, the labor statistics on employment would be much better. Better yet, if we audited these folks to make sure that they were reporting this income, tax revenues would rise.

Just for the record, I don't give a rat's ass about how many "taps" it takes to wipe out a drug running boat and kill its crew!! Just kill them before they kill us!!

Walt Disney World is suing Orange County over what it claims is "excessive taxation". Apparently, Disney disagrees with the county's property valuations. Anyone who has bought an admission ticket from Disney for the parks needs to sue Disney for the same reason.

In the real world, the Senate and the House would have gone straight to work on a spending bill when the 43-day shutdown ended. You're on drugs if you think this is what happened. Democrats continue to insist that we keep paying for people's "Affordable" health insurance. They first passed this during the contrived COVID crisis. Memo to Dims: COVID is past tense.

Good news!! No one has been stabbed on Charlotte's Light Rail today.

Mid-Week Moans and groans

We could save law enforcement a lot of time and money if facial tattoos came with a complimentary tracking chip.

If illegal immigrants have all of the same legal rights as American citizens, then what is the value of American citizenship?

I keep hearing people talk about how illegals are paying income taxes and Social Security taxes but are not getting any of the benefits. First. if you buy a forged Social Security card and number so that you can work, you have caused that problem for yourself. Second, I have seen people who I thought might be illegal, claim excessive deductions on their W-4 form.  They do this to keep from having income taxes taken out of their check. When an 18-year-old tries to claim ten dependents, you can bet they are illegal. I would just give the form back to them and tell them that they could not claim that many dependents. Years ago, I had one guy who claimed that I was wrong and that he was entitled to all of those exemptions. I told him that I would take his I-9 form and his paperwork down to the Social Security office and have them validate that Social Security number for me. He changed the withholding form to one dependent. About three months later, I got a letter from Social Security telling me that the SS number and that name was not a match. The next day, I showed him the letter. He never came back.

Left wing loons claim that Europeans who came here starting in 1492 were "colonizers". So, are all of the people trying to come here now illegally also "colonizers"?

The House needs to start impeaching federal judges. We also need to end their lifetime jobs and pensions. The Constitution does not actually say that judges have lifetime jobs. Bonus complaint:  Nobody in the federal government should have a better pension than those who served in the military.

The Constitution says that federal judges can hold their jobs "during good behavior". The Supreme Court has interpreted this to mean lifetime jobs. I don't think that a ruling by judges about how long the same judges can serve has any legal validity. Don't waste your time telling me about how this has been going on for more than 200 years. I remember that slavery was legal for a long time, too. Lincoln ignored that. Why can't Trump or any other president ignore the rulings on the term lengths of judges?

Mamdani is assembling his team of criminals to run New York City. The good news for residents is that the New York National Guard is already on duty in New York City patrolling the subways.

I think that by 2030 the only political discussion left in this country will be to decide how many separate nations will be formed out of what is currently the United States. The Roman Empire broke up, the British Empire broke up, the Soviet Union broke up. The French, the Dutch, the Spanish and the Mongol Empire all broke up. The question isn't if it happens, the question is when it will happen.

Before you scoff at those observations, look at what has happened in the past and tell me why it won't or can't happen again.

Thanks for reading.

Top Tuesday Topics?

Weeks later, people are still ridiculing Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy for suggesting on television before Thanksgiving, that air travelers should dress a little better. In the interest of full disclosure, I will admit that I gave up traveling by air more than twenty years ago. I don't believe that you must be denuded of your dignity to get on a frigging airplane. But back to Duffy's suggestion, I actually agree with him. As you pick yourself up off the floor, I will explain.

When I was in junior high school and high school, we used to have "Dress Up Day" periodically through the school year. In the ninth grade, I asked a teacher why we had "Dress Up Day". She told us that students behaved better when they were better dressed. I asked the Dean of Boys later that day and he told me the same thing.

One of my favorite restaurants, the Angus Barn in Raleigh, has a dress code. Their dress code even covers hats that people are allowed to wear. If you think that this might affect their business, I will point out that their reservation list is completely booked for the holiday season. So maybe Secretary Duffy is on to something?

At a class reunion a few years ago, there was a dinner on Saturday evening as the main event of the weekend. The cost of dinner was $95 per person. Of the roughly ninety people who attended, several wore shorts. Interestingly enough, most of the women were dressed up. Secretary Duffy would have been pleased. There were three of four of the men present who wore a coat. Yes, I was one. I also wore my Dilbert tie, but that's another story. A male classmate asked me why I was wearing a coat. I explained the Jones Rules of Dress. If dinner is not served in a bag or box, you at least wear long pants. If dinner is over fifty dollars, you wear a coat. As the questioner was wearing shorts; he was not amused.

If you are skeptical about The Jones Rules of Dress, feel free to contact my children. Several years ago, I wanted to surprise my wife for our fortieth wedding anniversary. I made reservations for our family to have dinner at the Angus barn. I told my sons and other family members who were invited that the Jones Rules of Dress would be in effect for the gathering. If you guessed that everyone complied, go to the head of the class.

If Democrats were as concerned about the welfare of our children as they are about the safety and well-being of foreign narco-terrorists trying to smuggle drugs into our country, they might have a brighter future.

I saw a local news program the other night where they were interviewing Charlotte residents who ride the Light Rail. There were several who said that they would not even sit down on the train. They stayed standing to improve their chances of escaping criminals. Someone needs to forward this video to NC Governor Josh Stein.

Zohran "Commie Mamdani" has appointed a guy who served seven years in prison for robbing a taxi driver, as a "legal system consultant" in his administration. How long before he appoints a bank robber or a drug dealer as an "economic" adviser? That big flushing sound that you hear is New York City going down the shitter.

Let's go ahead and admit that "college football" is officially dead. We should forever ban the use of the term, "student-athlete". It's time to admit that what we have is professional teams sponsored by and representing various universities and colleges. I am looking forward to sponsoring the Random Moments of Lunacy Bowl game.

Senate Democrats have announced that they will not support a bill to fund medical research to find a cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome. However, some more moderate Democrats have indicated that they will support the funding for establishing Liberal Losers Anonymous, a group that will offer a twelve-step program to deal with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Watch for a chapter near you!!

I can see it now!! "My name is Chuck the Schmuck Schumer and I have TDS."

Monday Morning Meaningless Medley

 Yes, I love alliteration!

Penn State finally hired a head coach for their football team. I can turn my phone back on now. See Thursday's post "Thirteen Thursday Thoughts" if you don't understand this.

They announced the schedule of games for the College Football Championship Playoffs today. Nearby Duke University has the worst record of any team in the group. Even if they lose in the first round, they will have outperformed any preseason expectations. They surprised Virginia in the ACC championship game, maybe there's another surprise left in that team. Go Duke!!

That's my limit on sports for the month!

There's a process for everything in government. Members of the House and Senate who participate in anti-ICE protests cannot claim that they are just using their investigative authority. I am pretty sure that participating in an anti-ICE demonstration would be considered a violation of their oath of office. I am certain that their job is to uphold the law. If they don't like the law or agree with the law, there is a legislative process that they can use to change the law. I am pretty sure that screaming obscenities at ICE agents is not in the process prescribed for changing the law. You were elected to be a legislator, legislate the changes that you seek.

As long as we are on legislators, how about that Moron Mark Warner, the junior Senator from Virginia? The sad thing about Warner is that he is probably the smarter of Virginia's two Senators. Not every Senator is lucky enough to be paired with some other dumbass from their state like Tim Kaine. Tim should have resigned right after he ran with Hillary in 2016.

Moron Mark blamed the Trump Administration for taking almost a year to arrest a suspect in the attempted pipe bombing in DC on January 5, 2021. He also blamed government staffing cuts for causing to take so long to solve the case.

There are just a couple of flies in the ointment of Moron Mark's analysis. First, the Biden Administration was in office for four years and produced exactly zero arrests in the case. Forget about an arrest in the cases, how about the simple acknowledgment that they were even working on the case? Trump had been in power about ten (10) months before the feds made an arrest. So, by complaining that staffing cuts were the cause of how long it took to solve, then maybe Biden should have made some staffing cuts, and his guys could have solved it after ten months?

Moron Mark's remarks on staffing should be applied to the Senate and their staffing. Let's cut Senate staffing by about 50% and see what happens. Let's get Senators and Representatives to punch a time clock. We just spent several weeks in a government shutdown because the Congress could not get a budget deal passed. Congress should not adjourn for the holidays until they pass a spending bill. These guys are procrastinating professionals. The motto of the Senate apparently is something like "Why put off today what you can wait and put off tomorrow?" Pass a frigging spending bill!! Don't go home for the holidays until you do!!

Yesterday, I accompanied my wife to the local Wal-Mart. Wandering the store while my wife was shopping, I saw a display of pocketknives. Knives are an all-purpose gift in my world, so I stopped and picked up one that I liked. When I returned to the front of the store, my wife had already checked out so I went to the checkout. There was a guy training a woman in the self-checkout area. When I scanned the pocketknife, he came over with the trainee and said, "I need to see your driver's license."  I asked, "Why?" He said, "We have to make sure that you are over 18." I may have actually snarled at him and said, " I am 72 years old. I am a fat, old, bald guy and if you can't tell that I am over 18, then you're just too damn stupid to work here!" It went downhill from there. I opened my wallet and pointed to my driver's license. I said, "Now you have seen it." The woman said, "I couldn't see the year you were born." I told her, "I am 72, do the math." At that point the trainer took the trainee and decided to go learn something else. I headed out the door. About three hours later, I checked my blood pressure. I decided to wait until morning to write.

What did I learn today? Next time, just order the knife from Smoky Mountain Knife Works. It will be less stressful. I won't need my driver's license.

Let's take bets on the body count during the 2026 World Cup. Horse racing may be the sport of kings, but soccer spectating is the sport of coroners.

Sunday Morning Sage?

The state of Alabama has been placed on a suicide watch after the ass-whipping that the Crimson Tide took in the SEC Championship game yesterday against Georgia. Maybe Atlanta wasn't the best "neutral site" to play that game?

In other college football oddities, Duke beat Virginia in the ACC Championship football game. Duke probably has the worst record of any conference champion in the nation. This must be that "parity" that everyone always claims that they are always trying to find?

But enough about college sports, I feel my IQ sagging as the conversation goes on.

In political news, Gov. Tom Walz is upset that people in Minnesota are driving by his home and shouting the dreaded "R word". Here's a hint; they aren't chanting "Republican". They are following Trump's lead and calling Walz, "Retarded". Unable to offer any proof that Trump and the shouters are wrong, Walz has retreated to the much-feared Democratic practice of whining. Why not just do something that would prove them wrong? Start by taking action against the fraud happening in state government.

The Somalis in Minnesota and other states appear to be operating some sort of large criminal syndicate. Why doesn't government handle them like they do other criminal gangs? Why aren't Democrats like Tim the Retard doing something about this?

Don't worry Timbo, Gov. Josh Stein of North Carolina is giving you a run for the dreaded R-word King Award. Stein was the NC Attorney General for the past eight years and still claims that crime is under control in Charlotte. This despite the fact that the Charlotte police chief who resigned a few weeks ago, said that he "couldn't keep telling people that Uptown Charlotte was safe."

Governments keep playing games with the crime statistics so that things don't look so bad, but people can see the flashing lights on the streets and watch the news. You can't tell people that the city is safe as the bodies pile up.

A few weeks ago, ICE started Operation Charlotte's Web, so the leftists and their hired protesters took to the streets to interfere with ICE and the enforcement of federal laws. Did Governor Stein offer any state law enforcement officers to help ICE? Did he offer any help to keep protesters from interfering with ICE operations? Did he even speak out and tell protesters not to interfere with ICE agents? Of course not, because he is on the side of the illegal immigrants. I was going to say that he didn't speak out because he is some kind of leftist pussy, but maybe that is best left unsaid?

Thirteen Thursday Thoughts

By the end of the week, I will be the only American male who has not been offered the head coaching job at Penn State University.

If Bill Belichick never wins another game, he's still my hero! He's a year older than me and is sleeping with a 24-year-old.  Bill's striking a blow for old farts everywhere!!

Roy Cooper has officially filed to run for the US Senate. When our current Governor/Idiot Josh Stein ran for Attorney General in 2016, his dominant campaign promise was that he would clear up a big backlog of rape case kits in the NC Department of Justice. What he never mentioned was that his predecessor as Attorney General was Roy Cooper. Yes, Cooper was responsible for the backlog that Stein claimed to have cleaned up. Stein's campaign never ran an ad telling us that Cooper was responsible for the backlog. It's amazing how Democrats just gloss over the facts.

It's all about priorities. The City of San Francisco has filed a lawsuit against "Big Food" companies claiming that they are killing people with their products. In the meantime, they allow actual killers, robbers and rapists to run loose on their streets. Nobody is walking the streets of San Francisco worrying that someone is going to give them a bag of Cheetos.

In the special Congressional election the other day in Tennessee, the media is all agog because the Republican only won by a margin of about ten per cent. Trump carried the district by more than twenty points in 2024. Why doesn't someone point out that the Democratic candidate, who professed to hating Nashville, lost by less than half of what Kameltoe Harris did? Remember, figures don't lie, but liars can figure.

Judge Beryl Howell in the District of Columbia is a walking example of why we need terms for federal judges and a mandatory retirement age. We need to end the concept of "senior status". She's moved to the front of the line when the impeachment sweepstakes starts.

Liberal judges are all claiming that ICE cannot just ask people for proof that they are here legally. Meanwhile, across America today, tens of thousands of American citizens will be asked to produce their driver's license. Law enforcement officers routinely set up roadblocks where they ask people to produce their license but can't ask them to prove they are here legally. Make it make sense, Gavin!!

Democrats only want to fight wars where nobody gets killed. They want to protect people who are smuggling drugs into our country. Someone needs to point out to Dims that many of those young Americans getting killed by illegal drugs were probably potential Democratic voters.

Democrats are the "lawmakers" who are more concerned about the safety of drug smugglers than they are about the safety of American children.

I continue to believe that if Washington, Oregon and California will all just secede from the Union and form the COW Republic (California, Oregon, Washington), we would all be better off. The United States would lose half of our perverts and potheads in a single stroke. Those schmucks could then elect Gavin Newsome as King.

I realize that many people believe that IQ tests are somehow socially oppressive, but why does anyone with more than a room temperature IQ continue to live in that hellhole of California? The only place with a higher rate of low IQ folks than the Cow Republic is the Press Room at the White House.

When the next cycle of Congressional campaigns starts after Christmas (or earlier), I will support the first son of a bitch who promises to start impeaching federal judges.

Frankly, I would rather watch pigs make pork than watch a Cabinet meeting. But I have to admit that Trump is showing Democrats what democracy looks like. He has already held more Cabinet meetings than Sleepy Joe and Puppeteer Jill did in four years.

Adios K&W!!

For those reading this from outside of the Carolinas and Virginia, K&W Cafeterias abruptly shut down all of their locations on Monday, December 1. The television news shows, and the Internet are filled with folks who all claim to have been K&W customers and are stunned that they shut down.

In the interests of full disclosure, I actually ate at the K&W on two occasions. Both times involved my wife giving birth at a nearby hospital. So, barring some event marked by a special star in the sky, I ate my last meal at K&W long ago.

I have attempted to comment on this subject on several sites and have been banned from some as a result. Apparently, cafeterias are an even touchier topic than politics, religion and even sports. So, that reduces my available outlets to share my thoughts to this blog.

I spent more than fifty years working in the restaurant business. My first job was as a vendor at Tampa Stadium working for a company called Volume Services. I started there in 1968. Volume Services has ceased to exist, and the old Tampa Stadium was torn down in 1999. I don't remember participating in any mourning rituals for Volume Services.

I worked for Biff-Burger in 1970. I worked for the Ranch House chain in Florida. I worked at the restaurant at the Hawaiian Village Hotel in Tampa. I worked for the Rancher Restaurant in Tampa, a ripoff of the Ranch House. I managed a Lum's restaurant in Tampa. I was a manager for Casa Gallardo Mexican Restaurant & Bar, a part of the General Mills Restaurant group. I ran the Neon Diner. What do all of these restaurants have in common? They are all gone. None are in business today. Yet my life marches on.

Cafeterias are an endangered species. I can't remember the last time that I read about a new cafeteria opening. The primary customer base for cafeterias today is old people. It's cold, but true, old people are dying faster than cafeterias can replace them in their customer base. No customers, no sale. No sales, no profits. No profits, no business. Surely, even the slow among you understand this chain of events.

Why aren't there more cafeterias? The next time that you meet with Archie, Jughead and Betty at the malt shop, you should discuss this. When I was a kid, we loved to go to the soda fountain at Cox's Drug Store at the corner of Columbus Drive and North Boulevard in Tampa. If you guessed that Cox's is no longer there, go to the head of the class. You can get extra credit for telling me which CVS or Walgreen's has a soda fountain today.

It's more than cafeterias and soda fountains. In the 1950's and even in the 1960's, there were drive-ins across the land. How many car hops do you currently know who are still working? In the 1970's, there were fish and chips restaurants everywhere. Been to an Arthur Treacher's lately?? In a completely unrelated story, there were two locations of Churchill's Fish and Chips in Tampa in the 1970's. I really liked their food, but apparently my business wasn't enough to keep them afloat. I don't recall any public mourning period for Churchill's.

In the late 1960's, the surge was budget steak house chains. The names all had a "western" theme and name. We had Sizzler, Western Sizzlin', Ponderosa, Bonanza, York Steak House and countless others. By the 1970's we had expanded to chains like Ryan's, Quincy's, Steak and Ale, Beefsteak Charlies, Brewmasters and Mr. Steak. When was the last time that you bellied up to the salad bar at one of those places? I am going to give credit to Golden Corral for surviving. They did that by giving up on being a steakhouse and became a "slop 'til you drop" buffet.

So, what's the point of all of this? The restaurant business is not a static place. People's tastes change regularly. If you aren't staying ahead of the curve, you will run off the road. K&W was trying to swim upstream.

RIP K&W.

I'm just a tired, old, White guy

A Democrat, who by her own admission hates Nashville, Tennessee is running to represent that city in Congress. If she wins, they will get what they deserve.

Yesterday, assassin Luigi Mangione was in court trying to get evidence against him disallowed from the trial. Lawyers for Mangione claim that they are trying to make sure that he gets a fair trial. What kind of fair trial did Brian Thompson get before Mangione shot and killed him in New York?

I am not an attorney, nor do I play one on television. But in regard to Mangione's arrest, I watched hundreds of arrests while working at the Waffle House. The police are searching your ass and any bags that you are carrying before they put you into a police car. It's a safety measure for the police and the person being arrested. They don't need a search warrant to search you or the bag you are carrying. Ask any wino! This issue was resolved long ago.

In Minnesota, the famed retard Governor Tim Walz has apparently presided over more than a billion-dollar fraud scheme for the past five or six years. What's the good news? At least, the American people were smart enough not to vote for that crooked retard for Vice-President. What more can I say about retard Tim? Obviously, Democrats don't believe in vetting anyone for any job. As if we needed any more evidence after they nominated Kamala Harris.

Memo to famed retard Tim Walz: Stop making public statements on national television. It is said that the television camera adds about 30 IQ points to your appearance. That still leaves you in double digits, Timbo. This isn't your best look, homie.

Walz is so dumb that he has accomplished the previously believed impossible task. He is making Kamala Harris look like an intellectual.

If there is a sane Democrat living in this country, please ask them to tell Sen. Mark Kelly to shut up and go away. He is making retired naval officers look like dumbasses or Minnesota governors.

The high school football coach in Virginia who has been missing for a couple of weeks has still not been found. They have charged him with several counts involving child pornography. If he is found alive, he should be castrated after conviction.

I have eaten the last of the Thanksgiving turkey. The Christmas season has officially started at the Jones house. I have committed to shopping early this year. I will do my shopping on December 23. Yeah, that's actually early for me. It's a lot easier to shop closer to Christmas. It's much easier to choose a gift as there is not as much left on the shelves.

Bored on Monday afternoon, I watched Trump Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, answer stupid questions from even more stupid people in the White House Press Corps. Reporters are obsessed with Trump's health. Trump has answered more questions and given reporters more access in the first ten months than Dementia Joe did in four full years. When Biden was President, nobody in the press corps even asked for proof that Biden was alive. I guess that they didn't want to stump KJP or Jen Suckey..

Monday Morning Meanness??

Liberals are outraged this week that Trump referred to Gov. Tim Waltz as "the seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz". I can understand that retarded people would be upset with Trump for grouping Tim Walz with them. Long ago, I had a cousin with Down's Syndrome. My aunt, his mother, would often talk about him as being retarded. You could say that sixty years ago because people were honest. Today, liberals all want us to lie to keep us from offending other liberals. They don't really care about the people involved.

In other opinions, I can't believe that Trump failed to use terms like "Communist", "limp wristed", "brain dead" and "wannabe guy" to describe wispy, wimpy Walz.

I am bald. I don't recall anyone ever referring to me as "follicle impaired".

I read today that Zachery Ty Bryan had been arrested again this week. Apparently. the actor, who played Brad Taylor on Home Improvement, has made a career of domestic violence and drunk driving.  The only affect this arrest had on me was when I read that he is 44 years old. It seems like just yesterday that he was some kid always in trouble on Home Improvement. I guess that nothing has really changed.

If the Democrats are telling military personnel to not obey "illegal orders", can they at least tell us what illegal orders have been issued? Did Biden ever "autopen" any illegal orders? Did Dr. Jill ever direct any military member to do anything? Since Dr. Jill was not a military officer, that would have been an illegal order. How about Hunter? Did he order anyone to hide his stash?

You know that it is going to be a horseshit evening on television when you turn on "The Five" and Jessica Tarlov is on. I switched to the American Picker reruns. As least the tattooed woman knows when to shut up.

Thanksgiving is in the rear-view mirror; I think that Christmas may be the day after tomorrow. Or at least, that is how it seems.

I read The American Spectator daily. They put out a print edition two or four times a year. Other than that, they are like every other rag, available online. One of their writers has a morning newsletter that shows up on weekdays in my e-mail. This morning, there was an item claiming that Gallup shows that Trump is nearing his lowest poll numbers in history. They would have more credibility had they cited the Easter Bunny. What's the difference between Santa Claus and polls? I don't believe in polls!

Pollsters question about 1000 people in a nation of more than 350 million and claim that those results are an accurate sampling. That's bullshit, of course!  According to some Americans, 1000 people is not even one of each gender or national origin. Polls are not used to report on public opinion, they are used to drive public opinion. This is like herding sheep. I have never been contacted by a pollster for a political poll. No one that I know has ever told me about being polled. Where do all of the polled masses reside?

Luigi Mangione's lawyers are claiming that the police searched his bag illegally as he sat in McDonald's with a pistol and a silencer. The police should have treated Luigi like he treated his victim and shot the son of a bitch on sight.

Had to get all of that out of my system before writing my letter to Santa.
