The Last Blast of 2024

Proving that P.T. Barnum was right. they are expecting a million people to gather in Times Square tonight to welcome the New Year in New York. I guess that these are people who can't get robbed or pissed on by a stranger in their own town.

If Trump wants to drive the Dems over the edge, he should ride in the Inaugural Parade on that garbage truck that he used in Wisconsin. Maybe he could get McDonalds to supply a Ronald McDonald to hand out coupons for free fries after the parade.

Joe Biden has ended his Caribbean vacation and returned to Washington. If he can go the 20 days until Inauguration Day without another vacation, that may be his longest stretch without a vacation day in the last four years.

It's time to end "home rule" in Washington, DC. It is an experiment that has failed miserably. The capital city should be a model for the nation. It's not. They need new leadership there. They can start by turning Black Lives Matter Plaza into All Lives Matter Plaza. Then they can run off the criminals who weren't elected to government jobs.

I saw that a deal had been made that gives the District of Columbia government control of the old RFK stadium. Who understands that? It must have something to do with the great job they have done with the rest of the District of Columbia.

Maybe they could host a college football bowl game in the old stadium. I can see it now, the Kickback and Corruption Bowl. The losers go to jail, the winners go to the Senate.

Let's give everything but the federal buildings and monuments in DC back to Maryland. They gave Arlington County back to Virginia long ago. What's the worst that could happen?

Trump needs to meet with the Republicans in the House of Representatives and tell them to check their egos at the door. Elect a Speaker of the House and get to work. Republicans in the House are like confused Mafia members who threaten to break their own legs.

The homes of commoners have been being burglarized while they are out of town forever in this country. Now, athletes and actors are having their homes burglarized and suddenly burglaries are a huge problem. I have put all of my trophies into a vault.

Trump should have some law enforcement group other than the Secret Service to bring in their drug sniffing dogs and go over the White House after the Bidens leave. Hunter may have forgotten to check one of his hiding places before getting on the bus.

Congress and Biden are afraid that TikTok ownership is supplying data to the Chinese Communists. While they worry about how dangerous TikTok might be, most of our computers and cellphones are being manufactured in China. The Chinese are already getting all of the data they need. Why hasn't Congress passed a law mandating production of all computers here in the United States?

I am amazed at how the National Archives has finally located and released photographs of Biden meeting with Hunter and his Chinese business associates. I had guessed that they wouldn't find anything until January 21.

I saw a great article that claimed Tim Walz is a clone of Alan Hale Jr, the Skipper on Gilligan's Island. The Skipper's estate is reportedly suing Walz.

Does anyone know what Kameltoe Harris is going to do after January 20? Is there anyone who really cares? How long after Biden leaves office will the announcement about dementia come out?

Sundry Sunday Sarcasm

If you believe the claims about the Russian casualties in the Ukraine, do a little research about the casualties that the United States claimed that the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese had suffered in the Vietnam war. There was even a Doonesbury cartoon strip that questioned the casualty numbers. In the strip, a US captain is on the radio and is asked for a body count on dead enemy soldiers. He turns to a private and asks, "What day is it?" The private responds, February 15, sir." The captain says on the radio, "Fifteen enemy dead, sir!" This is probably the same technique that the Ukrainians are using in their war with Russia. That cartoon strip was published on February 15, 1972. Some things never change.

I ended up at Cone Urgent Care last Sunday with an ailment. In the exam room, the doctor asked me if I was taking any GLP-1 medications. I told her, "That shit is poison. My doctor had me try Ozempic in 2020. I have Type 2 diabetes, and it was originally a treatment for that. You had to start with a half dose for two or three weeks, then move up to the full dose. The first dose made me sick the day I took it. The next week, I took it and was sick thirty minutes later. I called the doctor's office and talked to his nurse. She told me that she would make a note in my file and that the doctor would discuss discontinuing the medication with me on my next visit. I explained that I didn't need to wait for the doctor to make a decision about my medications, I wasn't going to take it again. On my next visit, we discussed it. I explained to him that at a Zig Ziglar seminar 35 years earlier, I had heard Zig say, "You didn't get fat taking pills, you aren't going to get skinny and stay skinny by taking pills."

At the end of my tirade, the Urgent Care doctor looked at me and said, "So you aren't taking any GLP-1 meds?" I looked at her and said, "You can either write down NO or I can tell you the story again. You pick." She just laughed and wrote.

The new diet drugs are going to make a few people rich for life and a lot of people skinny for a few days. There's a hook in those new diet drugs that is going to drag somebody's ass to a slab in the morgue.

Why do Republicans in Congress think that they can find a Speaker of the House who will do everything that they want? Do you agree with your spouse on everything? If you are a Republican Congressional member, write this down. You aren't going to always get everything that you want in life. Trump needs to meet with that cast of clowns and explain the realities of political life with them.

If President Trump can compromise on something, why can't some schmuck in the Congress? That question applies to both sides.

Matt Gaetz is still the legally elected Congressman from his district in Florida. He has the legal right to show up on January 3 and be sworn into office. He has to be sworn into an office for his new term in order to resign. Don't waste your time telling me about rules on members after they found a Texas representative in a dementia treatment facility after she missed the last six months of work. Her office never told anyone. They just kept posting "tweets" and sending announcements to their constituents. Thank God she wasn't re-elected. That validates the whole idea about someone other than Scranton Joe doing the work of the President of the United States.

Like "The Squad" in the Democratic Party, the "Freedom Caucus" in the Republican Party is the tail that is trying to wag the dog. While I agree with them on many issues, somewhere early in life, Mom told us that we weren't always going to get everything we wanted and that we needed to get used to it. Life is about compromise. If you don't believe this, get married.

Apparently, the recent death of a homeless woman set afire by an illegal alien, demonstrates that there is not a pair of balls to be found among all of the District Attorneys in the State of New York.

There are many who believe that God gives women either beauty or brains. He gave New York Governor Kathy Hochul neither. We don't even need to mention New York Attorney General Letitia James, everybody already knows.

Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina will be up for re-election in 2026. That's good news for Trump as Tillis will have to do his impression of a conservative for the next two years. Anything to keep Roy Cooper out of the United States Senate. Thom barely beat Cal Cunningham a few years ago and Cunningham was so stupid that he had an affair with a woman and used the bedroom he shared with his wife to consummate said affair. I guess that there weren't any rooms available at the Motel 6. Cal should have run on a platform of being as frugal with the public's money as he was with his own money.

If I didn't have enough political reasons to despise Thom Tillis, he has grown something that resembles a beard on his face. Sorry, I am just not a fan of facial hair. It's just another reason to hate Thom.

Finally, with Lying Biden headed for the exit, the government is releasing pictures of Scranton Joe meeting with Hunter's business partners in China. What else have they lied about? The Watergate guys were rank amateurs compared to the Biden Gang.

Saturday Morning Confusion, the Encore

I am not a big fan of college sports because I don't believe that is what colleges are for. Having said that, I am confused about all of the realignment of college sports conferences in the last few years. In North Carolina, the Atlantic Coast Conference was actually established in Greensboro and consisted of schools from Maryland to Georgia. I looked at something yesterday and found that the ACC now includes Stanford and the University of California at Berkley. I am pretty sure that those schools are on the Pacific coast. I complained about that to an acquaintance who is a big ACC fan, and he told me, "What's 3000 miles between friends?"

How long before the federal government makes the Christmas holiday the fourth Monday in December? Will New Year's Day be the first Monday in January? It makes as much sense as anything else that they have done.

Manhattan DA (Dumb Ass) Alvin Bragg has created the Daniel Penny effect by prosecuting Penny for restraining a mentally ill man from attacking helpless passengers on the subway. Videos of a woman set on fire by an illegal immigrant on the subway show people and even a policeman just walking by the woman as she burned to death. Alvin Bragg's prosecution of Penny is the obvious reason for the lack of reaction. That and the "I don't care" attitude of Yankees. I wouldn't visit New York to win a bet.

The one hundred or so college football bowl games being played this year reinforces my belief that it's time to shut down college sports. That's a strong comment in an area where many people identify college basketball as their primary religion.

The House Republicans are America's biggest dysfunctional family. How long before they have their own weekly show on cable? I am talking about real television, not that C-Span shit. I think that Big Daddy Don needs to head down Pennsylvania Avenue and administer some disciplinary measures. It's time to herd the cats!

I heard some alleged news reporter talking about the notorious Congresswoman AOC and claiming that a lot of Republicans actually get along with her on a personal level. I am reminded that Hitler was famous for his after-dinner jokes.

Big Mike (Michelle) Obama has put out a new video message about the situation in America today. I am certain that we never elected Big Mike to any political position. She needs to take her large, manly ass back to her poverty palace in Martha's Vineyard and nag Barack.

Speaking of "poverty palaces", I saw where the Southern Poverty Law Center is laying off some of their employees. I guess that you can only sing the same song for a limited number of years. Having labeled everyone else in America as racists and haters, they ran out of people to malign and defame. They started down the road to failure when they fired their founder, Morris Dees. Their attitude of moral superiority knows no bounds.

I like the "Gutfeld" show on Fox News Channel. He's also on "The Five", which is one of my wife's favorite shows. He's been out for more than a month now since his wife had a baby. I guess that we won't hear anymore from Gutfeld about liberal men and paternity leave. Maybe he can compare notes with Pete Buttigieg?

I watched the group on "The Five" talk about group chats and group texts the other day. I rarely get involved in group "anything". I have been banned from most of the social media sites. That's why you have to come here to read this swill.

Let's just go ahead and take back the Panama Canal Zone.

Merry Christmas!!

As a child with a loud voice and good memorization skills, I was in demand for Christmas programs as a narrator. I was not as good as Linus in the Charlie Brown Christmas show, but I was pretty good. The Birth of Christ is shared in other books of the Gospel, but none compare to the simple eloquence of Luke. So, I am sharing this with you.

The Birth of Jesus

2 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.

4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,

and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Festivus 2024- The Airing of Grievances

Somewhere in a Seinfeld rerun on some station, the Festivus pole is up at the Costanza house. It's time now for the airing of the grievances. I don't want to mess with a rerun tradition, so here we go with the RMOL airing of the grievances.

I am tired of a country being run by a guy who doesn't know that he is the President. Demetia Joe ran for President at least three times before he won, admittedly in an election which had millions of questionable ballots. By the time Joe won, he didn't have enough active brain cells to grasp that he had won.

Of course, it didn't matter that Joe had actually won because he was just a hand puppet for Barry Obama of Indonesian birth and Hollywood fortune. At least in 2024, Obama was denied his fourth term by Donald Trump carrying the day with the MAGA movement.

Only a Democrat finds the phrase "Make America Great Again" to be offensive. Kamala failed to carry the day with her "Make America Mediocre Again" tour. That's why the broads on The View called her MAMA-la. If you didn't get that, read it again or click your way out.

Kamala and her Communist friends spent $1.5 billion and came up empty. Apparently, you can't always buy elections. But that may or may not apply to Chicago.

Kamala's campaign donated half a million dollars to race hustler Al Sharpton's group a few hours before he interviewed her on television. In the 1950's and 1960's this would have been labeled as "payola", but that law apparently only applies to white folks. So, it could still apply to Kamala? Now that she has lost the election, will the press interview her father again? Dad says that they aren't black.

The other day in New York, an illegal immigrant killed a woman on the subway by setting her on fire. There is a rumor that Democrats in New York will file federal charges against the killer this week so that Biden can pardon him before January 20.

Trump should appoint Daniel Penny as his ambassador to New York City since they are now officially a Third World country. We should treat them like every other tin pot dictatorship.

Meanwhile, in New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul published a "tweet" claiming that crime in the subway has dropped dramatically since she ordered the New York National Guard to patrol the subway system. This came about seven hours after the woman was burned to death. We are compelled to redefine "tone deaf" to cite Kathy Hochul as the worst case known to man. Of course, a few hours later she doubled down on her claims about crime just to prove that she was more than tone deaf, she was the dumbest broad in New York. In a state with Latitia James, that's a big statement.

Does Biden have a deal with Trump for Trump to pardon him on January 20? If Trump pardons all of those involved in the January 6 case, will that include Liz Cheney? Will Biden pardon Trump? Will Biden pardon Obama and Hillary Clinton? There's four weeks of Biden left to find out!!

Who knew that Mayor Brandon Johnson of Chicago was a graduate of the Joe Biden School of Governance? Johnson has done so much wrong in Chicago that people are overlooking all of the progress that he has made in race relations. Regardless of race, the majority of Chicago residents want his ass out of office. WOW! Finally, some racial unity in the Windy City.

College football has expanded the playoff system this year. Like college basketball, they are playing so many games that no one will watch them all. It's all about money in a game that purports to be played by "student-athletes". Yeah, right.

Rolling with that theme, Herschel Walker received his college degree this month, only 42 years after leaving school to play pro football. Herschel did much better than I did in college, I left before orientation was over.

This is the 46th Christmas together for my beloved and I. She doesn't read this swill, but just in case she strays across it, I Love You, Sweetie!!!

And to the rest of you, Happy Festivus!!

Monday Miscellany

The Biden administration is trying to spend every dollar that the government can borrow before January 20. Just another reason to despise those liberal bastards.

Seen in a yard on US 58 east of Danville, Virginia was a large sign that read, "Jesus is my Savior, Trump is my President."

TikTok is trying to fight the law that Congress passed requiring that they be sold to a new owner to get control away from the Chinese. I can't figure out what the difference is between TikTok being operated by Communists and Facebook and other social media sites being operated by liberals. Are the Communists too conservative for Dims?

Former Maryland governor Larry Hogan identified the constellation Orion as a drone. Orion is actually one of the few constellations that I can easily pick out in the sky. I am left with the only logical conclusion that I can come up with; Hogan doesn't know what a drone looks like.

Thousands of years ago people would look up at the sky and try to imagine what those stars and planets were. In 2024, we are doing the same thing with drones.

I heard some Democratic politician claim that we need illegal immigrants "to pick our crops and other jobs that Americans won't do." I think that we can solve that by ending payments and handouts to Americans who won't work. It's a story about the survival of the fittest. If people won't make an effort to work, let's stop making any efforts to feed, house and clothe the lazy.

The liberal press claims that Trump is going to put them all in jail. While I personally love the idea. the reality is that Trump isn't the one lying to the public. The liberal media and their butt buddies, the Dims are the ones who have spent the last four years protecting their friends who are destroying the United States.

There are some Republicans who never got the memo that the "Country club Republican Party" is dead and need to wake up or seek other employment. Somebody on Mitch's staff needs to write that down.

Is the drone controversy going to last longer than a Middle East war? Biden is the Commander-in-Chief. It's time for him to call Lazy Lloyd over at the Pentagon and tell him that he has a week to clear it up.

Pennsylvania should refuse to extradite Luigi Magione, the Unibrow shooter, to New York City. Bragg will release him without bail and use Judge (?) Juan Merchaun to handle the case. With that crew of clowns, Mangione will be home in time for this year's Super Bowl.

There are rumors that Kamala Harris may be the leading Democratic candidate for President in 2028. Yes, their bench is that empty.  They may be able to avoid this by getting her elected Governor of California in 2026. Just a reminder that the last Vice President to lose a Presidential election and then two years later run for Governor of California was Richard Nixon. He lost.

I would be willing to kick in a few bucks for his legal expenses if Daniel Penny would sue Alvin Bragg for malicious prosecution. At least, sue the fat bastard in federal court for violating his civil rights.

Sunday Sarcasm

Luigi Mangione, the Manhattan killer, is obviously a member of the notorious "Unibrow Gang".

Still courting military voters, Biden has announced that he will pardon every player who was penalized in yesterday's Army-Navy game,

Nancy Pelosi fell while visiting Europe. Her doctor said that if not for those massive breast implants, she would have broken her nose as well as her hip.

The bigger question about Pelosi is "Who was she shaking down for a campaign contribution in Luxembourg?" Maybe she is just getting ready to invest in some companies in Luxembourg? Pardon me, she has no investments. Those all belong to her husband, Paul. Nancy's only investments are silicone and plastic surgeons.

Joe Biden attended one Army-Navy game as Vice-President. He has not attended a game as President. I don't think that anybody noticed that he wasn't there yesterday. I was a little disappointed that Jill didn't show up wearing red and hang out with the Trump group.

I never thought that I would write these words, but I actually agree with something that Elton John said the other day. He told Time magazine this about marijuana, "I maintain that it’s addictive. It leads to other drugs. And when you’re stoned—and I’ve been stoned—you don’t think normally. Legalizing marijuana in America and Canada is one of the greatest mistakes of all time."

I gave up on doing the Twelve Days of Christmas thing for my wife after our old hound dog bagged the "partridge in the pear tree" out in the front yard.

Bill Belichick has been announced as the new football coach at UNC-Chapel Hill. I forecast a surge in current UNC players entering the NCAA transfer portal. I don't think that those guys are ready for someone with Belichick's demeanor.

Martha McCallum verbally ripped John Kirby a new asshole on Friday afternoon on Fox. She was discussing the drone sighting crisis with Kirby when he said that they couldn't shoot down a drone over residential areas where debris might fall. McCallum then asked why they couldn't shoot down one of the thirty drones that a Coast Guard ship reported were following them out at sea. Kirby failed to answer that question. For a guy his age, Kirby is one hell of a tap dancer when it comes to answering questions. Between Kirby and KJP, January 20 can't get here quickly enough.

Is it just a coincidence or are the drone sightings mostly over states that are more anti-gun than other states? Drones fill the skies in New Jersey, but no one has seen one over Alabama or Texas. Just saying.

Thanks to Joe Biden for his recent plethora of pardons. He's made it okay for Trump to pardon all of the Jan 6 folks without shocking anyone.

There was life before Daylight Saving Time. I am with Trump, let's eliminate it.

What's another term for female Viagra? A diamond.

It's only taken 18 years?

The other day, Crystal Mangum finally admitted that she fabricated the entire story in the Duke Lacrosse case back in 2006. She's currently in a North Carolina prison for second-degree murder for killing her husband.

The Duke lacrosse case happened in 2006. It cost Duke University millions of dollars in legal settlements as they had jumped to liberal conclusions before taking the time to look at the evidence and let the legal process play out. Instead, they ended up paying $20 million each to Reade Seligman and the other two players who were charged. They also had to settle with the coach.

I published a few posts about this case on my blog. That was back in the early days. You can find my favorite post and the most viewed by readers at Random Moments of Lunacy: Reade Seligmann- Twins? Or the longest schlong in Durham??

The DA in the case, Lying Mike Nifong, was removed from office and served a day in jail for his actions in this case. He was also disbarred. He also was sued by several of the lacrosse player and was forced into bankruptcy. Like every other guilty lawyer, he wrote a book in 2014 about the case. I saw a copy at a Goodwill store and passed it up at the price of a dollar. I don't know where Nifong is today, but he never applied for a job at Bojangles while I was there.

The bottom line for the whole story is that liberals need to be fair and examine all of the evidence before reaching a conclusion. They need to do what they are always telling the rest of us to do.

Here's a link to my first post about the Duke Lacrosse case: Random Moments of Lunacy: Who knew lacrosse could be so interesting??

Are you having flashbacks to the Tawanna Brawley case which was famed race hustler Al Sharpton's big break?

Jones Moans and Groans about Drones

Drones are the hottest subject on the news this week. The stupidity and arrogance of the federal government is on public display on every news cast. State and local governments are in the position of dumbing up to catch up to the feds.

The Governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy, told his citizens that that they have no idea what the lights in the skies over New Jersey actually are, but he can assure residents that they don't represent any danger to the people of New Jersey. Ancestry.com reports that Phil Murphy's grandfather was the night watchman at Pearl Harbor in December of 1941.

John Kirby, retired admiral and now Biden's national security spokesman, claims that most of the sightings are just commercial aircraft. So, Kirby's belief is that people who live near New York City have lived there for years and have suddenly started noticing that there are airplanes in the sky. Does that even sound like something we can believe? Did Kirby just start believing that voters are stupid?

If these are actually commercial airplanes, why can't the FAA simply show us the flight plans of those aircraft and show that they match up to what people have seen? That sounds easy enough, but we are dealing with the federal government.

I don't want to disagree with the intellectuals in the federal government, but some of those pictures show lights moving around in movements that a commercial aircraft cannot make.

Jeff Van Drew, Republican congressman from New Jersey, spoke out a couple of days ago about this. He claimed that the drones are from Iran, and they are based on a ship out in the Atlantic. He was ridiculed by Biden Administration hacks and other liberals. Today, even Dims are speaking out in support of this possibility. You have to love the media. A guy is a nutcase one day and 36 hours later, he is in the mainstream. Apparently, you are only a kook until a liberal picks up the story and agrees with you.

More than 23 years ago, four commercial aircraft were hijacked and used as weapons on September 11. They destroyed the World Trade Center buildings and damaged the Pentagon. The government is unwilling to learn from history.

The Biden Administration are the same folks who let an enormous Chinese spy balloon transit the United States before they finally took action after the balloon cleared Myrtle Beach. What are they waiting for this time? The obvious answer is that they are waiting for January 20 to get here.

Finally, every year the military spend billions of dollars testing secret projects that we are not told anything about. They have an enormous secret budget for secret projects and weapons. When a U-2 was shot down over the Soviet Union more than sixty years ago, the government denied that we had anything to do with it. That story lasted until Gary Powers' picture turned up in Pravda. We are being lied to by a government of arrogant bad liars. Some things never change.

Memo to BLM New York: STFU

Today in New York City, the jury acquitted Daniel Penny in the case of the death of Jordan Neely. The manslaughter charges against Penny had been dismissed on Friday.

Today, Walter "Hawk" Newsome, who purports to be a leader of Black Lives Matter in New York, spread his message of hate and division after the case against Penny ended with Penny's acquittal. Newsome is as mentally deranged as any other race baiter or even a Klansman. Newsome hates white people like Klansmen hate black people.

A woman from the BLM group attacked the jury for acquitting Penny. She claimed that when they saw that nine of the jurors were white, they knew that they would let Penny off. She failed to mention that three of the jurors were not white and how the jury reached a unanimous verdict.

Jordan Neely's father filed a civil suit against Penny while the jury deliberations were going on last week. He needs millions of dollars to soothe his pain. What did Jordan's father, Andre Zachary, do for him during the last seven years? In those seven years, Jordan was arrested 42 times in the city of New York. There are reports that Jordan Neely was in the top fifty on a list of the mentally ill walking the streets of New York. What did Andre do to help his son? If he believes that Black Lives Matter, what did he do? What did Hawk Newsome do to help Jordan Neely? What did the black community do to help Jordan Neely? What did the rest of Neely's family do to help him? Why didn't the folks at Black Lives Matter reach out and help Jordan Neely?

The answer to all of those questions is simple. Because they just don't care. The BLM people don't want to actually help black people, they just want to blame white people. The BLM movement is not about helping anyone. It is all about blaming someone else for the bad decisions that you made. It's just a message of hate. BLM didn't do anything to help Jordan Neely. Memo to BLM: STFU and go back to your hole!!

The entire case against Daniel Penny was just another one of Fat Alvin Bragg's "show trials". Bragg needs to put being a fair District Attorney ahead of being a black man. For a guy with a Harvard education, Bragg does a lot of stupid stuff. If the State of New York had a real governor, the governor would relieve Alvin Bragg of his responsibilities. But Kathy Hochul is a graduate of clown college and won't do that.

The facts are that Jordan Neely boarded that subway car and announced that someone was going to die. Daniel Penny, the token white guy, took action. The subway car was filled with blacks and Hispanics. There were more white folks on that jury than there were in that subway car. Why didn't Bragg talk about Neely threatening all those folks of color on that train?

Daniel Neely is a Marine. He had been trained in how to kill people. When the police arrived, Jordan Neely was still breathing. That was more than six minutes after Penny subdued Neely. If Penny had wanted to kill Neely, it would have only taken a couple of minutes. He was just holding him for the police. The damage that he caused to Neely's throat was not what it could have been if Penny wanted to kill him. By the way, check Neely's criminal record for assaults. It doesn't look like Bragg checked and if he did, he pretended that it didn't matter.

What if Neely had killed someone? Would Bragg have pursued him as aggressively as he did Penny? Of course not, Neely was black. If Neely had been white, no one would have been charged. The Borough of Manhattan has a racist as their District Attorney and no one is calling for him to be removed.

Penny needs to sue the State of New York and Alvin Bragg. By the way, do you think that Bragg will ever do anything about the threats against the public that BLM leaders are making?

Sundry Sunday Shots

Democrats are talking about the need for Joe Biden to pardon Dr. Anthony Fauci before Biden leaves office. Since pardons are for people who have committed crimes, President Biden needs to tell us more about Dr. Fauci. How much money has Fauci taken from pharmaceutical companies? What has he done with the Chinese? Inquiring minds, which doesn't include Democrats, want to know.

Other names floated for Presidential pardons are Gen. Mark Milley, Liz Cheney and Adam Schiff. Democrats claim that Trump will seek retribution against these folks and other Dims. Democrats claim that Trump will seek to jail these folks. So, Democrats think that Trump will do exactly what they did to him?

I don't have a problem with President Biden exercising his right to pardon people. But I think that he should first tell us what crime they committed for which he is giving them a pardon.

There is a problem with drones buzzing an area in New Jersey near New York City. The FBI is asking anyone who knows about this to contact them. No one seems to know anything about these drones. We have eighteen (18) intelligence agencies in the federal government, and no one knows anything? We need to ask for refunds on our tax money that these folks have wasted. Are the Air Force and the Army on vacation?  Are the Chinese out of weather balloons? I would ask about Biden, but I saw that picture of him falling asleep at that conference in Angola and realized that I would just be wasting my time.

Nothing says "out of touch" like nodding off at the head table at some kind of political conference. If anyone at the Secret Service had been thinking, they would have run up to him with the doctor and slapped the paddles on him and acting like he was having a heart attack. That would have been "making lemonade out of lemons".

Unless Biden dies before January 20, there won't be any Kamala sightings to report. Maybe she is the one with the drones? Are Dims giving drone rides to make up that big campaign cash shortfall?

Trump has added a golf swing to his dance routine. I am fascinated to see video clips of NFL players imitating Trump in their scoring celebrations. Who knew that black players would act like the alleged racist, Mr. Trump? Maybe the Dims or their accomplices in the major news media could explain that.

They call him "Greasy" Gavin Newsom, because "lying son of a bitch" can't make the cut on national television. He made his first appearance of the 2028 campaign season the other day at the border with Mexico.  Did Kamala leave a bottle of wine at the border for him? One commentator referred to Newsom as " a young Joe Biden".

If United Health Care wanted to find the guy who killed their CEO, they would offer a one million dollar reward for information leading to his arrest. They would have him within a couple of hours. Why haven't they offered a reward? Was this an inside job? The silence from UHC is unusual.

How long before Sen. John Fetterman leaves the Dims and becomes an Independent?

When I travel to Moultrie for car shows, I see a lot of "solar farms". There is a huge solar farm beside I-75 south of Macon. Georgia Power likes to brag about their solar farms. I think that when you take real farm land and turn it into a power plant, you are ignoring the need to feed human beings. It means that you will be able to charge your electric car, but when you drive it to the grocery store, the shelves will be bare.

Cows can't graze on "solar farms".

We have sent Ukraine more than $44 billion in aid to Ukraine. I saw pictures Zelensky at Notre Dame in Paris yesterday. Can we send that guy a couple of collared shirts? Even Castro wore collared shirts.

Remember Pearl Harbor?

Eighty-three years ago today, the Japanese attacked the US Navy base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.  Early on the morning of December 7, 1941, planes from Japanese carriers bombed Pearl Harbor. There were 2403 Americans killed in that attack. In hindsight, the Japanese probably consider that attack to have been a mistake.

That attack brought the United States into World War 2, which would end with a couple of atomic bombs being dropped on Japan in August 1945.

If you want an inside view on the failure of public education, ask a person under thirty about Pearl Harbor. Once you explain that you are not talking about a resort or a jewelry store, brace yourself for a blank stare. The lack of knowledge about American history by Americans is breathtaking. The average teenager knows more about Taylor Swift than they know about George Washington. Of course, Tay-Tay gets more press than George.

More than twenty years ago, I was being interviewed on a local television station about the War Between the States or the American Civil War, you pick. I told the interviewer that the problem with asking the public about Civil War issues was that most of them know little to nothing about the war. I told him that high school students weren't learning anything about American history. I explained that I had high school students working for me, who had no idea that the United States fought in World War One. I told him that the only reason that some of them knew about the Korean War was that they watched MASH reruns. He laughed, I didn't.

I have found that a lot of adults do not understand the intensity of WW 2, especially the war against the Japanese. In my "Stuff for Sale" venture, I sell old Life magazines at flea markets and antique shows. I also have a bunch of old Popular Mechanics, Popular Science and Mechanix Illustrated magazines for sale. The Life magazines from WW2 are more "sophisticated" in the headlines on their covers. The PM, PS and MI magazines from WW2 are not anywhere as sophisticated as the Life magazines. The headlines are much more direct in those magazines. Let's face it, their target audience was men. My favorite headline was, I believe, from Popular Mechanics. It read "Should we Gas the Japs?" There are many other similar headlines. Don't waste your breath telling me that Americans don't care about that war anymore. The issues that have those kinds of headlines are the first to sell. In fact, after the first event where I sold a bunch of those wartime issues, I raised my prices on those magazines for future events. It didn't affect my sales at future events.

To be honest, a lot of my sales of those war era magazines are older people. But I have sold a lot of those war issues to younger people by pointing out the covers to them and then giving them a quick history lesson. Good news! I don't charge for teaching your kids about history.

So, what does the future hold for a nation filled with people who don't know anything about their history? Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it.

This is just a bonus free shot but, the war in Ukraine looks a lot like Vietnam. Yeah, we are just sending weapons and advisors.

You know that you are in the South when they post a "number of deer" capacity on the freezers for sale. This was at Lowes in Danville, VA. Don't tell Rudolph!!

Did Archie teach Trump?

More than fifty years ago, while working for the Waffle House in Tampa, I worked with a guy named Archie Morgan. Archie worked as a unit manager until a couple of alcohol related incidents ended his career in management. He worked for several months as a cook before he hit retirement age and gave up working forever. I have mentioned him before involving some comments he made about his wife while possibly under the influence of alcohol. But enough background. let's move on.

One day Archie asked me about some piece of equipment that I was cleaning. I explained why I was doing what I was doing to clean the equipment. Archie asked me why I was doing it that way. I told him that I was doing it that way because that was how I had been trained to do it. He smiled and asked if I thought that there might be a better way to clean the equipment. I told him that there was what I thought might be a better way, but it wasn't the way that I had been taught.

He looked at me and said, "If you always do, what you always did, you will always get, what you always got." That grammatically incorrect sentence has been responsible for thousands of decisions that I have made in the more than fifty-two years since that day. Now you know who to blame. There are scores of people who think that I have polished his advice to perfection.

Why am I writing about this today? Donald Trump. Trump is a guy who obviously had somebody give him similar advice in his life. Trump takes a different road to the destination. Trump marches to the tune of a different drummer. Phrase it anyway that you want, Trump operates differently.

In his first term, Trump tried to fit into Washington. He got mauled by bureaucrats. The enormous bureaucracy that is Washington, DC just wouldn't work with Trump. Dr. Fauci is a prime example of all this. But Trump is a learner. I think that this term will be dramatically different from the first. Every appointment that he announces is evidence of this.

The media and Democrats (which is actually redundant) are screaming about how Trump's appointments will end the nation. They are lying. They are wrong. They are terrified of change. There is an adage that goes "Only wet babies appreciate change." Democrats are evidence of the truth in that adage.

I keep hearing how we need people with experience to lead different government agencies. Pete Hegseth is being ridiculed and attacked by Democrats and their media scum friends. They claim that he has drinking problems and may have sexually assaulted someone. Why don't they talk about his military experience? After all, that is the post for which he has been nominated. I am reminded of all of the "haters" who told Abe Lincoln that U.S. Grant was a drunk. Lincoln is reported to have said "Find out what brand he drinks, so that I can get a barrel for all of my other generals." Let's get a DOD run by people who realize that the real enemies of national defense are the government bureaucracy and the military-industrial complex.

We keep getting government officials from the same sources and wonder why nothing ever changes. If you keep planting corn in your garden, you aren't going to harvest green beans.

Right now, the DOD is being run by a retired four-star general who imperiled our national defense because he didn't know how to call in sick. He left no one in charge while in the hospital and didn't even notify his boss, Sleepy Joe. Lloyd Austin is the Crown Prince of the military-industrial complex. Which companies will hire him on Jan 21? Years ago, we passed a law prohibiting any military officers from serving as Secretary of Defense until they had been retired for five years. So, we keep getting Congress to make an exception for nominees. How's that working for us? Why bother passing a law if you are going to keep making exceptions to it?

It's time to fish in a different pond. It's time to not just think outside of the box, it's time to act outside of the box. We keep making retired generals the Secretary of Defense and we end up with the same problems that we had before they started. "If you always do, what you always did, you will always get, what you always got." It's time for change. It is not just the DOD; it is everything in government. Government is the problem, not the solution.

We don't need people who know how Washington works. We need people who can change how Washington works. It's time for real change. Why keep making the same stupid mistakes? I am willing to risk that we will make some new mistakes and still get better results.

Tell Trump to bring in the outsiders!!

3:30 AM Thoughts

It was about twenty degrees as our old dog and I strolled the front yard with her looking for the perfect spot to "pop a squat". That time of morning is a time that I am familiar with after years of getting up in the middle of the night and going to work.

That damn global warming is producing some low temperature records in North Carolina and many other places this December and we are only four days into the month. I can only assume that the polar bear that walked through my yard heading south, was Al Gore on his way to a Christmas costume party.

The liberal media and their Democrat supporters continue to attack Pete Hegseth. This morning's headline proclaimed that Hegseth had five affairs in his first marriage. That's irrelevant unless they can show me how that affected his job performance. Just to lob a few rounds into the fire, let's ask Democrats how many affairs that President John Kennedy had during his first marriage. Yet, they worship Kennedy. Obviously, this is only a problem when Republicans do it.

I am having trouble understanding a world where people with the morals of US Senators are questioning someone else's morals. Obviously, this is what my grandmother was talking about when she said, "That's like the pot calling the kettle black." Thanks for that insight, Granny.

This morning, twenty-nine days after the election, California finally reported the results of their final congressional race. The Democrat won by about 200 votes. Thank God that the Democrat won. If he had lost, they would still be counting the votes. We need a constitutional amendment that standardizes election rules nationwide.

The "Slowest Learning Politician" award appears to be a shoo-in for Brandon Johnson of Chicago. The same black folks who put him in office are now screaming for his head. He tried for a $300 million tax increase. The City Council voted it down. Now, he wants a $60 million tax increase. He's not going to get that either. Black people in Chicago are opposed to the city giving illegal immigrants things that the black citizens who pay taxes can't get. Take a message, Brandon!!

Would Fat Alvin Bragg have charged Daniel Penny in the subway choking case if the victim had been white? Would he have charged Penny if he was black? The answer to both questions is no. I think that the Trump Justice Department needs to investigate the Manhattan District Attorney's office.

Trump's attorneys have filed to have his New York case dismissed. Judge Merchaun can both follow the law and save himself a federal investigation by dismissing this disaster. Is he smart enough to do that? We will see.

Joe Biden is in Angola giving away more money that we will have to borrow. Joe is more than a little confused. On arrival in Angola, Joe said, "Wow!! This must be the best prison in Louisiana!"

Top Tuesday Topics

It's the week after a long holiday weekend for some people, but none of those who work with the public. Here's a few topics to serve as conversation starters with people who you don't like.

How about all of those "rivalry" college football games that looked Championship Wrestling from Florida back in the early 1970's? What kind of moron tries to "plant their flag" on a field of artificial turf? If they had put as much energy into playing the game as they did into resisting the other team's efforts in "planting the flag", it would have been a much better game.

The Big Ten fined Ohio State and Michigan $100,000 each for this incident in their game. They have players who make that kind of money. Why not some fines starting at the $1,000,000 mark?

This whole "planting our flag" is just the NCAA version of "flashing gang signs." How about planting the United States flag at midfield? Planting Old Glory has got to be better than getting your asses kicked for a school flag.

Joe Biden pardoned Hunter Biden because Joe claims that the Justice Department persecuted him. Has Joe heard of the Justice Department's actions against Donald Trump? Maybe he can check with President Jill?

There's a stupid commercial on television for Gravite cologne. In the commercial, a guy wearing the scent walks into a room where several women are blindfolded. I remember a time long ago when several women suggested to me that they would have to be blindfolded to go out on a date with me. I always responded to that with the same comment, "So you aren't ruling it out completely?" The Gravite commercial is pure fiction. A real man would have cut some enormous fart in a room full of blindfolded women. Yeah, that would get those blindfolds off!

There can be no document read less by politicians than the US Constitution. Politicians today are talking about passing laws that restrict the President's pardon authority. The Constitution places no limits on the President's pardon power. Congress will need to pass a constitutional amendment to alter that power. Good luck schmucks, on getting 38 states to approve your amendment!!

Congratulations to the folks at Fox News!! Even after Trump won the election in resounding style, they are still able to find some dumbass Dims to talk about how they are going to stop Trump. My first impression is that the Dims need to direct their folks to some assorted twelve-step programs. Dims think denial is a river in Egypt.

It turns out that New York City signed a three-year contract worth more than $220 million to rent the Roosevelt Hotel to provide rooms for immigrants. Apparently, no one bothered to check and find out that the government of Pakistan actually owns the hotel. These are the same folks who screamed about foreign dignitaries staying at Trump Hotels when he was President. So, we are paying a foreign country for rooms for immigrants that they shipped over here? If this makes sense, change your party registration to Socialist.

Some Democrats are claiming that Pete Hegseth has/had a problem with alcohol. Have they met Nancy Pelosi or my favorite wino, Kamala Harris? I think that this is a psychological disorder known as transference.

Senator Richard Blumenthal oppose Hegseth's nomination as Secretary of Defense. Blumenthal is famous for telling people that he served in Vietnam. The closest Blumental got to combat in Vietnam was running the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots drive in Washington DC. Just another liberal with an imagination or a Biden-like liar?

Democrats got their asses handed to them a few weeks ago and they still claim that everything is okay in our government.  They didn't get the message, there is no hope for them.

This past weekend was "Your cleats, your cause" in the NFL where players could put messages on their shoes. No fines have been announced yet. I guess that MAGA was pre-banned from shoes.

Pardon Me, Miss...

I thought that Robert Goulet's version was the best of the bunch, but none can compare to the Hunter Biden version put out by the Democrats and Joe Biden yesterday.

Can you picture Hunter Biden singing, "Pardon me miss, but I have never done this, with a real live girl"? Kind of brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?

The same Democrats who have spent the last four years telling us what a great job Ma Garland and his team of partisan prosecutors have done are suddenly in the position of having to admit that Trump is right about the Department of Injustice. You have to hand it to the Dims, they can completely change their beliefs at the sound of the tone.

Joe Biden claims that if Hunter's last name was anything other than Biden, he would never have been prosecuted by the Department of Injustice. They may be true, just like Melania's underwear drawer would have never been searched if her last name was anything other than Trump. Maybe some enterprising journalist will ask Martha Stewart for comments about the Department of Injustice.

To be honest, I didn't think that Joe Biden would pardon Hunter. But I did expect Donald Trump to pardon Hunter Biden on his first day in office. Now he doesn't have to do that. While Biden is being excoriated for pardoning Hunter, Trump would have appeared as magnanimous for doing that. You gotta love how the press paints pictures for us.

The only reason that the Department of Injustice (DOIJ) prosecuted Hunter Biden is they had to give the "illusion of fairness" while trying to destroy Donald Trump. Hunter Biden was just collateral damage to Ma Garland and his band of lying leftist bastards.

Is there any evidence of corruption at the DOIJ? Let's start with the trial of Donald Trump in New York City. The number three man at the DOIJ left the DOIJ to work as an assistant in Alvin Bragg's office. This led to the trial of Donald Trump on what are essentially bullshit charges that will not stand up through an appeal. Let's take a look at all of the communications between the DOIJ and Fat Alvin Bragg. This whole thing fails the "sniff" test.

In the Georgia case, Nathan Wade met twice, according to his expense reports, with the White House Counsel. Did he meet with anyone with the DOIJ? Again, let's see all of the communications between the DOIJ and Phony Fani Willis.

A few days ago, Democrats were screaming about the character of Matt Gaetz and how he would destroy the integrity of the Department of Injustice. How could anyone destroy "integrity" that simply does not exist? Yesterday, Joe Biden destroyed any ideas about the "integrity" of the Department when he basically agreed with Donald Trump and the Republican party about the DOIJ.

I can't wait for some Democrat senator to question the nomination of Pam Bondi as Attorney General. They have got a Department of Corruption at the DOIJ. Who could do worse than Merrick Garland? The President for the last four years has criticized the performance of the DOIJ. The incoming, present and past President have criticized the DOIJ. By now, even the slow among you must understand the need for a deep cleaning of the leadership at the DOIJ.

The Senate needs to confirm Bondi as Attorney General and Kash Patel as head of the FBI. As my grandmother used to say, "A new broom sweeps clean."  I can't let that pass without the old story about Rolls Royce building a new limo for Queen Elizabeth many years ago. The car had a bed in it for the Queen to use for naps. Headlines in Britain read, "New brougham sleeps Queen." And that's the worst in humor today.

We don't need a politician at the DOIJ, we need a bulldozer. Let's get Patel and Bondi on the case.
