Finds and Whines

 The political leaders of the city of Washington, DC are telling us that crime is actually going down as Trump moved to take control of the city police department. I have written several times that the maximum number of words on a sign should be seven. Here's a billboard for Washington DC's leaders, "Figures don't lie, but liars can figure." 

While DC leaders were crowing about how safe their city by the sewer is, they had their 100th murder of the year. Put me down for skeptical of their claims about dropping crime rates. By the way, they don't even take juveniles to court in the District of Criminals, so I doubt that those stats are included in their forged figures. Like every other city that ends cash bail, they have experienced an increase in repeat offenders. Who would believe that? Everyone without a (D) behind their names.

I heard that the DC Mayor has hired the woman Trump fired at the Bureau of labor Statistics to handle her crime statistics. 

Bernie Sanders continues his "Fighting Oligarchy" tour. A guy flying around the nation attacking "oligarchy" while traveling in a charted private jet takes a bigger set of balls than the average voter possesses.

New York's Zohran Mamdani is touring the boroughs of New York to attack Donald Trump. Hell, I didn't even know that Trump was on the mayoral ballot in New York's mayor race. 

Why are all of the "socialist" candidates rich? Mamdani recently visited his family "compound" in Uganda to celebrate his wedding. The "compound" is guarded by armed men. Naturally enough, Mamdani thinks that guns are a problem in New York. Bernie Sanders owns three homes, yet has never held a real job outside of politics. This isn't socialism, it's old style Soviet communism.

Trump and Putin are slated to meet in Alaska for talks about Ukraine. Rumors that Sen. Lisa Murkowski will join the talks as the spare Communist may or may not be true.

I graduated from Leto High School in Tampa almost 55 years ago. About ten days ago, I was reading the Tampa Free Press online and found an interesting article. It seems that the school's recently appointed principal had been arrested for DUI and possession of cocaine by the Tampa Police Department. Speculation among the alumni was that he was trying to identify with the student body. Either that or he is just stupid. By the way, he has been suspended awaiting trial.

I should have known that the school board wouldn't react as I would. If I had a new employee call in and tell me that he couldn't come to work because he had been arrested for DUI and possession of cocaine, I would have just gone ahead and fired him. I would just take my chances with the unemployment claim.

There's a Nobel Prize for Medicine for anyone who can develop a vaccine for Trump Derangement Syndrome. Dr. Fauci is ineligible.

If you are thinking that the Nobel Peace Prize judges will ignore anything that Donald Trump does to get peace, you are absolutely correct. It's been more than sixteen years and we still don't know what Obama did to even get nominated for his Nobel Peace prize.

The guy who claims to be my only friend is traveling to Ireland with his wife for vacation. I asked if they were going to visit Rosie O'Donnell. I may be short an only friend.

My wife and I experienced our best sight of the week as we were returning from a trip to Greensboro today. On the I-85 North loop on the south side of Greensboro, we saw an immigration bust going down. In the right lane and the merge lane and on the shoulder of the road were at least six cars with flashing blue and red lights. They had a couple of women standing there with their hands behind their backs and in cable ties. There was a crowd of guys in ICE vests surrounding a car. Hell, yes!! My tax dollars at work. There was a Wal-Mart tractor trailer parked about 100 feet past the scene with reflective markers out on the shoulder. My wife's theory was that they used the Wal-Mart truck as bait for illegals. That's cleaner than any thoughts that I had.
