Top Tuesday Topics

It's the week after a long holiday weekend for some people, but none of those who work with the public. Here's a few topics to serve as conversation starters with people who you don't like.

How about all of those "rivalry" college football games that looked Championship Wrestling from Florida back in the early 1970's? What kind of moron tries to "plant their flag" on a field of artificial turf? If they had put as much energy into playing the game as they did into resisting the other team's efforts in "planting the flag", it would have been a much better game.

The Big Ten fined Ohio State and Michigan $100,000 each for this incident in their game. They have players who make that kind of money. Why not some fines starting at the $1,000,000 mark?

This whole "planting our flag" is just the NCAA version of "flashing gang signs." How about planting the United States flag at midfield? Planting Old Glory has got to be better than getting your asses kicked for a school flag.

Joe Biden pardoned Hunter Biden because Joe claims that the Justice Department persecuted him. Has Joe heard of the Justice Department's actions against Donald Trump? Maybe he can check with President Jill?

There's a stupid commercial on television for Gravite cologne. In the commercial, a guy wearing the scent walks into a room where several women are blindfolded. I remember a time long ago when several women suggested to me that they would have to be blindfolded to go out on a date with me. I always responded to that with the same comment, "So you aren't ruling it out completely?" The Gravite commercial is pure fiction. A real man would have cut some enormous fart in a room full of blindfolded women. Yeah, that would get those blindfolds off!

There can be no document read less by politicians than the US Constitution. Politicians today are talking about passing laws that restrict the President's pardon authority. The Constitution places no limits on the President's pardon power. Congress will need to pass a constitutional amendment to alter that power. Good luck schmucks, on getting 38 states to approve your amendment!!

Congratulations to the folks at Fox News!! Even after Trump won the election in resounding style, they are still able to find some dumbass Dims to talk about how they are going to stop Trump. My first impression is that the Dims need to direct their folks to some assorted twelve-step programs. Dims think denial is a river in Egypt.

It turns out that New York City signed a three-year contract worth more than $220 million to rent the Roosevelt Hotel to provide rooms for immigrants. Apparently, no one bothered to check and find out that the government of Pakistan actually owns the hotel. These are the same folks who screamed about foreign dignitaries staying at Trump Hotels when he was President. So, we are paying a foreign country for rooms for immigrants that they shipped over here? If this makes sense, change your party registration to Socialist.

Some Democrats are claiming that Pete Hegseth has/had a problem with alcohol. Have they met Nancy Pelosi or my favorite wino, Kamala Harris? I think that this is a psychological disorder known as transference.

Senator Richard Blumenthal oppose Hegseth's nomination as Secretary of Defense. Blumenthal is famous for telling people that he served in Vietnam. The closest Blumental got to combat in Vietnam was running the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots drive in Washington DC. Just another liberal with an imagination or a Biden-like liar?

Democrats got their asses handed to them a few weeks ago and they still claim that everything is okay in our government.  They didn't get the message, there is no hope for them.

This past weekend was "Your cleats, your cause" in the NFL where players could put messages on their shoes. No fines have been announced yet. I guess that MAGA was pre-banned from shoes.
