Views on the News

A news story on March 26 told of white men abandoning Obama and the Democrats in droves. Frankly, I am stunned that this is even news.

Obama goes to Afghanistan in a surprise visit. You know that when you are going to a war zone to find a friendly crowd, it is pretty bad at home. If I had signed that health care bill, I would have gotten the hell out of town also.

Ricky Martin announces that he is gay. NOOOOOOO! What next?? Is the sun rising in the east tomorrow? This announcement is on the same shock level as Clay Aiken's announcement that he is gay.

A headline and photo today proclaimed that 70 year old Nancy Pelosi was bringing back "sexy". When I get past the dry heaves stage, I may be able to comment on this ludicrous statement about the socialist bitch from San Fagcisco.

Several large corporations are starting to take charges against earnings for new costs of health care. This can't be happening!! Health care costs are all going down now that Obamacare is here. Next to the claims that the Demoncrats made about Obamacare, global warming sounds believable.

Health care reform??

The Anointed One has signed the alleged health care reform bill so Nancy Pelosi is letting us find out what is in it. As I do not have the time to read the 2700 page bill, let me just ask a few questions.

Where is the provision to help hospitals cope with the losses incurred treating illegal aliens? Are we requiring illegals to purchase insurance?

Obama's next big push will be immigration reform. Yes, we need more people to vote Democratic to offset the millions pissed off about the health care bill.

To provide medical care for an additional 30 or 40 million people will require more doctors and nurses. Where is the provision to expand medical schools and give financial assistance to those wanting to be doctors and nurses?

We need more doctors and nurses but instead we are getting 15,000 new IRS agents to make sure that we are buying insurance.

Doctors are forced to practice defensive medicine to avoid lawsuits. They test you for every disease known to man when you go in with a sore throat. Where are the reforms to help deal with malpractice suits??

It is worth pointing out that trial lawyers are the largest or second largest group of donors to the Democratic Party. If you don't think that lawyers are a problem with health care, turn on your television and watch the commercials. No TV, no problem. Pick up a magazine, read a newspaper, check out the billboards as you drive. Apparently if you are sick, you should race to an attorney.

We have become the "Litigation Nation". Something is always someone else's fault. If your buddy takes so much Viagra that his dick turns blue and he can't breathe, it's worth a couple of million dollars. Ridiculous awards contribute to the high cost of health care. Did Obama, a lawyer, do anything about this??

Obamacare regulates the salaries of drug company executives. Do socialists understand capitalism?? How can this be legal under our Constitution? Let's see Obama try to regulate pay scales in the NBA or the NFL.

So what do we have in this "health care" bill?? We have a Congress that is stealing our money to buy votes from people too lazy to work. They are led by a President who is so arrogant that he thinks that we have been wandering the wilderness waiting for him to lead us out. Let's vote these bastards out!!

Obamacare, the plantation grows

Why does Obamacare impose a 10% tax on tanning salons? Because the Democratic Party core doesn't need or use them.

If this package is such a great deal, why won't the President and his cabinet be covered by it?

Obama may regret his bashing of the Supreme Court at the State of the Union speech when the state challenges of Obamacare reach the court.

Obamacare is not about health care. It is about making more people dependent upon the government. It is a blatant attempt to tax me more in an attempt to buy votes from people too lazy to get a job.

Before the Civil War, there was a plantation system. Plantation owners fed, housed, and clothed slaves. The slaves worked in the fields. In the federal plantation system, the government distributes money, food stamps, and government housing. But no one has to work anymore, just vote straight Democratic tickets in every election.

It wasn't handouts that made the United States the greatest country on earth, it was work.

Bart Stupak, must be a misprint for stupid. I hope that Obama printed that executive order on toilet tissue. That's the only use for it.

When you look at all of the special little favors that are in the "health care-less" bill, you realize that bribery is evidently legal in Washington.

Joe Wilson, the South Carolina congressman who shouted "You Lie!" during an Obama speech last year should be nominated for sainthood. He was attacked for being rude. I don't believe that any etiquette rules call for you to sit quietly while someone blatantly lies to you.

Is it too early to take our guns and head to Washington? We will explore that in a future post. I will close today with a quote from Joe Biden,

Obama? That son of a bitch is such a liar that I am starting to miss Bill Clinton. Compared to Obama, Clinton was a paragon of virtue.

The "Healthcare reconciliation" bill contains a revamping of the student loan program. What else is in there?? See Barnum reference above.

If James Madison had known what Congress is doing to his Constitution today, he would have stayed and helped the British burn Washington to the ground.
