Just say "Nein" to Stein!!

White Democrats tell us that we need to elect more black candidates to public office. Then when a black Republican runs for office, they trash them. Why don't they just say we need more "black liberals" elected to public office?

Last night in North Carolina, Democratic candidate for Governor Josh Stein spent his "victory speech" attacking black Republican candidate Mark Robinson as an extremist. I don't believe that Robinson even mentioned Stein in his speech after winning. This is how Democrats treat blacks who leave the "Democratic party reservation".

Stein took time to praise Roy Cooper, the clown who kept North Carolina in a "State of Emergency" for 888 days during the COVID era error. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Roy would have probably declared that "State of Emergency" a few days earlier, but he flew to Tampa for a fundraiser for his campaign first. Isn't that what every leader does during a crisis? When the going gets tough, the tough get going? Cooper was going to Tampa. I lived there for 24 years and never knew that it was such a hot bed for North Carolina politics.

In North Carolina, when the Governor leaves the state, the Lt. Governor is the Acting Governor with all of the power of the governor. Roy Cooper has left the state scores of times but has NEVER notified the Lt. Governor. Given eight years, Roy has never let the Lt. Governor know when he is out of state.

Just for the record, in yesterday's primary, Mark Robinson received almost 187,000 more votes than did Josh Stein. I realize that it was only a primary, but it explains why Stein decided to start his campaign with a "scorched earth" statement.

The news only showed a few minutes of Robinson's speech before cutting away to Stein's attack on Robinson. Robinson stood up and thanked his supporters. There was no evidence that he was reading his comments from a script. Stein stood and read his prepared remarks attacking a black man while claiming that Democrats seek to empower blacks. Pardon my confusion, but if you can't tell me what you believe without using a script, pack it in!

Maybe Robinson's campaign slogan should be "Just say "nein" to Stein!"

In other random thoughts this morning, I offer the following gems.

Police officers are being attacked by immigrants in New York City. Fat Alvin Bragg lets those people walk free because he is too busy prosecuting Donald Trump for paying Stormy Daniels to stay quiet. The Attorney General of the state has similar issues. How many people in the state of New York wake up in the morning saying, "I hope that Donald Trump doesn't try to rob me this morning on the subway"? Or "Is Donald Trump going to get a better interest rate than me on a loan?" Fat Alvin Bragg and Letitia James should be arrested for political prostitution. They have sold their asses to the Democratic Party.

Education is always a big issue in political campaigns. The problem is that there is no correlation between funds expended and educational excellence. I learned that at a Zig Ziglar seminar. It was reinforced every time that I interviewed a prospective employee or tried to have a conversation with a liberal.

We keep building more schools that we only use for about 40 hours a week. Why don't kids go to school in the summer? I forgot, that's when we have the annual summer crime wave. Are we afraid that the little bastards will learn too much if we have year-round school? Every year, we have to listen to people worry about what their kids are going to do in the summer. Why not school? Are we afraid that they will learn to read? Maybe they will learn to add without whipping out their smartphone.

We need to ban cell phones from schools. Before the wailing of liberal parents reaches a crescendo, how did you contact your parents for an emergency when you were at school? They still have a phone in the office. Beyond that, how many actual emergencies did you ever have at school? How many did you have that could not be solved with duct tape? I was rendered unconscious in my only emergency, so I could not have called even if we had cellphones in 1963. Trust me, your children can learn without a cellphone, millions of us did. We not only learned, but we also learned more.
