"Irony" for Idiots/imbeciles/Democrats

 According to Merriam-Webster, irony is defined as “the use of words to express something other than and especially the opposite of the literal meaning.” Another definition would be "incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result."

The best example of "irony" is liberals screaming about Putin putting his political opponents in prison while they are trying to put Donald Trump into prison here for opposing Joe Biden. 

Joe Biden and Doanld Trump are both investigated for handling of "classified" documents. Trump is charged but Biden is judged as not mentally fit to stand trial. So naturally, Biden is still in office leading the free world. Not only that, but he's also running for another term. This is past irony; this is the stuff of "Bizarro World"!!

Liberals scream about dissidents in foreign countries being in jail while they put Jan 6 protesters in jail here in this country. People who looted businesses and burned cities during the BLM riots walk free, while the guy who sat at Pelosi's desk on January 6 is in prison. Irony?

Congress is at the head of the class when it comes to irony in labeling.  There is currently a "TRUTH in Labeling" act before Congress. This is the same body that passed the "Inflation Reduction Act" that had absolutely nothing in it to reduce inflation. The government is trying to spend their way out of inflation. When will Congress pass a law that they will obey? To be honest, there is usually a provision in most bills that exempts Congress. So, I guess that the answer to my question is "Never."

There is a "Border Protection" bill in Congress right now. However, most of the money is not for protecting our borders. It is for protecting the borders of the Ukraine. Out of $118 billion, $60 billion will go to the Ukraine, $14 billion goes to Israel, $10 billion goes to Gaza, and about $5 billion goes to the Taiwan area. There's another $2.5 billion for activities in the Red Sea. Finally, there is $20 billion for our border security. Why does our security have to be tied to the Ukraine? Can we not have a stand-alone bill for our border? The "Border Protection" name is not irony, it's an outright lie. If you label it honestly, nobody is buying it. 

We are funding both sides of the war in the Middle East, where they have been fighting for at least the last 5,000 years. We want to send Israel $20 billion for defense, while we send $10 billion to Gaza to rebuild after they attacked Israel. If this doesn't make sense to you, rest assured that you are not alone. Why are we rewarding the people who started the war? I realize that we have done this before, but it still doesn't make any sense. Irony is helping the folks who started the war rebuild after getting their asses kicked. 

Irony is California legalizing theft and then wondering why retail stores are closing. The government gives out free needles and then wonders why drug usage increases. The government lets people erect tent cities and then ask why normal people avoid those areas and businesses leave? The biggest business surge in California is moving companies and U-Haul rentals. Irony or stupidity?

In New York City, illegal immigrants are attacking and robbing residents while Letitia James tries to destroy Donald Trump. Fat Alvin Bragg is trying to enforce a "novel interpretation of election laws" while police officers are assaulted in Times Square by illegal immigrants. Then Fat Alvin releases those illegal immigrants charged without bail. Let's review that idea of political prisoners in Russia, but not here, one more time. Fat Alvin wants to jail Trump for paying Stormy Daniels but won't jail an illegal who attacks the police. We purport to be the land of the free, but liberals are unable or unwilling to grasp that concept. Irony or power hungry? 

Finally, MSNBC, which claims to abhor racism, featured Tom Schaller who has a new book, "White Rural Rage, the Threat to Democracy." This is past irony; this is blatant stupidity and racism.
