Snow Saturday Satire
This is the Year of the Snow here in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. I realize that it is nothing compared to what the Yankee states receive but it is unusual here. It is pretty for about twelve hours and then it is just a pain in the ass. It wasn't as bad when I worked and had a reason to leave the house, but now it is just a pain. Moving on........
Sen. Thom Tillis, the North Carolina Nitwit, has announced that he won't vote on approving anything until the DOJ ends their probe into whether or not Jerome Powell misled Congress about the causes of the massive cost overruns in the "renovation" of the Federal Reserve's palace in Washington DC.
This has been going on for three weeks now and exactly no one that I have spoken to here in North Carolina has said, "Hey! That Jerome Powell guy is really getting treated badly by the DOJ. I hope Thom Tillis will stand up for him." Yes, given three weeks, exactly ZERO people here in North Carolina have uttered any concern for Jerome Powell. So naturally, this is at the top of the list for Senator Thom Tillis.
The Federal Reserve project is a little more than half a billion dollars over budget right now. The cost has gone from $1.9 billion to $2.5 billion. I realize that's not a lot of money to Senator Tillis, but for those of us who pay taxes, we would like an explanation.
In the BS ring down at the corner store yesterday, several taxpayers/voters were discussing this issue and came to a simple conclusion. Our lives would be much better if Senator Thom Tillis cared as much about North Carolinians as he cares about Jerome Powell. Before you asked, I have already expressed that sentiment in a note to Sen. Tillis.
The national village idiot, Chuck "The Schmuck" Schumer, wants to change how ICE can enforce the law. He wants to eliminate "roving patrols". Yeah, let's do that for all law enforcement, Chuck. The Highway Patrol can just sit at the station and wait for a call to come in identifying a speeder before they can go write a ticket. No more drunk driving arrests until the suspect turns themself in. If your kid is missing, don't worry. Schumer doesn't want the police looking for him. I am sure that someone will find your missing kid, eventually.
Before I go into any more examples of how stupid this is, here's a quick solution, put all 100 US Senators on a plane to Minneapolis. Have them put on an ICE uniform and go out in the streets of Minneapolis and try to arrest people who are breaking the law. Let's expose the US Senate to the conditions that actual law enforcement works under and give them a quick dose of reality.
Our problem in the United States is that our liberals are like spoiled children who throw a tantrum every time that they don't get their way. If you don't believe me, turn on your television.
Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura is telling Minnesotans that they need to secede and join Canada. Jesse has obviously been talking to "Retarded" Tim Walz or maybe it's just brain damage from wrestling or the body building steroids. Walz is making statements asking if this is a "Fort Sumter moment" or a "John Brown moment". It's obvious that Walz failed history. If this is a "Fort Sumter moment", then Minnesota is playing the role of South Carolina. If this is a "John Brown moment", then Tim is playing John Brown. It didn't end well for either South Carolina or John Brown.
Congratulations Tim, you made Trump look like a prophet when he called you "retarded". Just for your info Tim, Hillsdale College has some free online history classes. Check into passing one before you decide to secede from the Union.
I have mentioned this several times, but I am fascinated by the fact that the states supported the federal government in the Civil War are now on the States' Rights side. The states that lost the Civil War are now on the side of the federal government. Well, other than Virginia which is a border state now. All you need to know about Virginia is that their new Democratic governor has decided to declare war on gas powered leaf blowers.
Time to go move some snow. Wonder if that gas powered leaf blower would do that?
