Sign of the Times?

Several weeks ago, my beloved and I were returning from a trip to Colonial Williamsburg and were nearing Waverly, Virginia. I saw a sign and turned around to read it again and have my wife take a picture of it. 

To put it into perspective, this sign is painted on a full 4' X 8' piece of plywood. It's about twenty feet off the road. It is easily and highly visible from the road. I think that we were on Virginia 40 heading west into Waverly.

We had a lot of discussion on the rest of the ride home. Is the neighbor a relative? Is the neighbor a Democrat? With that sign, have the police decided to investigate? Should he have called 911 and then put up the sign? Is he going to rent out that sign to others if it works? 

How long before this shows up on an episode of Cops?
