Random Rants and Reflections on the Reflecting Pool

I have visited the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC at least 12 times in my life. In all of those visits, I have never seen anyone attempting to check on the condition of the reflecting pool. I am amazed by the sudden surge of interest that leftists seem to have in the Reflecting Pool. I can only assume that if Trump had actually taken a shit in the Reflecting Pool, liberal activists would have already formed a DC Turd Patrol to find that evidence. Jack "Jerkoff" Smith is waiting for the call to serve as Special Prosecutor to investigate the cleanup at the Reflecting Pool.

Trump wants to clean up the Reflecting Pool and Democrats want it to remain a dirty, stagnant stinking pool of water. Is this a microcosm of our national condition?

If Democrats take the House in the coming election, they will vote to impeach Trump for trying to clean up Washington, DC. They want to keep it a crime-ridden ghetto. They can't afford for their voters to be in jail.

Only those on the left oppose making our capital city look better and a safer place to visit. We can safely assume that they don't want actual taxpayers and voters coming to town to see what they really are doing. They don't want us seeing the fruits of their labor or lack of labor.

Speaking for North Carolina residents across the political spectrum, Sen. Thom Tillis would make all of our lives a little better if he just got an emergency lobotomy.

Sen. Mitch McConnell's medical issues are making the case for term limits on members of Congress. That's while Sen. Thom Tillis conduct makes the case for a one-term limit. People should not keep running for office until they are actually dead. I will remind readers that voters have the power to impose term limits in every election. Vote the bastards out!!

In Chicago, they have decided to change the name of the Chicago River to the Volga as an acknowledgement of the Communist architecture at the Obama Presidential Center. Rumors that the Obama Presidential Center will change its name to Obama's Anti-Semite Center are said to be premature. They won't change anything before the 2028 elections.

Other rumors that the Obama family wants Chicago officials to change the city name to Volgograd are unconfirmed at this time. Obamagrad was considered but believed to be too obvious.

I saw where renowned investor Paul Pelosi was arrested after hitting a car and leaving the scene without calling the police. The good news is that there wasn't a crazy young guy in the car with Paul. Even better, he still had his pants on.

The Associated Press ran a headline on Saturday that read "Trump makes pointed political speech at Mount Rushmore". WOW!! Trump made a political speech at a place honoring four politicians. Who would have guessed? I guess that he could have just spoken about the history of Mount Rushmore, but that is also rooted in politics.

The Associated Press has abandoned their last shred of dignity and/or credibility. They have fallen into ranks with The Irish Star, MS NOW, Newsweek and those other bastions of journalistic integrity that litter the Internet.

This is like the National State Fair thing in Washington DC.  I think that eleven states refused to participate in it. They all make the same claim, that it is too political. Pardon me, but isn't elected officials deciding not to participate in something started by a President of a different party, a political decision? They are making it political and then claiming that they won't participate because it is too political. This is what a "liberal circle jerk" looks like in DC.

I am reluctant to criticize our North Carolina Governor and resident piece of shit, Josh Stein, but why not participate and tell the story of our state? I saw videos of the exhibits of several other states, and they didn't seem to have a political focus. If you are worried about it being too political, don't make it political. Maybe I am a little confused, was the Trump Administration requiring that state displays be political. Can you get a copy of those rules to me?
