Free Throw Friday

The top military man in the nation has expressed his concerns about how minority soldiers can handle the stress of working on a base named after a Confederate General. This is probably what white folks go through when they have to live or work on a street named after Martin Luther King.

NASCAR actually did a study of door pull ropes in all of their garages to see if there were any other nooses. Of course, they failed to give us any other data like whether or not the doors are all identical in size, age, and manufacturer. Were all of the rope pulls of the same material, size, and length? Were they all of the same age? Did they check them for fingerprints? Did they dispatch independent inspectors to each track or did they just have someone who worked at the track verify this critical piece of intelligence? Does anyone really care?

Several articles in the news about COVID cases in Tulsa surging 2 weeks after the Trump rally. What goes unsaid is that they were surging in several cities other than Tulsa. Also, there was absolutely no mention of any contact tracing that showed anyone actually got the disease at the Trump rally. It's only Trump, why bother with facts? They probably wrote the story before the rally.

You can't turn on the news without hearing about a poll declaring that Trump is hated, unelectable, or didn't eat vegetables as a child. The average poll surveys between 800 and 1500 people. In a nation of 330 million people, we are told that 1200 is a good representative sample. Based on what leftist kooks tell us, there may be more genders than 1200.

The late Lady Antebellum group is now in court trying to protect their new "Lady A" name. This is the price of "wokeness". Just shut up and sing!!

In Greensboro, NC, the Confederate Memorial was vandalized over the holiday weekend. In was located in the city's Green Hill Cemetery. The city hauled it off to storage while they attempt to justify the removal. If the statue of the Greensboro Four had been vandalized, would they have put it into storage? If they start tearing down MLK street signs, will they be placed in storage? Why didn't the city leave it in place so news organizations and members of the public could see what had been done? Where are the pictures of the vandalism? You can bet your ass that if someone had vandalized the Greensboro Four statue, it would be all over the news with pictures. Is there a double standard being used by the liberals who run Greensboro? After years of telling us that Confederate memorials needed to be in cemeteries or museums, the left has demonstrated that idea is just another leftist lie.
