Mid-Week Medley of Moans and Groans

 In 1861 South Carolina ordered the US Army out of Fort Sumter in Charleston. Yesterday, Mayor Brandon Johnson announced "ICE-free" zones in Chicago. It's not going to work out any better for Chicago than it did for South Carolina. Dems are obviously slow learners. More on that tomorrow.

Over at UNC in Chapel Hill, they are all upset because their football team sucks again this year. I can only assume that they blew the budget on getting Big Money Bill Belichick and didn't have enough cash left to buy some good players. Don't worry guys! No one more than ten miles away from Chapel Hill even cares.

Democrats and their hired hands in the media are all raving about the chance that people are going to lose their tax subsidies for Obamacare. If the "Affordable Care Act" actually provided for "affordable care", why do you need to have it subsidized by tax breaks? It's all just another case of people being defrauded by their government. After the recent revelation that Jack Smith accessed the telephone records of eight U.S. Senators, you can bet your ass that Mr. Smith is about to meet his maker, career wise. The only question today is who sues the worthless bastard first? Actually, the other question is which telephone company gets sued today? 

WOW!! It turns out that Donald Trump was right about Jack Smith the whole time. Just add that to the list of the things that the media called "Trump lies," that turned out to be true.

Is there a bigger, fatter pile of crap than Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker? He's fat and stupid. It's rare that a governor actually publicly supports criminals. His position as governor is proof that the average Illinois voter IQ is in single digits.

In a Senate hearing yesterday, Attorney General Pam Bondi taught a bunch of Dims that you ask her questions at your own risk. My favorite was when she blasted Blumenthal of Connecticut for lying about his military service record. Blumenthal is the guy who said that he served in Vietnam when he got no closer than the "Toys for Tots" drive in Washington, DC.  Of course, he might have been safer in Saigon than over by the Navy Yard. 

Zohran Mamdani or Andrew Cuomo? Asking NYC voters which of these guys they want for Mayor is like asking if you want to die from AIDS or be shot to death. But I have to admit that Mamdani is pushing Obama for that "Snake Oil Salesman of the Century" award. A city unable to make the subway safe wants to operate grocery stores. 

Trump should just quit wasting time and declare martial law in Portland. Send the 82nd Airborne in there to restore order and get it over with already. The natives in Portland are preventing federal law from being enforced. When the folks in Little Rock, Arkansas wouldn't obey a Supreme Court order on integrating schools in 1957, Eisenhower knew what to do. He sent the 101st Airborne and kept them there until everything settled down. It will work in Portland as well. Those people assaulting federal officers in Portland need to be jailed. There is no need for further discussion.
